My starter gave out on my 2014 F-150. Once again, CarShield made my repair experience smooth and easy. What would have cost me nearly $500 was just my $100 deductible. So far I've saved thousands on repairs through CarShield.
To my jeep in because it was shutting down while driving. The technician said it was oil housing and oil sensor problems also the crankshaft sensor was failing. You guys said prove it. It didn't fail in the shop but it did three times the next day so. Now I got take it back 3days before Christmas. It shut down trying to merge onto the Pennsylvania Highway which is very dangerous. The crankshaft sensor is cover so why just cover it.
Change in Credit Card Billing. As it turned out I only had 2 more payments, and Customer Support person pointed out that she could give me a discount if I paid both now. Saved me a ton.

Attention they will tell you that they will fix your car and then they will never do it to me they have ruined it and because of them I had to sell the car be careful because the reviews you see are all paid sites just pay and they will give you the excellent reviews if you go go ahead and see the truth because there are real review sites and they don't have so many stars Alessio Sundas

The motor went bad in my 2007 Nissan Versa. I took it to Nissan dealership and Car shield put off repair making Nissan tear motor all the way apart and and car shield then called me that it had a cracked block and had the nerve to say that the block was not part of the engine! Meanwhile all this time almost a year in and after having to produce immaculate oil change and other maintenance records also paying over 2000 out of pocket rental car expenses until finally I just bought another car. Car shield finally agreed to pay half on the new motor. By the time it was all done and totally exhausted from phone call after phone call about this it was fixed. But now a little I've a year since I am paying out another 2,000 thousand bucks because the repair was poorly done. It's in another Nissan dealership and they said the motor mounts Nola were installed wrong and many other bolts missing and that some other damage was caused by this Dealership whom did the work for car shield. Fed up and want a good attorney if anyone know one let me know. *******306 fed up with Car shield they are making millions and don't live up to there commercial!

I called to make my December payment and to set up for my January automatic withdrawals, I was then charged again for the January payment, it was reversed back to my account and taken out again now I have another payment that is due for January the 29th to come out for January and I've been double charged, I would like to have that payment returned to my checking account I do not want to pay a double payment for the month of January thank you
The representative was very helpful in reversing the double charge that was made but turn around and another one was made I'm not understanding why the system or the communication is not being taken into consideration of this issue
It was highly recommended to me from my son and other friends stadium that car seal was absolutely the best. If I continue to have the issue with making payment, I am on a fixed income I will hopefully not have to look at other places for this insurance

I cannot say I am Happy or displeased. I have had no actual experience with Car Shield. All I know is that I have not found many places that accept Car Shield and for $99.99 per month for over two years, I have accepted a slightly lower monthly rate and truly hope that if and when I need services by Car Shield, that I will FIND a place reasonably close to my address and get fast and acceptable service!
She was polite but kept saying she would lower my monthly rate and give me the same services. I finally gave in to her! Byt I also wonder if spending $70.00 per month is reasonable when I still have no idea if I can find a place that ACCEPTS Car Shield. My dealership where I bought my car would NOT!
I have no idea, I probably saw the advertisement on TV and thought I'd best GET coverage for my ten year old car which has been an angel to me thus far!

My vehicle had a problem and car shield said it wasn't covered. Intake manifold failed and truck wasn't drivable. This part supplies fuel to motor. Garage reached out and they didn't receive any help. I reached out and no help. Car shield failed and i wouldn't support this company.

Some of the names given by Car Sheild no longer accept them for payment. Once I found a garage that I could trust, that accepted Car Shield, then it was very simple to get the work done and paid for.
Changed vehicles and had change the policy to the different vehicle. It was a simple thing to do.They were very cooperative.
Their advertisements are very good and when I contacted them it made good sense to take out the Policy.

Disappointed and frustrated to hear you don't cover all the cost for parts or labor or whatever the problem, we pay a premium and deductibles to find out we're not covered on everything

Title pretty much covers my experience. Car Shield wasn't there when needed. It is highly unlikely I will ever receive a portion of the premiums paid over the years.

My service agent initially told me that she had some difficulties getting approval for the service of the car. Next thing I know is that a schedule is in place and I was happy!

They was only able to answer general questions since I’ve been waiting a decision from the underwriter.

I canceled my credit card for automatic payment, due to fraud. I'm was inundated with calls about my payment. After I returned their call, gave them a new credit card, I still got calls!

On my first call with CS I was calling to find a place that might take my coverage, and they gave me that information. All is good. Then they told me I had to call them(CS/AC?) to get a "pre authorization for a diagnostic for my vehicle which I would have to pay in advance, BUT would get back at the end! One the net call FOUND OUT, THAT WAS NOT TRUE. Did not need approval for diagnostic and DO NOT GET ANY MONEY BACK FOR THE COST OF DIAGNOSTIC,
NOT GOOD they told me none of what the first guy said was true, I dot get the diagnostice fees back, my CS rep said I should owe XXX, my mechanic is saying twice that becasue CS is now allowing enough hrs to do the job. SO HOW DO YOU THINK I SHOULD FEEL.

They covered the repair minus my deductible and that was great but don't have a problem to far from home or the towing cost will kill you. I called a friend to trailer my Jeep home.
