My starter gave out on my 2014 F-150. Once again, CarShield made my repair experience smooth and easy. What would have cost me nearly $500 was just my $100 deductible. So far I've saved thousands on repairs through CarShield.
To my jeep in because it was shutting down while driving. The technician said it was oil housing and oil sensor problems also the crankshaft sensor was failing. You guys said prove it. It didn't fail in the shop but it did three times the next day so. Now I got take it back 3days before Christmas. It shut down trying to merge onto the Pennsylvania Highway which is very dangerous. The crankshaft sensor is cover so why just cover it.
Called to ask a simple question and was given the most accurate and informative information regarding coverage details.

American Autoshield called and reported the claim would be completed do to a branded title. I informed the representative I was not aware of a branded title. The representative assured me the repairs would be completed and advised that I contact Carshield and explain the situation and inquire about the cost of a surcharge due to the branded title. I contacted Carshield and provided the details.
The representative recorded my concern and stated I would receive further details the following day by email or phone. I did not receive any details the following day. I contacted Carshield again the following Tuesday, November 28,2023. The representative provided details to the surcharge amount and stated the claim had been approved.
The repair shop contacted me Monday December 4,2023 and stated Carshield had denied the claim. I contacted Carshield and spoke to Victor in the claims department who stated the claim had been denied and Carshield would not honor any claim going forward for the repairs in the claim.
Agents were courteous. Information was incosistent. Victor refused to provide requested information and continually pointed out the dispute resolution process.

It turns out i need a headgasket replaced. My car was overheating, all the mechanic was going to do is replace the thermostate. And this minor thing to do and even this was refused.

I had the Gold since Sept 2022, AC went out the start of this summer. Took my Denali to GMC. They called me the next day and told me that Car Shield was going to look for a used AC, the dealer said "we don't install used parts So Car Shield hung up on them". Dealership told me So I called Car Shield and they told me the same thing. I told them that I'm not putting a used compressor on my $80K truck and they hung up on me!
TOTAL RIPOFF! I canceled 3 months ago and they still text telling me I'm 3 months behind! Pure STUPIDITY!

Great experience. It didn't take long for Car Shield to authorize the repairs and my van was ready to be picked up.
Very good. I had a few questions about the policy and where to take my van. They were able to help me find a repair facility and actually helped me schedule the appoinment. Very good customer service.
I had to buy an older model van and I wasn't sure what I was going to do if something happened that needed repaired. After seeing the Car Shield commercials on television, I decided that it must be a good deal for me.

Almost 2 months ago I had transmission problems.you hual it to mr.transmission in Montgomery, al.you paid 3000 dollars I paid my part. I call carsheild I was told nothing you can do but take it back.I did so they came back with another diagnose said it was computer after the in stall the computer they call me and said carsheild send a bad transmission. So on 11/13/2023 they call said another transmission was install and I own them for a computer I didn't need. Went pick up car it did drive 4 or 5 miles and transmission stop shifting. Took my car right back to MR.Transmission and it diagnose came reading the same problem it was said almost 2 months ago. So far I don't have my car... talk to carsheild claims department explain my problem and I get it nothing carsheild can help me but let mr transmission get right. It been almost 2months and they still not fix it and carsheild pay them... right now am not sure how to handle this.I done reach out to carsheild twice and also carsheild told a second person from carsheild went to look at it for the secondary transmission that was in stall. Then as carsheild and me talk on the phone it came mr.transmission provides the transmission. So that told me their was no secondary inspection was done.am I sure mr transmission already knew my car would not drive.I was call to pay for a computer. So I think mr.transmission try to pull carsheild and my leg and begin dishonest...next is for legal investigation to be precise...I don't see any thing I can do. But get legal advice. Mr.michael loza
Well not person fault.. but was told scene carsheild pay for my transmission to fix repair or replace it nothing they can do.. which it's not fix ..car is still at mr transmission shop...
I choose carsheild cause my car was getting order. I heard from many people I know said how great carsheild was. My job is an hourly way from home.an hour away back home. I think carsheild is great. And want to keep it..

Very helpful service rep, because I had no idea that my dealership would not accept my insurance and ended up spending $1000.
The service rep sent me a service location from my route to all of the locations in and near home or work.
