I need to update my review on Chloe. She brought my 8 wk old Maltese puppy, Bentley, from Houston to Myrtle Beach, SC. Not only did Chloe take extra precautions regarding his health because he was so young. She also worked on me in the price. I was previously scammed by an unscrupulous (supposedly) breeder who not only took all of my money and didn't deliver the puppy and they also stole my identity. She worked with me on my budget. Not only was she in Houston for another transport, she made sure she picked him up the same day that I booked her. She treated him like he was also her own furkid. She drove straight through dealing with some pretty bad weather. She stayed in touch with me during the whole transport, arrived when promised. Chloe put me and my friend that bought him for me at ease. My friend said, she's an Angel. I didn't worry one bit and neither did my friend. After being scammed out of close to $2000. I would normally be leery of anyone who promised me the Moon but stole from me. I did not have one single doubt about her. There are not enough good things I can say about Chloe!
I was ripped off for $450.00 by a highly rated driver that they recommended to me. They stated that the driver had 50 trips and 5 stars. The driver ghosted me, did not show up on the date promised and kept my 450.00 deposit. When contacted, Citizenshipper took no responsibility and said I was on my own. Be very careful who you select because this company WILL NOT stand behind their drivers. It also became known after this happened that this driver was doing this to other people and Citizenshipper DID NOT notify or warn me.
Super happy with my experience using this site and the outcome. I posted yesterday that I wanted my puppy from PA brought to me, 24hours and only 200$ later he's finally at his forever home!
Nice to get several quotes and pick the right one for me and our kitties needs. Transporter was curious, prompt and in my price range. Would recommend again.
I happened to stumble across this site by accident I was trying to get to pitbull puppies from West Palm Florida to Baltimore Maryland and was under a time crunch. The site was easy to use I got multiple responses the guy I picked out was absolutely awesome Glad to know that there still a few good people out there
I've tried uship, hail tails, nothing was as thorough and efficient as the driver I got thru citizenshipper! It's like a marketplace and u pick a driver. Too cool! Glad they got my new baby home safe

Within minutes I had several options from shippers offering to deliver my cats to me. Even though it was over 2000 miles of traveling and I had a budget, I received many offers.
Had the best shipper! She was dependable. On time and communicated the whole way! And a great price for her to pick up an antique at an auction house and deliver in NH!

I signed up as a driver here. Here's some things anyone thinking of signing up as a driver shold know.
1. They will lock your account at anytime for any arbitrary reason. That doesn't bode well, at least wit me, when your have to pay a monthly subscription fee. As far as I'm concerned, that's a rip off... and I mean any reason. If you miss a call at anytime... if you don't miss a call at anytime. They will not contact or consult you first.
2. People you don't engage as a customer can leave a review on you. Any negative reviews can cost you potential revenue as well as your time and gas. That would be like someone leaving a review here about a site without ever visiting, or even seeing the site.
3. Most shippers there don't ship on time. Whenever they decide they are ready... you better be. If not... locked account. Bad review... you're worse off now because of things you can not control. So you should be be prepared to sit in your target area and wait well past the ship date... waste of time.
4. In business and life alike you'll have to deal with "personalities"... but on this site, if you are melanin endowed, you will have to deal with racism.
My advice... don't take it seriously at all. They are not customer service oriented. To me, it seems to be more for casual drivers who want to pay for a trip to a specific location. I hope this has been helpful for both driver and shipper alike.

Hello, Id like the chance to respond to your review of our site. First, if you encountered any racism etc on our site, we ask that you immediately report this to support, and that user will be removed from our system immediately. No such reports have been made, and so we are unaware of any examples of this happening. If it did, I sincerely apologize on behalf of our site, and hope you will reach out and let us know with whom you had this issue so that we can remedy the situation immediately.
Secondly, in response to what you state above as to our locking of your account, this is actually inaccurate. In summary, our cancellation policy is as follows:

First Cancellation: Our customer support team will temporarily lock your account, and email you to confirm that you understand that we do have a cancellation policy. Once you confirm to us (by replying to customer support) that you have read and understand the policy, your account will be unlocked.
Second and all Subsequent Cancellations: Your account will be locked, and you will be responsible for the lost booking fee from the customer. Your account will be unlocked after we receive payment.

Whenever a driver cancels a shipment, as a matter of practice we lock their accounts, and make sure that drivers understand that future cancellations will lead to the driver being responsible for the lost booking deposit fee.
We never penalize a driver if the customer cancels the shipment on them, but in cases where the driver cancels we do need to take action.
All drivers on our site are held to the same standards and expected to uphold the terms and conditions of their membership to our site.
Thirdly, no one who has not contracted with you through our site is ever able to leave a review of a driver. Shippers who have not contracted with someone are not even given the option to leave feedback until they have accepted a driver and paid their booking deposit in order to secure that driver for their shipment.
Also, as an independent contractor using our site, it is your responsibility to determine the shippers exact pickup and delivery dates. Most shippers and drivers converse back and forth via messenger in order to nail down these details before entering into contract.

Not only was my money STOLEN, which is obviously why they are so persistent on paying half/full up front, my dog is GONE! A HUGE part of mine and my son's life! And they're ONLY response is to give you a credit for part of the money stolen TO ONLY USE ON THEIR SCAM SITE. Are you f***king kidding me? I just lost my dog and my money and y'all want me to just... have a credit THAT I CAN NO LONGER USE.
People, if you love your pets, FIND ANOTHER WAY! I pray to GOD NOBODY EVER HAS TO FEEL THIS AND EXPERIENCE SUCH LOSS.

Found Citizenship shipper online. I was kind of Leary about it, but it all worked out. My driver took great care of my dog and communicated very well.
Citizen Shipper allowed me to review shippers,. Communicate with them and choose the best one to transport our dog across country.

CitizenShipper is a great concept for a website and service. Connects those who need something transported, and those who transport. That's all it is. I'm sure (and hope!) there are other websites that facilitate these transactions, hipefully for less or no charge at all. It is absurd to pay as much of a service fee as they charge, on top of the fee for the actual service. None of the service fee goes to the driver, which is ridiculous because citizen shipper doesn't really do anything in the grand scheme of things. The website works well for getting the job done though, I guess. Should be better for the ludicrous amount they charge! I have been connected with two phenomenal companies (Lickity Split LLC, and All Pet Transport LLC) and one individual, who was mediocre at best. All of which, citizenshipper charged a service fee for doing not much of anything. Oh well, I'm happy with the end result. Thanks Lickity Split and Jonathan, y'all were truly amazing at what you do, and great people overall!

Look at other websites to see if you can find any that do not charge as high of a service fee, if any exist or if the other charge at all. Citizenshipper does allow you to communicate with some phenomenal companies though!! Try to find lower bids. I needed to get my dog from CO to New England and received bids from ~ $900-$1900 and the lower end bids ended up being the BEST!!

I chose a transportation/shipping company or person (LLC) of my dog from Colorado to a New England state. All they did was charge for a facilitation of conversation to allow me to choose the right match for my needs. Which, I understand is the point of citizenshipper but they charge way too much. I’ll look for other options for websites/services for this next time. I will say, that two of three people I chose were phenomenal and my review only reflects on the citizenshipper website and not those companies.
Its actually my first time using citizen shipper but the exoerience is sooo good！The shipper answered everything quickly and I got my puppy within one day

Citizen Shipper connected me with a wonderful woman who transported my dog 760 miles. She sent many photos and gave me a link to track my dog in real time. I am happy with the service.
He deleted his stuff on there but "J CHRISTOPHER TRANSPORT" scammed me out of 420$ and wanted more and refused to return my money saying he needed car repairs. I almost had to give up my dog since it was so last minute and the whole reason, I needed citizen shipper was because I was moving and could take my dog on the plain with me. Our convo on the site got deleted after he got rid of his account but i have text messages. He sent me a pic of his driver's license and fan but for all i know those were fake.

We was able to have our fur baby transported with the most ease. They were able to help us find a trustworthy person to transport our baby safely and sufficiently.
We just used CitizenShipper to ship our new puppy from FL to MA. We couldn't have asked for a better experience in locating a shipper to match to our route. We previously tried using UShip and never had any luck. With UShip it was hard to see reviews or the shippers and whether they were legitimate or not. With CitizenShipper the process was a breeze. The app is so user friendly and once I set up a profile, I was immediately texted and emailed with multiple quotes from highly praised shippers, bidding for our shipping job. It was so easy to communicate back and forth through the app. Also I liked how I could see their reviews and history of which routes they've done before, as well as pictures!
