I need to update my review on Chloe. She brought my 8 wk old Maltese puppy, Bentley, from Houston to Myrtle Beach, SC. Not only did Chloe take extra precautions regarding his health because he was so young. She also worked on me in the price. I was previously scammed by an unscrupulous (supposedly) breeder who not only took all of my money and didn't deliver the puppy and they also stole my identity. She worked with me on my budget. Not only was she in Houston for another transport, she made sure she picked him up the same day that I booked her. She treated him like he was also her own furkid. She drove straight through dealing with some pretty bad weather. She stayed in touch with me during the whole transport, arrived when promised. Chloe put me and my friend that bought him for me at ease. My friend said, she's an Angel. I didn't worry one bit and neither did my friend. After being scammed out of close to $2000. I would normally be leery of anyone who promised me the Moon but stole from me. I did not have one single doubt about her. There are not enough good things I can say about Chloe!
I was ripped off for $450.00 by a highly rated driver that they recommended to me. They stated that the driver had 50 trips and 5 stars. The driver ghosted me, did not show up on the date promised and kept my 450.00 deposit. When contacted, Citizenshipper took no responsibility and said I was on my own. Be very careful who you select because this company WILL NOT stand behind their drivers. It also became known after this happened that this driver was doing this to other people and Citizenshipper DID NOT notify or warn me.
Used Citizen Shipper to get quotes for our new puppy to travel from Ma to GA. I was able to receive several reasonable quotes from what seemed like reputable pet curriers. Best to ask a lot of questions on process/ time/ route etc before making a decision. But loved that I had choices! I had to change my date a few times and each time received new bids for the job. Would absolutely use CitizenShipper again. My puppy arrived safely and in the time give ln with lots of communication along the way. So easy and user friendly.
I was devastated when the airline wouldn't accept my puppy from the breeder at the airport because of temp requirements. I spent the whole morning trying to find a way to get her home ASAP. I was nervous to use citizen shipper as I've never done anything like it before and trusting a stranger with your baby is scary. But Mabel was delivered right to my front door safe and sound, the night after she was picked up and I got constant updates along the way. Great experience.
This is the best service ever invented. I used CitizenShipper to get quotes to pick up 2 Cava Tzu puppies 1600 miles away. I immediately heard from Merika that they live in Colorado too. Easy decision for me to make. When the initial deal fell through, they came to my rescue. They picked up my new puppies from a different location without hesitation. They sent photos of my puppies and texted me everyday. We became fast friends and they are welcome at my house to use as a stopover at any time. I would recommend using CitizenShipper and Merika and Clint for any animal pickups. They truly do care!
Within an hour of posting my job on the site I received six quotes from various shippers. I was able to evaluate them all and select the one that was right for me. The Web site allows for instant communication with the professionals and at no point did I feel like I didn't know what was going on. The additional site fees for booking aren't incredibly apparent up front but given that I couldn't have done this myself I'm not complaining. I would definitely use this service again.

Unbelievably unprofession... Booked with a driver who never showed up and that was the end of any but here customer service. Refused to refund booking fee, please make sure you DO not give these people any card # that you are not willing to cancel!
Stumbled across this when looking for a way to get our new puppy during the virus. What a fantastic service and the bid approach with providers responding to questions and reviews made it easy to determine which drivers would meet our needs best. We used PLK and could not have been happier. Would use them again, even without virus concerns.
Tip for consumers:
Our driver was relatively new and only had 2 reviews. Reach out to communicate with your potential drivers as she provided us with much more background than what was available from the limited reviews. We were also happy that CitizenShipper does a background check to even get on the site.
Terrible experience. A very long story, but I ended up having to FLY across country on a redeye flight at a moment's notice to extract our dog from this driver - I seriously felt there was no alternative. I had hired a driver who had a dozen positive reviews. It turned out that she was very young, very inexperienced and doing a lot of very dangerous and irrational things. CitizenShipper has zero ability or interest in making things right if they go wrong; there is no phone number, and emails simply go ignored. So if things go wrong, you will be on your own. Think about that. If a stranger has your beloved pet driving long distance and something goes bad. You'll be on your own.
If you care about the welfare of your animals, do not use this service.

I needed to fly a Maltese puppy from VA to Las Vegas. Flying Pets was great! This website was nice to be able to get different bids from shipping companies. We were able to choose the best price and it ended up being a wonderful experience with Tasha and Rok!
If you are anything like me &' are skeptical about people scamming or caring for your fur babies. DONT be they are very trusting &' take the best care of getting you the right quotes. &' also my puppies were well token care of &' got here on time (:

We couldn't ship our puppy via plane due breed restrictions, so after searching for the service to use we went with CitizenShipper. Web site is very straight forward and easy to use, we immediately started getting quotes that were lower than from other services due to CitizenShipper taking fixed lower cut from driver's fees. Booking process was straightforward and simple as well. Highly recommend this service to anyone.
I had a different kind of problem with my delivery because I became sick. Adam, my driver, was very understanding and helped me resolve the situation. I would highly recommend this service and always try to vet your driver as part for the course. Adam was great!
We've used citizenshipper a half dozen times to transport dogs and pups. Some of the drivers were excellent communicators, others, not so much. It's hard to 'do research' exactly - you are pretty much restricted to the reviews and profiles on the citizenshipper website and your gut feelings.
I am a driver and their site is super easy to use. Connects you with people who need to transport animals or ship other items. It gives both the driver and customers the security they need when booking thru them. Ibhighlt recommended this service!

Driver rescheduled two times and then cancelled last minute. He refuses to issue a refund and citizenshipper will not help nor will they even issue a refund of their fee. Note that they do not even have a number that you can call for support or customer service. This should have been my first clue...

I did, however, handle your support ticket in a very timely manner, as you emailed support for the first time on April 3rd, I responded within 6 minutes of your initial email. You then sent three emails back to back, which I responded to as soon as we opened the next morning. I am sorry that I was unable to immediately reply to each of your emails, but as I mentioned in my communication with you, I do answer all emails in the order they are received and standard response time is 24 hours, which we strive to beat each and every day. We did not issue a refund after hours, as we are not able to do so, however, your refund was processed the very next morning, and we would appreciate it very much if you could update your review to reflect this. Used Citizenshipper.com to ship a puppy approximately 1,000 miles. Platform was easy to use and immediately got bids from multiple sources. Went with person who could do it asap. Ended up canceling the job last minute. Was able to quickly get online and arrange for another transport. Was quick and easy. Would use again. Tried uship.com but was unable to get anyone lined up and had little interest. Highly recommended.
They connected me to Twinstate Transport who did a great job transporting my 3 fur babies from Dallas to Seattle in the heat of the summer. Plus they checked then into airport for me! Thanks for connect!
As far as I can tell, CitizenShipper acts as a broker to link customers to shipping/transporting services. Thank goodness. I had to find a service to transport an American Bandogge long distance--airlines do not allow any breed or mix of Mastiff or Bulldog--and I had no idea where to begin. I found CitizenShipper relatively quickly. They connected me with what I desperately needed in a very short amount of time and helped prevent a bad situation from getting any worse. Amazing! Let's give a round of applause to American entrepreneurship, enterprise, and Capitalism.
I loved the response I got from this website. I had 13 responses and there was a variety of companies that offered individual services or group rides. There was a wide range of prices also. Would definitely recommend this website service.

We were needing to have a dog transported from Florida to Colorado and quickly. We researched different options and came across citizen shipper. We were a little hesitant at first as we have never done anything like this before but after reading all the reviews we gave it a try. We had a great driver and great experience all around. Would definitely use again.
I tried other "bid" sites for transporting my Spyder CanAm, with no success and big companies just wanting to take advantage and over charge the market rate. Please remember drivers on our site operate as independent contractors, and do not work for Citizenshipper, which is the load board used to connect shipments with drivers who are able to help transport your items.
