I joined CF two months after I broke up with my GF. I decided to be picky and choose a nice Filipino woman as a life partner as I have had friends who married beautiful women from this website.

At first, I thought I could use it without paying: checking the girls name and search on FB based on location. It turned out counterproductive. So, I decided to risk paying the 97$ but just for a month. I am kind of cost sensitive. So, my aim was to message as many girls as possible with filters like: "bachelor", "no kids" etc. I sent message to over 40 girls and got reply from 20. Of which, I video chatted with 7. These girls is where I found my now girlfriend and we are going to marry next year.

Here's the thing: study the girls well. In my call with them I could sense girls that are materialist, I chatted with hardworking women who really want a relationship, but they are career oriented. I chatted with others who would take time to reply because of their busy lifestyle (having two jobs).

The one I found was just wanted I wanted: simple, humble, educated and young. She is very fun and interesting.

Another story in these video calls: I chatted with one cute girl that unfortunately she had a baby daughter, 3 months old. I was very close to paying for a membership and giving it chance; however, after doing some research, I decided to give it a pass. I will agree with a lot of the reviews in many respects, especially that the best way to meet someone is to go to the Philippines. Chances of meeting that special someone online are not as high as they make you think. Customer Service seems to be very helpful and very nice, however the selection of women is no different then you would find on any other website. It's very easy to see if you do some searches, that less than 1% of the members are verified. In addition less than a third are even active within the past 60 days. I did a search which resulted in 60,000 matches. Out of the 60,000 matches 90 were verified and 20 were active within the past 60 days. Again, verification is optional, and there's nothing to prevent insincere women or scammers to post female profiles. The women do not have to pay therefore there is no deterrent. The percentage of responses I received as well as those who initiated contact is definitely not worth a paid membership. Again, I think finding someone online is more the exception than the norm. A trip to the Philippines is the best way to go. Meet people in person

After joining the website and becoming a paying member you will receive a call from an agent from the company. This is just days after joining. The call will last almost an hour, it is a good call with thorough info to help you navigate through the website.So at this point they ask you to leave a review. This is why so many reviews say just joined etc. To know how well a customer feels about the service of the website you need to look for "Testimonial" review which would be after they have been here for months or successfully found a lady. The review that we are asked to write just days after joining cannot be a realistic review, but only a review of the phone call and a few days of testing the website.
The phone call with Joyce was great, she did a great job, and was very thorough, 5 stars!

Not all are messages (of course), and many of the women don't fit my criteria, and many more have been proven to be dishonest or fakes (but CF does a good job at removing those profiles). For the first time I tried an online dating site--"Christian Filipina" and I can tell you without reservation that it was a completely disappointment. They let you join the site for free--of course. Hundreds of women claiming they "want to meet you." You try to respond and send a message but they don't get to read your message because they (the administration) put a "lock" on your message; so it is a waste of time. The women check your profile, send you a "wink" and a message. The messages are all the same because they are selected from a pool of already tailored and pre-arranged messages and they read something like this: "I'd like to get to know you but I have not upgrade yet." Which means that in order for you to actually communicate with the presumed lady, and for her to be able to "unlock" your messages, you have to "UPGRADE." That means, you'd have to throw in $1576! A round trip to the Philippines cost only between $650-$800! And for all you know, the "lady" you may be talking to, could very well be and old lady or even a dude setting behind a computer. That chunk of money you pay guarantees nothing! Don't let the title "CHRISTIAN" before the word "FILIPINA" fool you. The internet is a jungle full of predators. Dating sites--I don't care what the name is and whatever they claim--is a scam!

I don't think there's too many Christians in the Philippines every other girl ask you for money after you start a chat with them then if you don't give them money they just disappear I would never recommend the site to anyone maybe go to the Philippines and meet someone but this site SUCKS

I always do research about websites before I decide to join or not and Christian Filipina was no exception. Heard nothing but good news about the site. Decided to join despite the price (initial fee of $97 and $57 per month after. Don't be fooled by the fact that women out number men on the site as most are not serious about a relationship. To give you one example I had an exchange of messages with this one woman and for whatever reason she stopped responding. When asked what was the matter she said she was tired (tired for over 3 days?) but insisted she would chat with me the next day.

I even told her it wouldn't hurt my feelings if you didn't want to talk with me any more. But she still insisted she would talk with me the next day. Needless to say, to no surprise to me at all she hasn't messaged me since. This was just one of many examples I've had with the women on this site. Even the most of the women who wink or message you first will eventually stop corresponding with you. I am still messaging two other women but I am not expecting much given the previous several women who simply stopped.

The fact is most of these women think this is Facebook or some other mindless social media site even though it is for marriage (supposedly).
