I need to update my review on Chloe. She brought my 8 wk old Maltese puppy, Bentley, from Houston to Myrtle Beach, SC. Not only did Chloe take extra precautions regarding his health because he was so young. She also worked on me in the price. I was previously scammed by an unscrupulous (supposedly) breeder who not only took all of my money and didn't deliver the puppy and they also stole my identity. She worked with me on my budget. Not only was she in Houston for another transport, she made sure she picked him up the same day that I booked her. She treated him like he was also her own furkid. She drove straight through dealing with some pretty bad weather. She stayed in touch with me during the whole transport, arrived when promised. Chloe put me and my friend that bought him for me at ease. My friend said, she's an Angel. I didn't worry one bit and neither did my friend. After being scammed out of close to $2000. I would normally be leery of anyone who promised me the Moon but stole from me. I did not have one single doubt about her. There are not enough good things I can say about Chloe!
I was ripped off for $450.00 by a highly rated driver that they recommended to me. They stated that the driver had 50 trips and 5 stars. The driver ghosted me, did not show up on the date promised and kept my 450.00 deposit. When contacted, Citizenshipper took no responsibility and said I was on my own. Be very careful who you select because this company WILL NOT stand behind their drivers. It also became known after this happened that this driver was doing this to other people and Citizenshipper DID NOT notify or warn me.
I wish I could give Cordell more than 5 stars! He communicated with me the whole time, he was friendly, he went above and beyond when the unexpected came up. Shipping with his and Citizenshipper has been a wonderful experience. I'd recommend it to anyone.
Highly recommend them! They delivered a Yorkie I was taking care of for a relative all the way from Miami to North Carolina and we're fair with the pricing as well. They even kept me updated at all times and send me pictures to assure me she was in good hands. Thank you so much!

All other drivers have been great. The one mishap was a costly one though. Wish they secured drivers better.

I needed and adult 80 lbs dog shipped. I entered the information requested and within minutes I started to get quotes. The entire process was quick and simple. All the drivers are background checked and you can see from their profiles how many shipments they have completed and what other people had to say about them. Very good business to work with and will be happy to work with them again.
This company is very professional I was able to find a shipper to be able to bring me my new baby puppy home with. I also love that they do checks on the shippers to make sure they're legit and trustworthy. I will definitely be using citizenshipper again.

I was skeptical at first. I had many bids on my route, and after reviewing them all, I found the most qualified on paper. After speaking with him directly, he took away all my worries, concerns, and doubts with his knowledge, experience, background and empathy towards my pet. He was utterly wonderful and took great care of my sweet puppy and kept me updated the entire way. My driver was amazing! Bark Park Transports will be my only go to from now on!

I thought I was never going to be able to see my fur-baby since I am located in Florida and my baby was in Pennsylvania. I thought flying was the only option until I came across Citizen shipper. They gave me so many options to chose from. The quotes just kept coming in and all by good pet transporting companies. Their site was so easy to use too. Now I have my fur baby home with me where she belongs.

Something that would've been helpful to know was not to make a decision on the first day you ask for a quote so that way you have more options to chose from.

I was amazed to find a service to ship my puppy halfway across the country! One thing I immediately felt was safe using this site. The company performs background checks on all the drivers adding to the sense of safety and almost immediately after posting my job on the site a started getting quotes from drivers. You can quickly read over their profiles and see their pictures and ratings from other customers adding to the security aspect. I was so pleased with this service after being nervous about my puppy. Thanks!
My brother had a litter of puppies 12 hours away in Virginia. Had no idea how I was gonna get this dog. I found citizen shipper in a Google search and filled out my info and what I need to transport from Virginia to Massachusetts. I got tons of bids from dog transporters with detailed profiles and reviews. They picked my pup up Friday night and had it to me Saturday morning with pics and communication the entire way. No idea this would be so easy. Plus I got my dog shipped for what it would of cost me to drive there and back and I never left my house!

Website connected me to a furniture mover and pet transporter. Both had great reviews and deserved the praise. I doubt I would have found the referrals otherwise. My only complaint is that the referral fee charged by Citizenshipper is not advertised and was steep.

OMG I never knew this type of service existed, and thank God it does. This is a great way to find reputable transport nannies. I am very pleased with the referrals provided. I wished I could have used them all. My experience was awesome. I started telling friends and family immediately. Thank you for your business and I will continue to support you with referrals. I used CitizenShipper to get several quotes to transport my pets from Texas to Oregon. It was really easy to review each of the quotes, and I was able to look at reviews for each shipper right on the website. I narrowed down to a few options based on these reviews and the cost estimates, then chatted with each of the final options until I found someone that felt like a good fit for us. The shipper we worked with was fantastic. Very responsive, excellent planning, and she handled all three dogs, the cat and the bearded dragon and got them safely to the destination ahead of schedule.
I will save you all the drama I am STILL having with my shipper and Citizen Shipper customer service, but long story short... book elsewhere.
This is not the shipping website you want to be using. I have used Uship many times, and reaching them for a problem, or getting something resolved, is painless.
Trying to get a hold of a customer service rep at Citizen Shipper is like trying to find free volunteers for a rectal exam.

I love working with Citizenshipper! I meet people from all over and get the chance to deliver their new and sometimes already well- loved animals to them. The only thing that I would say to keep in mind as a consumer looking for pet transport, would be that CS has their own fee separate from what your bid is. That and not always is the lowest bid the best. Sometimes, it's okay, just read the reviews of the shipper. I know as a legitimate Pet Transport small business owner, it makes ALL the difference in the world how these precious animals are treated during their journey.
Citizen Shipper made it extremely easy to find a driver to bring my baby to Houston from Philadelphia. I am a first time user of Citizen Shipper and before this I had no idea that a company could put me in contact with drivers that offered this service, so for being new to all got this, they made it very easy and effective for me. CitizenShipper has a fee you have to pay to get access to the shipper you select. You will get quotes from shippers for the cost of shipping. I wanted a puppy shipped from PA to Las Vegas. I received quotes from about 30 shippers ranging in price from 800.00 to 3500.00. I picked a lady who offered 800.00 as she would pick up the puppy from the breeder and deliver her to my home. The service fee I had to pay is based on the shipping cost. I paid 170.00 to CitizenShipper.

It was really easy to find folks interested in transporting my car and get a bid that fit my budget. Crystal was incredibly accommodating and I felt my cat was safe and happy the whole time with pics and video updates. Would definitely use this service again!

I am beyond pleased with this transport company. I've never needed to use this type of service so I was very nervous. I was guided through the process and sent pictures and info at every stop. We found a company through Citizen Shipper to bring our Puppy from TX to VT. Maurice communicated well and kept us updated with pictures and texts during our puppy's flight. He even put up with me being extremely nervous about her being on a long flight! What a great website!
I needed to transport my precious fur baby using citizenshipper. I was matched with a very professional and nice transporter. He patiently drove my kitten all the down to Georgia from Massachusetts while making great time. I will definitely use this service again when I need transport my kitten back!
I had never used a service like this, so I was naturally nervous. The transporters responded very quickly to my request for a long-distance drive in a short time-frame with an incredibly reasonable quote. Lily was in touch with me the entire trip with updates. The kitten they were transporting needed to have medication during the trip and they were more than happy to accommodate his needs. I was anxious about meeting the cat, but not at all about his trip.
I received 20+ quotes within a couple days. It was easy to look at their reviews, and details on how many transports they had already done, what their quote was and any other requirements. It was easy to do a process of elimination and come up with 3 or 4 to research and engage further. Ultimately made a great choice and everything was terrific! Their fee was based on the quote amount which I thought was smart. Highly recommend.

This service made our family move so much less stressful! Flying our two dogs across the country alone was not an option, and traveling with two dogs and two children was far too stressful. I am sincerely sorry you had a bad experience with a driver you found on the platform. We do screen drivers for applicable background checks however, since we do not employ the drivers (thus keeping costs down), we are unable to do complete background checks. Also, if a scammer has not been caught scamming, there would be nothing to find, even if we were able to check fingerprints. We understand that, and we do our best to help customers who find themselves in that situation. To wit: we recommend only using refundable, traceable payments when paying drivers; we have many help articles and a whole team of customer support agents available to provide that knowledge and advice; in cases where the police are involved, we are able to provide the information we have on file so that a case can be made. No one here at CitizenShipper is happy that this happens, but we have put as many safeguards in place which are legal and have the best outcomes in mind.
