I have 2 vehicles covered under car shield including my 19 year old Land Cruiser. It comes with specific & straight forward guidance if we ever break down. Very happy to know I'm covered in the future!
After many years (7) of being with your company and very little repair claims; now that a major repair is needed you'll have dropped the ball with a lot of red tape and inquisitions. I've paid my premiums like clockwork every month. I'm not at all happy with your service or professionalism towards fixing my car, you'll looking for the cheap route to solve my issues. Cheapness seems to be your best interest and not satisfying a seven (7) year customer!
So my experience with Car Shield is very positive. I'm in the process of transitioning over to CS. I have been met with very friendly and professional staff.
Wanted to upgrade to CS. They gave me a deal I couldn't resist!

Was in Bolivar Mo on August 8,2024 when my battery died. I called to get a jump start & the representative told me he couldn't find anyone to jump start my car. He kept asking me about a tow & kept telling me the max Car Shield would pay for any roadside service was $125.00 I didn't need a tow & all I wanted was a jump start. My first experience with car shield was far from satisfactory.

Who would of thought a truck with 27,000 miles would need valve lifters but my chevy did-Car Shield took care of everything with my dealership-if your vehicle is out of warranty consider Car Shield-so glad I did
After getting a lowball trade-in value on my truck I decided to keep it-saw a commercial on tv and called-price was lower than I expected so I signed up-so glad I did

Left my car at Ford there was a problem with the wiring for the side view mirrors. Ford contacted CarShield took care of the bill we only had $100 deductible. It doesn't get any better than CarShield

Been with car shield since Aug 2020 never had an issue except for a part not being covered. I used it this time (altho I totally forgot I had it until the commercial came on) from then it was so easy and quick. My $700 job for repairs and rental, I only pd $100 deductible for repairs and nothing on my rental all I can say is WON'T GOD DO IT when u don't know how u can

My experience with car shield was very pleasant and simple to do and I feel a lot better knowing I have a good company to stand behind me in case something happens to my car. I'm on a fixed income and I couldn't afford if I had to pay a big repair bill it's nice that I have a good company behind me.
The reason I took car shield was I’ve talked to a few people that have got it and they all seem to like it. I checked with two or three mechanics, and they all said they had no problem dealing with them. That’s what sold me.

I took out my Powertrain Gold policy some 3 years ago when I bought a pre-owned Jeep Cherokee on finance. I still owe $2500 on it and when it recently overheated and needed repairs, I used my cover for the first time in that 3 years, after paying well over $3000 to the company. The repairs - new water pump, thermostat and serpentine belt - came to $586. Although CarShield did pay a portion of it, I was still left responsible for $285. I know that I had a $100 deductible, but am extremely disappointed to have had to pay anything more than that. Why? Why did I have to pay anything at all? As soon as I've posted this review, I'm cancelling my policy which has cost me thousands and not delivered, and the $110 a month is going to go into a piggy bank for any future work that needs done on the Jeep. I'd advise anyone else to do the same. They do not deliver what their ads say they will.

When you are on a fixed income and have your debits to be drawn on the date it should, debiting it earlier can cause problems with your accounts with other bills.
I told them by drafting my payment to them cause my account to be in default and I was told that if they payment did not go through they would contact me. I have been with this company for a long time and being a loyal customer should mean a lot.
I chose it because of the great options that they offer. I have never had a problem with any repairs.

The young man gave a presentation after which I told him I was not interested. He gave his pitch again and I had to be a little assertive when started again. I complemented him on sales pitch, then I pointed out I had politely told him I was interested twice and was now on the verge of not being polite. I TOTALLY BLAME HIS SUPERVISOR Or farther UP THE LADDER. I am now considering other options for my vehicle coverage.

I got an email stating I could get 25% off. He gave me a price and when I told him I needed it to start on my next payday, he increased the price 30$.
Asked them to cancel my request for the warranty. They told me they could pause my request until I was ready.
I’ve had it before on another vehicle and with my warranty expiring, wanted car shield.
