I have 2 vehicles covered under car shield including my 19 year old Land Cruiser. It comes with specific & straight forward guidance if we ever break down. Very happy to know I'm covered in the future!
After many years (7) of being with your company and very little repair claims; now that a major repair is needed you'll have dropped the ball with a lot of red tape and inquisitions. I've paid my premiums like clockwork every month. I'm not at all happy with your service or professionalism towards fixing my car, you'll looking for the cheap route to solve my issues. Cheapness seems to be your best interest and not satisfying a seven (7) year customer!
Car Shield is not a company that has your best interest in mind. They say if your car breaks down they will fix certain items BUT when this does happen it's immediately a denial of your claim. They say that it was previously damaged and not covered. All I have to say is your car is starting to deter as soon as you drive off the dealer lot. So in essence "yes" it was breaking down when I got the "insurance" policy from them but I was driving the car and nothing seemed wrong. When I disputed their claim denial they made me get all of the paperwork for repairs that I had done in the past year and send them into the office. I had no repairs in the past year except for oil changes and such since the car was running fine. That was a problem to them and they made me keep paying the $109.00 monthly premium while all of this was going on back and forth. I couldn't stop paying because then they would've said I wasn't covered anymore. A catch 22 and a MAJOR SCAM. Read all reviews before purchasing. If I had I would NOT have bought this insurance.

Do NOT Buy! Very unusual there's no pricing information online, so had to fill out form and wait for someone to call. 6 Different Protection Specialist kept calling. Spoke to Cathy, who told me the call would be recorded, and transferred me to Shawn. Shawn gave me prices $183 per month for Silver plan to cover a 08 vehicle. He said the plan changes depending on the car. There is a $200 deductible. You have to wait 20 days and at least 500 miles before you can file a claim. No preexsting conditions are covered. I asked another question, and he just hung up on me. Another person called Skyler very nice, gave the sales pitch tried to connect me to another Production specialist, but I told her to take me off the list. This company just keeps calling. Do not give them your number! This company is out for money! You be better off saving your money in emergency fund, then later fixing the car on your own. No-one likes dealing with insurance companies. I'm glad he hung up, now after reading all the reviews on all the websites. FTC (Federal Trade Commision) should look into this company. Please read the reviews and listen, so you don't waste your money! Good Luck!

Carshield is as advertised. Took my car to any shop, for me it was the dealer. Dropped it off, submitted the claim online. Everything was covered and no hassle.

Purchased a vehicle this year, within 6months having my vehicle I reached to carshield and purchased a policy. During the time of 4 months into my policy, my vehicle had some mechanical issues. I immediately called carshield and they recommend two repair facilities. Carshield denied the service they required. I took my vehicle to a third repair facility, paid extra monies to teardown my vehicle and carshield denied my claim not only once, but twice! Now I'm stuck with no vehicle and car note. If I've would have done more research with other warranty companies, I would have NEVER used carshield. Customer service is very poor and the adjusters just don't care or willing to work with you. Like I said, I've purchased a vehicle and carshield ask for maintenance records on a vehicle that I've provided the car fax report in detail. They just didn't want to pay out the repair cost of $16,000. And I was given this amount directly from carshield. My last hope was shattered by rejection from carshield! By the way, when I did reach out to carshield, the thing they said was sorry things didn't work out! I purchased the platinum policy...
Good luck to those who just need minor repairs, carshield will not fix major repairs...
But they will continue to make you pay your premium!
Seems like my conversations were based on the companies greed. My repairs were denied twice after being escalated.

Unable to help me. Finally I was told to have the service manager to call Car care and get their costs, parts, labor ect. He talked to your company and gave me a discounted pric which was better.

I thought Car Shield was a good company and that I have paid 79.00 since 2015. The people I talked to were not that understanding. I did not appreciate the run around. I will tell you that Scenic motors is the best dealership I have ever used. In Surry County, north Carolina. Ithank you for cutting my costs, it helped a lot and I thank you for your help. However, I didn't know how car shield worked in trying to get the cost and price and lobor. I thought I took my booklet That I was issued and be taken to a dealership for repair, I now know different. If needed I hope you will consider this. I will use Scenic motor in the future and I hope you will honor my contract. Thank you for your help.

When I was in a financial hardship they worked with me so that I could keep my coverage. The representative I spoke with was extremely helpful and polite. I could not ask for better service!

Many dealers and mechanics do not accept Car Shield. They have stated that car shield does not pay what they are suppose to pay. I called car shield to get the name of aservice station to get my car repaired and the name I was given, stted when i CALLED THEM stated immeditely they do not deal with car shield. I have een paying for almost 2 years $89 per month. It is sad to know that Car Shield is not accepted at many repair shops.

Sorry you’re having trouble finding a local repair shop that accepts our coverage. Some shops refuse to take our coverage, however it is not for the reasons you may think. Some shops refuse to take any outside coverage because they want to be in charge of their own prices. There is a nationally recognized labor guide that tells repair facilities what to charge for what services and things like that. But it's up to each individual shop whether or not they want to follow it. With coverage like ours, we keep shops from overcharging our customers and shops don't always like that. We’re happy to stand on our record of servicing over 2 million customers over our 18 years in business. Not to mention our claims department pays out over $5 million in claims every month. If you need help finding other shops in your area, please give us a call.
No help in car rental department telling me there is no enterprise rental here there is one I don't want to pay out of pocket for the rental
