I have 2 vehicles covered under car shield including my 19 year old Land Cruiser. It comes with specific & straight forward guidance if we ever break down. Very happy to know I'm covered in the future!
Engine blew up and they only covered $1200 out of the $6000. My shop provided all the necessary details from cause of failure to freeze frame data. They refused to pay the entire claim. Even though all parts were covered under the contract. If you google this company you'll understand why there's a 10 million dollar lawsuit for deceptive ads. No shop or dealership wants to deal with CarShield either. They are difficult to work with and do not pay out. Save yourself and go with another company.

My experience went much smoother than expected. Although the entire repair was not covered due to labor cost and dealer parts.
I thought carshield was a large and well liked service. I have since heard from several car repair businesses that carshield was the hardest to work with. I did not have that experience.

The salesman explained everything but I would prefer making multiple payments instead on month at a time.
Asking about paying six months to one year in advance. When I received the personal ID cards they were only in my name and I requested cards for my daughter Shanan Love also who will be driving the vehicle additionally later.

Very helpful, told me what to do was very convenient. Was able to lower my payment to a monthly payment.
