I've been a member of Carshield's Warranty Program for quite a few years. During this time, I've had to do maintenance on several vehicle parts. When claims were called in for approval I must say the dealership handling all repairs have been received positively wit prompt and immediate responses for claim verification. I have been blessed to not have my price portions to be above what I felt was reasonable. All claims are received, quoted a price with repairer, and paid upon completion of work. Yes! The cost to replace the faulty touch screen on my car was covered by Car Shield. However, I was not expecting that Car Shield does does not cover the cost off programming it so it will function properly.
Car shield worked with my mechanic on day one. Communicated with me for back up information.

Great company, they actually do what they say they are going to do. Took my truck into my dealership for repair. The dealership told me they were going to do a diagnostic check and report to CarShield what they find. A few minutes later I received an email from CarShield reporting a claim. Exactly 10 minutes I received another email from CarShield stating claim approved. A few minutes later a service technician came to inform me of what I already knew, that the claim was approved. Highly recommend this company!

I have a CarShield plan and had an issue with my SUV and CarShield helped me locate a dealer that was in their Car Repair Network. The process was stress free from start to the finish of the repair. I was only responsible for the co pay and a few parts totaling $200.00. The repair would have coated at lease $2500-3000 without having the CarShield Protection. The other bonus is having road side assistance. My car is several years old but having Car Shield is like having the extra warranty at a dealer. If you are thinking about purchasing a plan it's well worth it and def pays for itself! Thanks again Car Shield! 😊

I would have to drive a half hour to an hour to get to a service that accepts your insurance.
I tried the local ones but they told me I would have to go to a Jeep dealership in order to get the correct part.
They answered my questions. They were nice and knowledgeable.

Put in one claim in 4 years. Rejected rejected the map light repair even though original agent said it was covered. Repair place had to diagnose the problem which cost $250 to determine it was not covered.
Cancelled insurance after that and it was the day of month for next payment. I had sold the car. Called car shield to get payment back they said sorry can't do even though I didn't own car. They are rated one of worst companies.

You guys have been great overall custumer assistance is there for you 24 hours they dont keep you waiting if you need roadside assistance they get there in less than an hour they wont leave you hanging.

Had vehicle in shop waiting to hear back about the results for repair. Car shield kept asking for more diagnostic from dealership which resulted in the same information being sent back and forth for two weeks. End result I waited two weeks to find out repairs were not going to be handled by car shield. No one from car shield kept me informed about any of the processes through out so I kept having to call and call to speak to customer service who kept saying they were waiting to hear back from dealership that had my vehicle. The dealership was in contact with me daily and informed me that car shield was receiving the same information I was being emailed. They weren't waiting like stated

I didn't have funds to cover the auto pay and the payment was denied. I panicked and called Car Shield immediately they re-entered the payment and my problem was solved.

I initially believed by their frequent advertisements in many advertising venue’s that their additional Auto Coverage Repair and Replacement part policies and service coverages would be beneficial for my Personal Ownership of three (3) low milage Owned Auto’s!
But, within their initial 30 day trail period, I had a significant, Permanent Life Health Change Occurrence befall me and When I called their National Customer Service Center the initial representative I discussed this critical matter with was very kind, efficient and clearly well trained, She then informed me She needed “To Escalate My Request to Cancel my initial 30 Day Free Trail Period”! She was “Told” by a Supervisor I would promptly be called by a “Higher Level Corporate Employee who would further assist me personally in cancelling all three (3) of my full Auto Coverage Plans”! As a worried consumer my car was in need of repair and I called car shield to see if was my car under warranty and they said YES. I took it in and was very pleased to know that a certified repair place was available.

Great customer service good price excellent. My car was shaking and wouldn't pick up speed took to the mechanic of my choice and they told me that I need a new transmission. Carshield took care of the issue the warranty, no complaints. I am happy I recommend it to everybody I know.
Great great we called them up explain to my mechanic did and took it from there then they called me a week later to tell me they were going to take 23 weeks for me to get my transmission in and then put it in. I am so grateful for Car Sheild.

Had to pay out money for the car rental when I was told that car rental would be covered. This was not a good issue. Received a notice from the vehicle center stating that the catalytic converter was not covered. This was a $9000 issue to the owner of the car, I didn't think that it was a good thing due to the fact that Car Shield said that they cover issues to the car total car with the Cadillac converter should've been covered.

There were two separate items that based on the contract it was covered and I received a text stating they will be covered, then shortly after received a call saying that it won't be covered due to rust the other claim will be covered (the less expensive claim). I live in Illinois rust underneath a car or SUV is par for the course seeing the type of weather we have here. I was told by the shop there was in fact a leak in the oil pan, which is supposed to have been covered. I didn't appreciate being told one thing then 5 minutes later told another.

My alternator was bad on my 2011 Cadillac SRX so the car repair dealer called Car Shield to file a claim for me. The dealer was told that Car Shield was going to furnish the new alternator. The new alternator was delivered 4 days later, but it was supposed to have been overnight express mail to the repair dealer.
I was really stressed out for the delay because we were scheduled to leave for Florida for an important appointment. The repair dealer said the Car Shield Claim representative never gave them a chance to match, or beat, the price of the new replacement alternator. They had a new alternator in stock for our car. For this incident, we are somewhat disappointed in the way the first claim we had was handled. I did talk with Car Shield's representative, but we never discussed what the repair dealer offered for the new alternator.
We have seen much advertising on TV. Also the plan prices are competitive with other providers.

I have had car shield for years and not 1 time have any problems that I've had been covered by car shield, finding a shop that honor car shield is difficult in Memphis and I haven't find a dealer that honor it
