I have 2 vehicles covered under car shield including my 19 year old Land Cruiser. It comes with specific & straight forward guidance if we ever break down. Very happy to know I'm covered in the future!
After many years (7) of being with your company and very little repair claims; now that a major repair is needed you'll have dropped the ball with a lot of red tape and inquisitions. I've paid my premiums like clockwork every month. I'm not at all happy with your service or professionalism towards fixing my car, you'll looking for the cheap route to solve my issues. Cheapness seems to be your best interest and not satisfying a seven (7) year customer!
When I called CarShield to check on repair on my car, it was the easiest experience with a warranty company that I had ever had. It was also a great feeling to only pay my co-pay, total. Thanks Car Shield.

When my car broke down I attempted to contact Car Shield; but apparently they was not car shield. I was told that car shield did not pay claims in KY and had law suites with various repair companies. They tried to get me to cancel my policy and file a com,plaint to get my money back that I had paid into car shield; I decided that did not sound correct. I took my car to the dealership and they contacted car shield and got the ball rolling. It took some time(3-4 weeks) but car shield did honor lmy claim and paid all but 885.00. I am very happy that car shield stood by their claims and repaired my car. Thank God.
I called cs after a few weeks because i was not sure why it was taking so long to get and ok for repair. The person I spoke to was very kind and helpful. I appreciated that at the time because i was stressed out because I did know if my car was going to be repaired.
The commercials; I believe the people who made them would not do so if the company was a fake.

I must have hit something in the road because it made a loud noise, then it sounded like I had created a hole in my muffler. I brought the car to my mechanic and he said a piece of the tailpipe had come off, and it would have to be replaced at a cost of $700. I called car shield to report it and ask for it to be covered. I have never heard from them since.

The issue with my car was diagnosed and woukd have been covered by the warranty but the warranty company said another procedure that was quite expensive had to be done first and would not be covered. Because of the demand by the rental company, the dealer could not fix the problem they identified. I took the vehicle to another mechanic and he fixed the item that was identified and I've had no issues with this since. Very disappointed and I'm in the process of looking for another warranty company. I was warned about Carshield and thought it was just competition slander, but now I'm not so sure.

I filed a claim regarding engine problems. Even though my issue was not covered by my contract, the claims adjuster was very sympathetic to my situation. He pointed out, in the contract, why my repair was not covered. He stated I did everything right, in regards to maintenance on my car, and filing a claim before the car broke down. I had to buy a new car, with a new car warranty. In the event I ever need an extended warranty, I will consider CarShield again for my coverage. I will also recommend CarShield to others. Your customer service was top notch.
When I called to cancel my contract, the customer service representative was very understanding about my situation.
I needed a warranty for repairs, because my extended warranty had just expired.

I canceled my CarShield plan and changed my mind about it. The professional who assisted me with reinstatement was understanding and well-trained. Nothing more to add to the description of how she treated me professionally.

I saw an ad on TV and tried them. There are some drawbacks however. The individuals who give the yes or no regarding repairs are not so nice. Their answer is mostly we don't cover that even though the booklet says they do. It's frustrating

I didn't appreciate the misinformation during the early stages of claim approval process.
The repair shop was waiting for the claims department claiming that the necessary information was provided to the claims department to get the process moving.
I spoke with the claims department after waiting patiently for the process to get moving towards approval.
Unfortunately it wasn't until I registered my dissatisfaction on the claims department inquiry site before the claims department and the shop was on the same page.
Thankfully my vehicle is under going the necessary repairs.
I expect the remaining outcome will be more satisfying than the initial start.
I choose carshield because of its satisfaction rate amongst its members.

My overall experience with Carshield was really good. I had the service since February. They offered a really good deal for my vehicle. Thankfully, I didn't have to use any of the services for my vehicle but it was great to have the coverage when I needed it.

They provided a rental car only problem was, the garage it was taken to had it for 2 days and figured they didn't have the equipment to do the job. It then had to be brought to a garage that had the right equipment we had to wait to get authorization that took 2 days and the weekend. Work hadn't started and I had to return the rental. It was a long process.

When we were talking to the agent in the beginning we gave him the two dealerships we deal with. He said both were covered. One wasn't. If we knew that we probably wouldn't have signed. The problem we found out after awhile was that they have trouble collecting money from you

Being able to get a rental for a week from CarShield is great but the dealership still has my car with no idea when the part will come in or when the vehicle will be repaired. So I am only able to use vehicle for a week paid by CarShield but need to pay the additional cost on my own.

Carshield representative told me that certain parts were covered and that my vehicle would be covered. Carshield after telling me parts were covered and authorized me to have my vehicle fixed refused payment
I asked to speak with a supervisor and was denied both times. I was speaking to at least three people over a five day period each day.

Though I didn't have my car for six weeks, I was okay knowing it would be covered. I was hoping it would be full coverage but I was ok with the amount that they offered. They also covered 14 days of the rental car I had, it wasn't fully covered but I'm happy with the amount that was.
Actually at the time of my choosing Car Shield, they were the only one that I saw advertised. I knew I had to have some protective type of coverage.

I informed Car Shield that my card on file had been hacked and that I was waiting for a new number. I was told that it was fine and that I had 35 days to make the payment. Well EVERY DAY there was email/phone message that my payment was past due. I really did not appreciate it.

I don't remember reading or being told the taxes ARE NOT PAID. They don't pay for anything that is not the problem like oil change or coolant when you have a waer pump done. My vehicle also had to have a timing chain replaced because of the water pump, the repair facility had to fight with them. The repair facility had to wait for car shield to send them the parts, couldn't just order them so that the person paying a pricey premium can get their vehicle back in a reasonable time.

It seems that it took me longer to find someone that honors CarShield or any third party insurance than it would have been to take to the dealer and have it done. Fortunately, I did find someone who takes CarShield and they explained the procedure. The situation cleared itself up and I do know what to do incase something else goes wrong.

I had a main computer failure (a very expensive repair) and Car Shield took care of it all the way from the towing to the repair shop to getting me a rental car while it was being repaired all the way to delivery of my repaired vehical.
