I've been a member of Carshield's Warranty Program for quite a few years. During this time, I've had to do maintenance on several vehicle parts. When claims were called in for approval I must say the dealership handling all repairs have been received positively wit prompt and immediate responses for claim verification. I have been blessed to not have my price portions to be above what I felt was reasonable. All claims are received, quoted a price with repairer, and paid upon completion of work. Yes! I'm a satisfied and pleased customer with CarShield and my repair dealership, Firestone for excellent care and showmanship of service! The cost to replace the faulty touch screen on my car was covered by Car Shield. However, I was not expecting that Car Shield does does not cover the cost off programming it so it will function properly.
My first experience with Car Shield couldn't have been better! They quickly approved my repairs on my transmission replacement. I'm so glad that I have the coverage I chose, as my Jeep is a 2002 but has only over 100,000 miles on it. So, I intend to keep it and enjoy it!
I looked into other companies and talked with my repair shop regarding the services Car Shield provides. That positive reaction made my decision for me.

After subscribing to car shield for over 2 years we tried to use it at our dealership...they would not accept it...recently we tried to use it and were denied for several reason including wrong vin number and misspelled name.

I have not had to actually use the repair part of Car Shield, and I am grateful for that, but their customer service is top notch. During my sign-up phase and questions that I had after were addressed immediately, professionally and even though I couldn't see the rep I could tell they had a smile on their face and were happy to assist me. I am very happy so far.
They offered all the services I was shopping for and at a fair cost.

Car shield was there on the spot with assistance.they never once batted an eye to help me. They called the Cadillac dealership within less than an hour to approve coverage. I am very satisfied with my Car Shield Purchase.

I have leased new Toyota Camrys 4 times now which is a total of 12 years ending in 2023. I didn't stop leasing due to disappointments, but because I decided to buy out the lease in November, 2023. I've been used to having all my service and parts taken care of under Toyota's excellent vehicle protection policies, however, I never had a problem with all 4 Camrys. Now that I financed my current car, I wanted to make sure I have peace of mind when it comes to protecting myself against potentially expensive parts and labor as time goes by. I looked into many of the top car protection plans from the top companies, and finally decided to look into more details from Car Shield. I feel like I'm in good hands should I have any hefty repair expenses to deal with down the road.
I chose Car Shield because they offer outstanding services with their own Administrators which would have been reason enough to go with them, but they were willing to negotiate my monthly (or annual if desired) bill in a friendly manor without any of the hard sell. The agent was patient with me as I took my time before settling on a reasonable monthly price that worked for both of us. I'm not talking about settling on that price within one phone call on a single day; I took my time over a few days and even included a couple of emails during the negotiation. I feel Car Shield allowed me to have the best of both worlds.

"Every time I call, I am told that a certain service is covered. However, when I call back after a couple of weeks, I am informed that it is not covered. This inconsistency makes me unsatisfied because I am unable to get accurate information."

I tried calling to stop my policy and was told I didn't have one, but you didn't mind taking $85 out of my checking account every month. So I called my back and had them make sure you can't take anymore out.

Don't get want pay i thought day was good. Took my car to shop & they said it was the motor & they said no to the claim.I did everything I suppose 2 do. And they did not pay. They told me that the timing belt had to hit the motor. A lot of bull. & I still had to pay the man that checked the car

Car Shield presents itself as an extended warranty. Then has clauses in the fine print that allows the to not pay a claim. They also use pressure to get you to out a policy before you can read the fine print.
We understand that we took your money but our policy is written in a way so we don’t have to pay a claim. Had I been told Car Shield will not pay for moving engine part I would have never taken out a policy.
Thought it was a reputable company. Man was I wrong……

We've been waiting three weeks now for the adjuster to show up for the approval to get our transmission repaired. The other garages we went to wouldn't except Car Shield because of very slow payments. Now I can understand their not excepting Car Shield! Time is not on our side with this being our only vehicle. We paid our money up front to purchase this plan so it's time for Car Shield to honor their part!

From the time the claim started to getting my car back i had to keep calling to see what was being done contact from car shield it took over a month or close to a month to get my car back and with out a car i lost a hundred dollars a day out of pocket i know if our policy does't give a rental they should try to get our vehicle back as soon as they can
