I have 2 vehicles covered under car shield including my 19 year old Land Cruiser. It comes with specific & straight forward guidance if we ever break down. Very happy to know I'm covered in the future!
Engine blew up and they only covered $1200 out of the $6000. My shop provided all the necessary details from cause of failure to freeze frame data. They refused to pay the entire claim. Even though all parts were covered under the contract. If you google this company you'll understand why there's a 10 million dollar lawsuit for deceptive ads. No shop or dealership wants to deal with CarShield either. They are difficult to work with and do not pay out. Save yourself and go with another company.
I called they gave me the phone number to call my problem was fixed in a couple of hours
And I was back on the road.Everything was fast and easy.

Called representative to make sure touch screen control panel was covered and was clarify that it was covered by extender warranty.

I was told on November 15 by a Customer Care agent that my repair my would be covered, however when the repair shop called Car Shield, on December 18 he was told that the repair was not covered.
I thought it was reliable.
