CentricAir is a maker of whole house fans, in a range of capacities for homes of different sizes. Two things make this company a standout. First, their product is practically a necessity from an energy-efficient home-cooling perpsective, and a remarkably cost-effective alternative to air conditioning. Second, they CARE about your customer experience and will bend over backwards to ensure a successful installation if you go the DIY route (which IS doable, though you may need an electrician for an attic outlet if you don't already have one; many professional installers also carry their fans). I can't vouch that their pricing is necessarily cheaper than everyone else's, but theirs IS a quality product and IMO competitively priced. My fan is working great, wasn't that hard to install, and I'd buy it again (SOONER!). They are very responsive to purchase inquiries and to any issues or questions which might arise during installation, and take full responsibility for everything shipping-related should there be any damage.
