I ordered an egift card for a friend and had it sent to their email. It was quick and simple. My friend received the gift card and used it to purchase items within the next couple days. I had no trouble purchasing the egift card for a department store and my friend had no trouble using it. Would recommend.

I ordered 2 Ulta gift cards on 12-3-21. Never received a confirmation but they made sure to charge my credit card. When I called on 12-7-21 to inquire about not receiving confirmation of purchase email. It literally took over an hour to speak to an actual agent after being transferred multiple times. I received the email and I called 12/14/21 to inquire as to why my purchase indicates it still in process when they had no problem processing my payment in a timely fashion. This company would rather tell me to cancel my purchase and go to the store to purchase my gift cards because of Covid things are behind. We have been dealing with Covid over a year now and this is still the cop out. This company is a damn joke and I will never and I mean never deal with this company again. I caution every one purchasing gift cards to make sure this company is NOT the one sending your purchase.

Took $70 worth of Roblox credit from me and refused to give me a refund this is so unfair since this is my son's birthday present and he has to wake up with no present.

I was given a Christmas gift of 50 dollars that was redeemable through CashStar. Chose Applebees as my redeem choice through CashStar and had vouchers printed that had a number on it called a challenge key code. Went to Applebees to redeem and the challenge key is not recognized as valid! Called and corresponded with Cash Star and they cannot find my email nor codes that show I have these vouchers! They steal your money, don't give a crap about your loss. Challenge keys do not work, this piece of paper with the key codes on them have not been out of my possession! POS rip off company. Do not use them. Dishonest thieves! Enclosed are proof of purchase photos which you can see the challenge code, I'm not worried, the codes don't work.

They sell gift cards for companies like FIVEGUYS but have little or no support when the cards don't work or partially work. Then it just turns into everyone pointing fingers at each other (like fiveguys pointing at cashstar and the fiveguys purchased pos system PAR/Brink. What a mess. If you see ANY link to cashstar on a gift card to plan to buy... run away and stay away. Avoid frustration.

1. Never received 2. Told me give it 30 days! What?! 3. No one responded when spoke to c/s they told me they need pass on info to customer support. Refund took FOREVER! When I call cs you have to speak to someone (middle man) who has to create ticker send info to cs support. U will never speak directly to gift card cs if u have issues

Placed an order for an online seamless gift card for the amount of $50. I got the confirmation after entering my credit card info, but never the email with the gift card- tried to contact customer service, the number on the website was not in service so searched around for other cash star contact numbers. It would ring, then go to voicemail. I have left countless voicemails and emails and still have not heard back. It's been weeks so now I will have to dispute through my credit card. HORRIBLE! The company is making money through scam!

I was supposed to receive a $150 credit from Timberland Boots for poor quality products; however, the credit was given to someone else who cashed it in a store in California. Neither Timberland nor CashStar will do anything about this case of fraud.

I received an email from what I thought was Firebirds Restaurant to purchase gift cards and for every $100 spent, you receive a $20 bonus. I thought these would make perfect gifts for Christmas. I received the four $25 certs I ordered but no card for the $20 bonus. Upon calling I am told the bonus is in electronic format - despite my selected choice to have them received in hard copy format during the order process. I was told to check my email. Upon going back I find the email with two separate $10 electronic certificate that expire DEC 30,2020! This defeats the purpose for buying them as I wanted to give them as gifts. I call and am told no refunds and they cannot convert the bonus to hard copy format. Like seriously? They said they would send in a ticket of escalation and could take up to two days to get back to me with an answer. Let's put it this way, if I am not refunded, I will be disputing this charge with my bank and if that doesn't work I will file in small claims court.

Never buy from this company. I purchased a $150 Home Depot gift card (through their website) for a holiday gift. I received several confirmation emails and a shipping confirmation but the gift card never came. I tried to contact Home Depot customer service and they were unresponsive the first time. The second time they told me they had no record of my purchase and that I would have to contact CashStar directly. CashStar was extremely difficult to get a hold of and told me they had a record of the gift card being sent out so there was nothing they could do. I will never buy another gift card from this company or the Home Depot.

I ordered a gift card from $#*!s Sporting Goods. Never got the confirmation but my credit card was billed. I called $#*!s and they had no record so I disputed the charge. Never did they tell me it was coming from Cash Star. I ordered again, got the confirmation. It wasn't shipped until 6 days later. Now 8 days later I still don't have the card. I called, waited forever and all they could tell me it was shipped, no tracking number. I'm doubting i'll get this in time for Christmas. Never again.

I accidentally reloaded a Banana Republic gift card on their website because my computer auto-populated my credit card and I called to have it refunded. They said they'd take care of it in 10 days. Nothing. Then I call back again after 10 days, they said they'd take care of it in another 10 days. Nothing again. They tell me to contact Banana and Banana tells me to contact them and no one has refunded my $250. HORRIBLE service. They are stealing fro me.

Not only did the gift card not work for my 13 year old nephew, cashstar wouldn't issue me a refund. I disputed the charge with my bank and two weeks later cashstar refunded me the $50. Stay away! I am not sure how they are not shut down.

Cashstar is literally a scam. My friend gifted me premium on roblox using cashstar platform yet cashstar failed to send me an email or anything informing me i had gotten the 10$ premium. I seriously hope roblox gets sued for partnering with an untrusted company/source.

I bought an Office Depot gift card through them. I was under the impression I was buying through Office Depot. Cash Star said I'd receive a notice when the card(email) was opened up. I never received a notice. My friend never received the card.
AFter many failed phone calls where the line mysteriously cut off, i was able to get through to somebody. They told me there was "no refunds". Excuse me... I paid $50 and my friend never received anything... a Valentine's Day gift... she still haven't received it as of February 18th. I want MY MONEY BACK!

Know I'm going to dispute the charge and post as many bad reviews as possible about their company. The guy assured me somebody would be calling me back. I have yet to get that phone call.

I am going to be a thorn in their sides until I get my money back.

This is a huge company. After reading the reviews below, a class-action needs to be brought against these criminals.
