I have 2 vehicles covered under car shield including my 19 year old Land Cruiser. It comes with specific & straight forward guidance if we ever break down. Very happy to know I'm covered in the future!
Engine blew up and they only covered $1200 out of the $6000. My shop provided all the necessary details from cause of failure to freeze frame data. They refused to pay the entire claim. Even though all parts were covered under the contract. If you google this company you'll understand why there's a 10 million dollar lawsuit for deceptive ads. No shop or dealership wants to deal with CarShield either. They are difficult to work with and do not pay out. Save yourself and go with another company.

I am very dissatisfied with CarShield and will never be using them again or recommending them to anyone.
They were not helpful and would not listen to us or the service department where my car was taken.
I thought they were a good company, but obviously not.

Had automatic payments of $137 taken out of my check monthly. Drove my car to a license mechanic for a diagnostic test. I had a cylinder I misfire. I Filed for a claim. Car shield needed photos to see what kind of damages I had. The machanic shop said they need my authorization to tear down my motor for pictures that car shield needed. I had to pay $600 UPFRONT! Long story short may claim was DENIED just by looking at pictures. I spent over $300 on Uber while my vehicle was waiting on car shield approval I was suppose to receive reimbursement for rideshare that was denied and to TOP IT OFF MY CAR NO LONGER RUNS BECAUSE I HAVE NO DAMN MOTOR! CALLED TOW TRUCK COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE NEVER SENT TEXT MESSAGES OUT WITH Confirmation AND I WAITED FROM 9:42PM UNTIL 12:08am UNTIL TINKS TOWING SERVICE FINALLY ARRIVED. CAR SHIELD IS A RIPP OFF FAKE ADVERTISING AND RUDE WORKERS. IM CURRENTLY GETTING A LAWYER MY ENGINE IS ON THE BACKSEAT INSIDE OF MY CAR

Mercedes contacted them for the problems n they took care of some of the problems wrong with my car

I had RT.66 and they paid less on the work about a quarter (1/4) to three quarter (3/4). While I paid about three quarters (3/4) to almost all of the parts and labor charges.

I needed a tow to a local shop, and was very happy how easy it was to deal with customer support to accomplish this task
I needed a company that helps with my car service needs, and car shield was awesome in their service and no Hassel and professional. The representative was spot on in finding a tow service and noticed the price difference with allowing me to choose the price best for my need.
