They have a maintenance man that 1 is all over the blonde headed front desk clerk. 2 is a tier 3 sex offender. 3 lives on the property as part of his parole. 4 is a violent sex offered 5 should not be around your children when you have to stay at the motel. I will be sure to spread the word on this issue until he is removed from the property. There is no excuse for this kind of person being in the hotel business.
Made a reservation for a room at the MainStay Suites Greensboro approximately 2 weeks before my arrival. Arrived there in the evening and was told that no room was available. I received no advance notification in spite of them having my phone number and email address. No effort was made by the hotel staff to find me replacement accommodations. When I arrived there was no one at the front desk. I rang the bell and yelled hello and no response. I called the hotel number and someone finally appeared.

Booked a room at the Quality Inn in Chandler AZ for 3/23/24. The room was unacceptable, the bathroom sink and counter were falling off the wall. The "queen" bed was a "glorified" double roll-away type of bed.
The front desk staff offered another room, however, the 11-year-old was fearful of this hotel and asked to go somewhere else.
Now, comes trying to get a refund...
First, the staff stated there was nothing wrong with the room and we were a no-show. Several days later the same staff member had pictures of the room that verified the complaints. The front desk manager acknowledged their mistake and promised a full refund of $201.44. Then, the owner, who approved all refunds was on vacation, and as soon as he got back, I would get my refund. Several days later I called, and they were waiting for the owner who should be in town any time now. Today is 5/10/24 and still no refund!
Now for the corporate office incompetency - It is not the job of the complaint department to resolve issues! You get a call center outside the US, staff are well trained to sound sympathetic and eager to assist. I called 4 times and explained in detail my complaint. I had the same rhetoric repeated to me every time. I was told someone would call after 72 hours with an update, never happened! I was told 2 times the hotel would be notified of the complaint, never happened! I found that out on the 3rd call! On the 5th call, I demanded to speak to a manager who told me this department doesn't handle refund complaints! I would have to go to the owner of the hotel!
Seriously! It appears that Choice Hotels hopes complaining customers just give up and go away...
Terrible, terrible excuse for customer service!
This membership and reward program is very poor. After 1 year of sending our employees to this location, over 15 stays were missed. On top of this, they mixed my personal name with my business. When i called them to rectify the names, the customer service removed the company name completely. I called, again, to put it back on invoices for tax purposes and they couldn't anymore. They asked that we send an email to another department with Driver's license and more time-consuming. After over a year of sending crews regularly we get this service...
Tip for consumers:
The hotel value is good for the price. The membership, rewards service, and logistics is not good.

We checked in to our room and it was not very clean. There were stains on the sheets that looked like fingernail polish, The walls were dirty and we found a bar of soap with hair on it in the shower,! Would have left, but we were so tired from our trip that we stayed!Worst hotel room we've had in a really long time!

We are long time members of Choice Hotels and have always been pleased with the accommodations and price. We just experienced our first big disappointment at the Comfort Inn in Cornwall. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, beds were clean. Everything else left much to be desired! Building is badly in need of updating, rooms are small and cramped, parking not great, even the lamps were outdated, not working properly. We will not stay there again.
My husband and I travel a great deal and usually stay in other hotel chain. We were very disappointed with our stay at the Choice Comfort Inn and will never stay again. Lobby looked good when we arrived. Hall ways were dirty, thread bear rugs, rooms looked clean but carpet was very dirty. Breakfast was poor arrived 45 mins before service was to end found very little left including plates forks coffee and hot water. While cleaning staff seemed friendly during our 5 day stay no one provided service. We had to take dirty towels to the front desk to exchange for clean. I guess they though we might steel them. Sheets and mattress pads were too small for the beds, they popped off the seconds after you moved we found ourselves sleeping on a plastic mattress cover that was ripped in many places. Very uncomfortable 5 nights of sleep!
Front desk staff was friendly upon arrival, after
That and with each personal change, not so much.

Hotel Stay comfort Inn by choice
This hotel is old and filthy. I asked to move or refund my reservation and was denied. Next to an adult video store as well as the freeway. The traffic noise is very loud. I was in a renovated room which was filled with old chipped up furniture. The quality of renovation was shockingly poor. Did I mention no A/C in the halls. Staff can be found out front every morning smoking. Breakfast is okay but they must pay their staff poorly as a tip jar was put out. The only pleasant staff member that was presentable worked in the breakfast area. 2 star motel at its best.
Tip for consumers:
Book elsewhere

The toilet is filthy around outside, the thermostat for a/c is broken so your guess at temp, burn up first night, carpet dirty, stand in 6 inches of water to shower because drain is slow, shower head has maybe a third of holes still open
This is the first consumer review I have ever written but my experience with this hotel was so awful I'm taking the time to write this.
I was given a king suite with blood on the comforter, zero hangers, one bath towel and an overall filthy room. The "breakfast buffet" was non-existent and the coffee was terrible. The front desk receptionist refused to help me get WiFi and I had to beg for a closet hanger for my dress.
The hotel staff appeared completely stoned or then they were just ignorant on how to treat customers and run a hotel.
Do not stay at this hotel. S
I'm a choice hotel employee for another motel and use my discounts frequently. Was told by owner that only one room is allowed with discount and he could cancel my room if he wanted to but he would be nice and let us get both rooms tonight. Owner came off hostile at first until he learned I was an employee of choice. Got to the first room desk chair was broke, standing lamp was broke, dresser drawer was broke, 4"×4" burn in the carpet and there were empty beer bottles left in the room. Would not recommend this motel yo anyone even for the employee discount.
I booked a room at comfort suites in Bloomberg, PA. The WORST experience of my 60 years! The hotel was under full construction. When I called the customer service line, 3 different agents sent me to "customer service". One hung up on me.
I will never stay in one of their hotels again. Absolutely disgusting.
This Hotel left us with no place to stay. We arrived to find out they would not let us stay. Sprinkler system issue. We never got a call - No email. Just No place to stay and no one seemed to care. All the other hotels were either booked or triple the price because of last minute. We ended up driving home. Put a complete damper on our weekend in Maine.

Worst experience at a hotel dirty, insects all over flow, dirty rag on shower and daughter was bit by a spider multiple times on here legs they gave us a new room and the room was just as bad. Never experienced anything like this ever was very disappointed. I also have plenty of pictures as well.
Nasty, didn't have no wash clothes. Mode everywhere, TV didn't work, water didn't get hot, coffee maker didn't work, phone didn't work. Just a mess. No one working there would help. The manager was like I tell everyone to call voice and complain cause the new owners don't care and won't do anything
Quality Inn Bensalem PA was filthy and had bugs. Manager was "not in". Customer service offered points but you can't use them. Put on hold for over an hour. Stay away from Choice Hotels. Too many competitors.
My husband and I are in our 70's. We stayed at the Quality Inn in Tarpon Springs, Fla. On Wed Feb 6,2019. We arrived to find that the hotel was undergoing "renovations". We had to walk down a long hallway where all the carpeting had been ripped out. There was dust and dirt everywhere! We had to try to jump over freshly applied concrete patches just to get to the room. I coughed for almost an hour after inhaling this crap. We believe the hotel should have let us know ahead of time what we were getting into. For health reasons if nothing else. Tried calling the Choice customer service, but they just blew me off! Really?
The Choice Privileges MasterCard part of Choice Hotels seems alright.
60K Rewards points ( that's like 4 free stays) after getting their plastic card... & spending on a new set of tires or something. Their website is huge & confusing... Choice App is a bit more user friendly. Make reservations in the hotel parking lot... get confirmed... then check in.
Another pleasant stay for us at this wonderful location! Staff very friendly & helpful upon checking in last eve. 07/08/15. And delicious fresh made cookies awaiting arrivals. Wow!
You'll find a nice, clean room to retire and upon waking in the morning an awesome breakfast! The kitchen cook, Rose does a super job of having things filled and in a presentable way that makes you want to challenge your tastebuds. Aroma of bacon greets you in the morning.
Traveling this way, make this a sure overnite stop. Lancaster County North Comfort Inn At Denver Pa is the one you want. Enjoy.
I enjoyed my stay, David was very helpful during my check in. Only negatives, a pill was on the floor in my room and my 2 year old found it, the floor is very dirty and doesn't seem to have been shampooed in a very long time. And the room doesn't have a refrigerator or or microwave. Which is something I know they are working on. All staff was very helpful and friendly regardless of the few things that need some attention.
They frequently have promotions advertising if you meet certain criteria you will get one free night's stay. That is deceptive at best. I more than met at least one of the promotions--staying longer at each place than the minimum required. I got 5000 bonus points. The minimum required for one free night is 8000 points. Most require well in excess of 10,000 points. Thank you Choice for this promotion. It did not get me a free night. It got me at best 5/8 of a free night and likely far less.
Tip for consumers:
The loyalty program is not very good.
I stayed at the Comfort Inn located at 8801 Loch Raven Blvd Towson, MD *******. Mr. Nick general. Manager and his staff treated me like family The rates were good. Hotel clean breakfast selection is awesome. I want give the hotel a 10, but there is no option.

It was a wonderful experience. Everything in the room was brand new. Loved the bathroom. I appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was friendly and just downright nice. I would also like to add that the breakfast was wonderful. Tasty and well-organized. We feel lucky to have found this place for our stay in western North Carolina.
So I am staying at the comfort Inn and the drapes are only for decoration. I can't close them for privacy and I am facing the main street, and I will be dealing with the morning sun waking me in the morning! I can't believe this! Sooo disappointed, upset. This is crazy for a hotel to do, let alone a big name one. Ugh ugh ugh! Choice hotel, really?!
