I need to update my review on Chloe. She brought my 8 wk old Maltese puppy, Bentley, from Houston to Myrtle Beach, SC. Not only did Chloe take extra precautions regarding his health because he was so young. She also worked on me in the price. I was previously scammed by an unscrupulous (supposedly) breeder who not only took all of my money and didn't deliver the puppy and they also stole my identity. She worked with me on my budget. Not only was she in Houston for another transport, she made sure she picked him up the same day that I booked her. She treated him like he was also her own furkid. She drove straight through dealing with some pretty bad weather. She stayed in touch with me during the whole transport, arrived when promised. Chloe put me and my friend that bought him for me at ease. My friend said, she's an Angel. I didn't worry one bit and neither did my friend. After being scammed out of close to $2000. I would normally be leery of anyone who promised me the Moon but stole from me. I did not have one single doubt about her. There are not enough good things I can say about Chloe!
I was ripped off for $450.00 by a highly rated driver that they recommended to me. They stated that the driver had 50 trips and 5 stars. The driver ghosted me, did not show up on the date promised and kept my 450.00 deposit. When contacted, Citizenshipper took no responsibility and said I was on my own. Be very careful who you select because this company WILL NOT stand behind their drivers. It also became known after this happened that this driver was doing this to other people and Citizenshipper DID NOT notify or warn me.
We've been very happy with our experience working with Citizen Shipper. Their website is very easy to use, it is very easy to see the profile of each 'shipper' and view their profile as far as their experience, their reviews and most even give a good picture of the kind of driver that is giving a quote for the need. We were happy with the driver who delivered our puppy from Ohio to New Jersey in a very professional manner. Keep up the good work!
I connected with a shipper, even sent them 200 up front and attempted to cancel my order on the site as they'd like roughly 20% of the cost of shipping just for connecting me with a shipper. I talked with the shipper and decided to move a few more animals with my shipment for some extra money. After talking with customer support they've determined they aren't going to cancel the shipment on their site even if they get to keep the $130 for connecting me to a shipper. So now I'll be paying 900 instead of the original 700 because "it appears the shipment is still on". Thanks customer support for seeing half the situation and only doing what benifits the company while screwing over customers.
BUYER BEWARE
When you contact this company you will get offers from various transport companies. When you decline an offer some of these drives will offer a side deal that cuts out Citizen and their $120 our giving you a better price. I actually took one of these offers and lost $250. Apparently Citizen doesn't research their drivers.

I used Citizen Shipper to find a courier to drive my new puppy from the breeder in Pennsylvania to my home in Illinois. My puppy arrived safely to me and he arrived ahead of schedule. The drive kept me informed and updated along the way. He arrived ahead of schedule and was very polite and professional. I found the best shipper on this site. I liked that you could communicate with a variety of people, and they all could let you know exactly what they would do to get your stuff from point A to point B, how much it would cost, etc. And knowing what you get for your money without having to search on your own, reading reviews of people. It all helped a lot. I had to move both my motorcycle and my cat from Texas to Washington, I found a fantastic company that could take both for one price, they communicated so well - no worries at all! Teachers Pet did a fantastic job of picking up the cat at the vet and the bike at my old residence, got them both up to Seattle in perfect condition. I wouldn't have found them without CitizenShipper.

Excellent experience! We bought a Sphynx kitten from a breeder in PA. We needed our precious kitten brought to us in Nashville TN. CitizenShipper saved us from having to make that 10 hour drive, by making it convenient and affordable for us to have someone deliver our kitten to us.

They helped find a person to ship a pet and it was easy and great. I highly recommend their site because it can bring competitive rates and you can directly interact with the people who will be conducting the busisness with you. For example, I hate when people can't form sentences or abbreviate words like you into u' when you are a business. It's unproffessional and grammar speaks volumes. So I could filter through the chats and pick those who conversed well to conduct business with.
Great experience! Mike made it so easy for me not to worry about my puppy getting here safely. He answered any questions I had and was always available to answer the phone/text. He sent me several pictures of my puppy during the trip and took GREAT care of him! I am so happy I chose to have Ozark Air Transport bring my new puppy to me :) I will use this company again if I ever need another transport and would recommend to any and everybody!
Citizen shipper is a great way to find good pet transportation companies like purrrfect transport. Brian was amazing and there are no complaints from me. There are good people out there and I'm just so appreciative.
Tip for consumers:
Just be wise. Ask for proof and make sure you never give money up front. If the person is good, they will take payment on delivery.

I don't have enough good things to say about this company. I wasn't able to get her myself, and had been trying to get her back to us, but everything was so expensive. Our driver Marc was in contact with us the whole time and even arrived early! We couldn't be happier! Definitely use citizenshipper.

This was my first time shipping my pup upstate. I was not comfortable shipping her in airplane cargo due to numerous reasons. I didn't know services such as dog shipping existed. I believe there has been some miscommunication in this situation. You can connect with a driver for free by posting a listing on our marketplace and receiving bids. As is stated before you actually book and pay the CitizenShipper fee, you only pay once you’ve contracted with a driver. There are specific, legal rules regarding the contract once you click on the button, just like with anything else that you buy that has terms and conditions. The fee is to offset the costs of web hosting, engineers to create and maintain the site, a customer support team to field questions and solve issues, and marketing, branding, and promotions, among other things. If you talked with the shipper and did NOT cancel the shipment but instead just added to it, you have, ipso facto, not cancelled a shipment and are not due any refund. There are very clear terms for when a customer is entitled to a refund, and unfortunately deciding it’s too expensive is not one of them. You’ve already used the service, even if you decided not to go with a shipper, which it appears that you have.
