Unlike espn, espn 2, TBS, and TNT, they don't posts the freakin score on the screen. It's 2017 CBS, what the hell!
Best fantasy site hands down! The fantasy leagues are so customizable that it is stupid to not pay the money for the features it has. Anything from draft and draft order, waiver, free agents, scoring system. I could go on for days. Customer service is getting better for CBS Sports as well this past year.
The trading process is awful at CBS. If you play in a public league all it takes is 4 teams to object and then the trade goes to some random commissioner that can veto a trade without providing any justification or reasoning. It s an unfair process. There is no timeframe for commissioners to make decisions. Thus, they can hold up a trade or hold off on approving it for a period of time that can cause you other issues, like adding/dropping players. I like CBS s analysts like Dave and Jamey, but the trade process and unfairness of it is reason enough for me to recommend you look elsewhere to play.
Zero stars actually. Fantasy sports are incredibly poor here. You spend a whole season grinding it out(and that's how it is in fantasy baseball) only to find the site down when you need to set your lineup. Their player pages are amateurish, the comments sometimes not even getting something as basic as a player's handedness correct. The mobile app is an absolute joke, having only the most basic usability. And they're ridiculously expensive, taking as much as 25% of league fees when better sites such as ESPN are free.
I am a loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. How dare you stop of the Sunday game to go to another team. That really sucks! Wake up CBS!
I called and cancelled my subscription the same day I signed up, I only wanted to watch one game. They told me they cancelled the subscription but the next month I was billed again.
Of course they told me they had no record of canceling and would not give me a refund.
Piece of advise always get a name, id and some sort of confirmation that they actually did cancel your subscription. They were also very rude.
Fan of their information and breaking news!
Their fantasy sites are good to very good, but charge very high rates, considering you can get 80-90% of the same experiences elsewhere (ESPN, for example) for free.
On the fantasy side, I guess you have to affix a value to features and see if they are essential for you.
I think CBS has made great strides in their timely content in the last 6-12 months and I think this site reflects that.
Would be a higher rating except for their pricy fantasy stuff.
To sign up for watching live sports is easy and they charge your credit right away. The video for most college baseball games is poor to average and often starts late or there are often problems with the feed. Be careful there is very little information online about your account and it is very difficult to figure out how to cancel a subscription. I canceled through my university website and got a conformation that my subscription was cancelled. I only had one log in and was able to watch all cbs video content. I was billed the next month and used the web interface to attempt to get a refund and their response was I did not cancel my other account. I was only aware of one account and only had one log in. They sent me another cancelation e-mail and refused to refund the month they billed me after my original cancelation request. The web interface is the only method of contact and the responses from those inquiries were rude and they tried to make me feel like I was not to smart. I am smart enough not to ever do business with them again.
This site was, at one time, an excellent site. Even though, periodically, throughout the years they have made both unnecessary changes and necessary changes but with an awful implementation. This time they have gone too far. The site is the antithesis of user-friendly.
Lots of different types of coverage for all different sports, especially with different reporters. It's a one-stop website for all sports needs and definitely should be checked often. The writers, for the most part, come up with solid articles and have a good grasp of the subject.
Answer: No CBS sports sucks and has more dead air than all other carriers put together and has the worst sports personalities on tv. CBS sucks
