A couple of months after I signed up, I almost cancelled. Car shield reps worked with me to find the right coverage that better suited my needs that fit with my budget. I questioned my decision from time to time, all the way up until my transmission AND differential both gave out simultaneously. Over $8,000.00 that they covered. I had to pay almost $450.00 for the stuff that wasn't covered like fluids. Saved my A**! As long as you read your contract and know what to expect, Car Shield is a very good service.
I was called twice about my bill not gone through my credit card when I had a email from my bank showing that went through OK. So by the third time I had to tell the operator to recheck because it was paid. So I don't know why I was called when it was paid on time so looks like one department didn't know what the other department was doing
Had a flat tire in Athens,Tx. Talk to a representative and they said it would be a while before they could get someone to come fix it. They said to send in the receipt and they would reimburse. All they said was to put the contract number on email which I did. Now they are saying they need a contract number on receipt which I put in the subject line. I called to see the status and they said they needed the vin number on the receipt which they never told me that. The first person I talked to was rude and ended up hanging up on me. The second person said they would get this done and if there was a problem they would call me and let me know if anything else was needed. I had no call from them so i decided to follow up. I was told it would not be paid. I will be changing warranty companies

My car has been in the shop for over three weeks. No decision on my claim has been decided by the adjuster. I have a rental car that I'm currently paying. As of November 20 first, no decision has been made.
The repair shop has sent photos and estimate two different times the last time being,
November 8th.
I keep getting the same Story in details concerning my claim. But still no result for me the customer

The person that took my call was very professional and nice but I was not able to get what I needed for my car. What I mean is that the issue with my car was not covered under my plan. That's not her fault.

Carshield has always come through. They have helped me same lots of money. They are awesome! I am very happy that I followed through with the TV ad and bought into their program. I tell everyone I know who need to replace their warranty to check out Carshield and let them know how Carshield has helped me save.
I choose Carshield after watching the TV AD and then talking to a sells person. I needed a good coverage for my truck and they had what I needed. It was even better then I thought. Thank You Carshield!

Was informed when purchasing everything that was covered shop was having an issue with my key inform the representative and said the key was not covered the representative when signing up stated my key was covered also in diamond package States it is covered

My experience with Car Shield was great. This was my first claim and I was very pleasantly surprised at how simple it was. I had the repair shop contact Car Shield and the work was approved immediately. Very happy with the results.
My car was getting older and out of warranty so I made the decision to call Car Shield. I have seen their commercials and I decided to try it. Very happy I did.

My car was dead in the garage so I called a wrecker to take it to the shop when the driver looked at
The car and he thought it was the battery so he took it to the shop. The dealership called me and said it.
Was the battery. So I called Car Shield but they said they didn't cover batteries. So I not only had to
Buy a new battery but had to pay for the wrecker.

Every time which is 3 times in the last 6 years, the person that answers the phone tells me the issue is covered on my plan and then some one calls me back and says it is not covered and they tell me I have the best coverage. I am canceling Car Shield
The person on the phone the first initial call was very polite. She took my name and looked up my policy and said that the issues that I stated to her were covered although it does take a long time you have to be very patient for them to answer the phone I was on the phone for three hours waiting.
I have an 2008 Lexus and thought it might help in the future

The representative was very informative very nice and very Respectful and polite. I hit a lot of questions. And they were very, very nice and made me feel comfortable to understand what I was dealing with.
It all sounded very good to me.
And I just keep calling to be refreshed on why I really have this. I have a pretty new car.
But I did check with my insurance for coverage. It really doesn't cover a whole lot and from what I understand car shield covers. Towing and lackouts and things that I need. Because I travel a lot. I really think I made a good decision.
Fidel, my car only has 63000 miles on it. I seem to think I can take a chance at my age. Being out there 400 miles away. Without some kind of help.

I took my car to my car shop to get it fixed, but they didn't accept Car Shield's parts. Car Shield only paid what their price would be and I had to pay the difference. I paid over half of the original price plus the deductible and shop fees.
Customer service called me and told me that Car Shield would only send their parts but my car shop wouldn’t accept it, so Car Shield would only paid what their part cost. I had to pay the difference or take it to a shop that would accept Car Shield parts. I paid the difference plus the deductible and shop materials.
Suppose to be able to take it to any car shop and paid only a $100 deductible.

All I ask is for you to send one of your inspectors out to look at my car at Valvoline in Seagoville, so they could see for themselves the problem with my car, and all you do is give me another run around, file a dispute and maybe you will come and check it out... Just one thing after another to keep from keeping you word. I see you customers and tell everyone they are not true. I am sorry I thought you were trustworthy, but have found out all your commercials stories are not true! I really thought I had gone with the right company

They took care of my car problem. They are very professional and have very professional personnel. They payed to fix my truck and then I payed my deductible. So I tell my friends about Car Shield and family.
They were very professional and very helpful. Even when I told them that Ed Payen Ford in Weslaco Texas wouldn’t take my car because it was a 2004 Ford. So they told me, they would find an another car dealer that would take my car.

Check your records before sending out dunn letters that I owe you money. I applied for membership last month, and you sent me a letter stateing that I owe your company money, I called your company to find out why you sent me this dunn notice, I asked the person that I was talking to, if they would check my payment information and to verify if I owe you a payment or not. The person checked the computer record and came back and told me that I did not owe you any money as I had made my payment the month before. So please double check your financial records to verify that I have missed a payment or not. Being that I am a new customer, it would make me feel better, and this would allow us to start off on the right foot, and would help me to feel assured that I have joined a very professional company. Fortunately since I've had CarShield I've not had any unexpected problems with my vehicle thank goodness. I do know however should one ever arise I have the piece of mind knowing I have a CarShield coverage plan too protect me from those outrageous repair charges. Honestly I couldn't imagine driving around every month and not having a CarShield coverage plan on my Terrain. I trust this company to cover any unexpected expenses. Having known a friend who has them and needed some unexpected repairs done this past summer this company means what they say.
They straightened out my billing issue fast and so they are just so nice!

Car Shield has helped me save money on at least two car repairs over the past year, including a new starter and then a cracked fusebox. My repair shop said Car Shield was one of the easier warranty compaines they have dealt with and my car is running much smoother and much more dependable now thanks in large part to my warranty with Car Shield.
It seemed to be a strong policy and covered many parts on my vehicle which was important in case of a future breakdown on any of those parts.

Simply, I called Car Shield and notify them of the problem. They gave me the claim number and I presented to the car dealer. The dealership called Car Shield and explained the details of the problem. Car Shield approved and the car was fixed. All I had to do was make one phone call and the problem was resolved.
I forgot the name of the person that took my call, but must say she was very professional and knew how to handle a first time caller.
Car Shield teamed up with my company as part of our perks program. Made a good choice choosing them.

The warranty is not a good service for the parts that are covered under the warranty contract that I purchased the parts that I needed replaced and repaired were not included in the warranty agreement contract. I had to pay for the repairs!
The customer service team member I spoke to falsely told me that the parts were covered and they were not !
I thought it was a good automobile warranty and Car shield, a reputable company, but that is not the case.

I was lied to I was told a had a platinum package most of my vehicle was covered for parts and labor a year later I'm told I have a gold package and nothing was covered on.my vehicle I had to pay $1000 out of pocket

I was told it was good to have if it vehicle need fixing it would save me money instead it cost me more i been paying every month now for over a year so now to have to pay for a rental while it's getting fixed and y'all don't help pay I'm going to let everyone know don't waste your money like I did

We are always happy to explain your coverage details and assist in any customer service needs, however. We, at CarShield, have little to no control over the decision of your claims. That is up to the administrator of the account.
You are not the company for me because when I needed your help you left me dry after send you money every month. And I need you to pay for my car to get fix. And to fine out the company didn't take you. You wouldn't not only send my money back you wouldn't even pay half.

All I did was call and the representatve provided a claim number for the dealer to call. I only had to pay the $100 deductible and the cost of parts needed. Car Shield literally saved me $1200. I am so grateful I followed a co-worker advice and got this coverage.
