They have a maintenance man that 1 is all over the blonde headed front desk clerk. 2 is a tier 3 sex offender. 3 lives on the property as part of his parole. 4 is a violent sex offered 5 should not be around your children when you have to stay at the motel. I will be sure to spread the word on this issue until he is removed from the property. There is no excuse for this kind of person being in the hotel business.
Made a reservation for a room at the MainStay Suites Greensboro approximately 2 weeks before my arrival. Arrived there in the evening and was told that no room was available. I received no advance notification in spite of them having my phone number and email address. No effort was made by the hotel staff to find me replacement accommodations. When I arrived there was no one at the front desk. I rang the bell and yelled hello and no response. I called the hotel number and someone finally appeared.
We travel a lot and tried Choice a few times--but we are done with these properties. From a Quality Inn with a door that wouldn't lock, to a Woodspring Suites that closes the office after 10:00 p.m. (that wasn't disclosed when I made the reservation), to so many issues at another Quality in Canton Texas that we had to check out in the middle of the night, this chain is the worst. I still don't know if I will get my money back from the Woodspring in Ft. Worth at 4101 E California Pkwy. Filed complaint with FTC and Better Business Bureau. We are now regular customers with their biggest competitor.
They try and rip off for a room on a par with motel 6 then don't want to give you points upon checkout I was assured that I was going to get my points lie 1 then was told I received gift lie 2 then was told I booked rate for no points lie 3 they have no rate on app you can look it up no problem 9474 for outdated motel ran by thief's is a bit too much Amanda I hope is drug off in handcuffs rude and obnoxious

I rented a room for 2 nights at the quality inn suites in Saint Petersburg through priceline where I was able to obtain a very good deal. Upon checking in you pay an additional $2 hotel fee and also a $50 deposit that is refundable. The hotel only allowed entrance and exit through the lobby and all other entrances and exits were closed off. They had a curfew of 10pm. Upon check out I was advised I'd get my deposit back. After 8 days I call the hotel to find out abut my deposit and was advised that my deposit was kept because a pillow and sheet were taken which is NOT TRUE. You literally must walk through the lobby with your belongings to exit. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had to endure this from Quality Inn on 34th street and 14th avenue north in saint Petersburg florida but I will NOT EVER use another choice hotel because they didn't seem to care either after contacting customer service at *******800.
This dump shows a 4 star rating on Choice Hotels site! Obviously written by the ones who live here! Don't bother stopping here and spending your money, unless you're here to party, make some money, etc.
Couple stood outside my door fighting for 2 hours, (2:30 am-4:30 am). Homeless sleep under stairwell and roam parking lot trying to sell items to guests. They are also crawling under cars, apparently to find cigarettes. Housekeeping vacuuming upstairs, my ceiling was vibrating. It's a wed night, so loud and disruptive. Front desk has cameras in office, they can hear the yelling, the fighting, they can see the homeless following guests, yet do nothing. I should have saved my $72.00 and just slept in my car in parking lot. (Pics) 1 st column, stairwell for homeless, tray where ice bucket sits, dirty iron, inside bedside table, dirty, remote, 2 nd column, stairwell in view of office, ironing board, table by window, unused by me, but dirty, bed with holes in linens. Walls are paper thin, can hear normal speaking voices next to me.
What an expensive sleepless night it has been. I couldn't even shower, strings of black hair in tub, and went and bought bleach and cheap towels to clean toilet seat and ones to sit on.

NEVER AGAIN mold in bath tube, toilet seat was cracked they glued over then spray painted over, bedding was wet and stained, A/c was so noisy It shook the window it was under, bathroom shampoo was used open bottle, Secure door are always open, elevator rug is so nasty you do not want to step in, they do not serve breakfast or have a pool that functions. Asked if they had another room but no they are full and I will lose my payment. So cheap they even use the old room key paper holder over and just cross out the the number of the previous card holder and give it to the next guest.
I would love to be able to leave good feedback, but I have found myself extremely disappointed with this company and would suggest you avoid booking through this site. I booked a hotel for March, but had an unexpected car accident that left me medically unable to make the trip. Choice Hotels (and the Quality Inn in Savannah) both showed zero sympathy and suggested in the future I read the terms and conditions more closely, even though they agreed that it was impossible for me to have foreseen my accident, I am still on the hook for both nights. FIND ANOTHER SITE TO USE FOR YOUR BOOKINGS! Save yourself the hassle.

I'm a professional who travels on business very frequently. I'm a diamond member with choice rewards. My stay in April of this year was in Edinburgh South Texas at the Mainstay hotel. I stayed for five evenings. Where is the state was fine when I went to check out I was told that housekeeping found that I had broken a glass, and many of the dishes were missing.
This is Simply is NOT the case. I did, break a small glass which I am more than happy to replace and to pay for. However, the notion that any dishes were vanished is a lie. I was the only person staying there at the hotel, and I did not take anything out of the room at any point.
Unfortunately, I did not take photos or an inventory of the few dishes that were in the kitchen upon my arrival. I would recommend for anyone and everyone to do so. After trying to reason with the management, they told me that I could not stay at the hotel again until I paid the $35 (for the broken glass). This was totally insulting. If I had been responsible, I would have paid for it all day long…The principal of the matter is ridiculous. I would stay clear of this hotel if I were you.
I looked up the owners information and emailed him directly explaining the case because I was so offended… And I received zero response. I guess they are desperate for money, and so they are okay with ripping their clientele off.

His is our second day at this hotel, in Stockbridge, Atlanta. First we reached very early so, we had the do not disturb sign outside our door. Second day we made sure there was no do not disturb sign outside our door and we left. When we came back, the beds were not made, bins were not emptied and no new towels. When we asked the front desk, we were told they don't have a single towel. Can you believe that such a big hotel and no towel? The breakfast timings were 6am to 9am. We went around 8am and there were no eggs. It seems that it is on first come first serve basis. We have been in other hotels but never had this problem before. We will come back and the bins will be empty, beds will be made and there will be new towels with soap and shampoo.

Horrible Scary Night… Someone Enter my room with a keep to my door as I was getting in the Shower… So I called the front desk just to here them say they would keep a eye out on things I was up all night I couldn't sleep. The only reason I didn't check out was because I'm not from there and it was where else to stay all the hotels was booked up… Beside that they had nasty insects…I'm highly disappointed I was not safe!
I was given five different prices for the same hotel in the same room for the same dates when I called. And none of those prices matched when you search on the app or website. Upon talking to three different people to try to figure out why none of this was matching up they had no answers for me. I wanted transferred me to what they said was quality control because I wanted to talk to a manager and that's all they had was quality control supposedly. That person looked at exactly what I was talking about and gave me a sixth price. All said there's nothing they can do they see what I'm seeing but that's the price that was coming up on their end or I should say prices because it was plural at different times in this hour and 15 minute conversation to try to figure it out. All in all nothing got figured out I didn't settle for the higher price because I think it's very bad business to offer one thing and deliver another and I simply don't trust him. I would not recommend using them. If I could give less than a one I absolutely would

No other hotel charges a $100 breakage fee, then refunds it. This was at the Clarion Inn in Fairborn, OH. For us, the charge fell in different billing cycles.
I never stayed at one of the choice hotels before but I worked for the one on Romona Blvd.in Jacksonville, Florida and as a guest checked out I went to go pull the linen I saw a bed bug so I killed and I immediately informed my manager which name is Mary she told another housekeeper to go look in the room name Jack and he told me that it's fine so they made me clean the room instead
Of calling the exterminator poor bad management full of bed bugs so examine all of your rooms and I was also working there when a lady got bite all up by bedbugs it was the same room 212 on the second floor I recommend you spend your money else where!
I had a simple fix they offered 15% off in there app t that did not work I also was supposed to receive more points and I was on the phone for over a whole hour the phone hung up and nothing was done I had to call back to get this action redone again with the escalation of a collection an app I only lost points but I lost my reservation customer service was horrible that I had to ask for manager to repeat myself twice I lost out in the situation because of something they did not do and because of their issues and their faults when it could have been fixed within the first 15 minutes I don't think that I still have lost or something that is their accountability
Booked our wedding and reception with their Belmont, WI establishment. Booked the venue back in early March 2017 and put down a substantial deposit. When went back in early January 2018 to go over decorations and put another payment down, we were told that our August 11,2018 date would have to be moved to a new date or moved to a new venue completely because corporate office decided to put in new air conditioning units for that date and following weekend (meaning another couple had to move their wedding also). We received no letters or emails explaining why the change and when sent personal letters (3) and numerous emails, got no response. Since moving the date, we have lost a few attendants and many guests because of prior weddings and commitments. Now we lost our photographer and photo booth. And still nothing from the corporate office, not even an apology or a reason for screwing us over. We signed a contract back in March 2017, and would have lost it if we cancelled. How is it that Choice Hotels can break a signed contract and have no repercussions. It seems we the customer are ones that get screwed and they could care less. Never will I stay in a Choice Hotel after this fiasco. Like I said their corporate office is run by a bunch of cowards who didn't have dignancy to at least make an effort to explain what happened and apologize.

Choice hotels have no none customer service they are rude pigs they are run by rude CEO hotels are leaving them at least 4/5 a day i know a very rich woman who would not allow their CEO to stay at her luxery hotel in Miami do not stay with them or any of their property's there are plenty of other motels to stay at if you complain about them they just blackball you one owner is suing them for running a construction company off they moved to a windham hotel next door

When it comes to customer service they have none whatsoever and elderly lady fell and hurt herself in the hospital parking lot they security guard and a employee of the hospital and a lady just sitting inside her car so happens to be a nursing assistant helps the lady in the hotel to make sure she ok and that other lady was trying to get water and Kleenex for the elderly lady and the lady behind the counter a supervisor act like she wasn't concerned about what going on didn't want to give the young lady the water and Kleenex trying to hurry and get rid of her saying come back at noon.Now that was unprofessional people who runs the company in Shreveport on Sanford Ave The Sleep Inn the cooperation need to clear out all those ghetto unprofessional employees who work there no stars from me and will never get anymore of my business until they get professional workers don't deserve any stars

I stayed at Econolodge in Salt Lake City in March 2018 and they double charged me. The staff has given me the runaround for five months and my last experience was with a very belligerant clerk that stated that they were refusing to pay me back the double charge portion. Corporate headquarters is also attempting to dismiss me and claiming that the receipt that Econolodge gave me that has the word "adjustment" to Credit Card on it when they made me pay again in cash constitutes actual payment to my account. My bank records clearly show no refund was ever made. Corporate Choice Hotels was also asked to email my bank and simply state that their so-called "receipt" means "refund" and then the bank would take care of it all through their fraud department. Corporate Choice Hotels, parent company of Econolodge, will not do such a simple thing via their email to me and want to redirect me back to the clerks that, in my opinion, stole the money. I also have the manager who double charged me on a three way conference call with my Bank's fraud department a couple of months later where the manager admits on a recorded line that the refund was never made back to my back. Corporate after being told this, has done absolutely nothing to refund my money. This is my experience with Choice Hotels and Econolodge and how I feel about the matter.
I got a job there at the end of 2014 and this is the 3rd time I've worked there doing housekeeping I've always left there on good terms that's why I've worked there 3 times now but the GM has ALWAYS been super fair with me and VERY flexible with my hours and with my personal and home needs with me needing certain days off work and sometimes even days off work last minute! He's ALWAYS worked with me and helped me figure it out the only thing I don't care for is all the talking about other employees drama but that's going to be ANYWHERE you work that's nothing but a whole bunch of women working together every day lol but other than that I love working there
