I bought a pair of sunglasses from clearly.ca. Visible discoloration at the edge of the lens. Customer service believes this is normal for polarized lenses. I don't have this issue on my other polarized pair from Costco. Has anyone seen this with your glasses?
I placed an order for eyeglasses a week ago. I was told there was a production problem with my eyeglasses my order has been canceled!

Loved the experience purchasing contacts. My order was processed faster than expected and was delivered before the promised date. I will definitely be ordering again - loved the touch of having a little haribo treat in the delivery package.
I paid for Canada Post shipping and my contacts did not come via Canada post. Luckily someone let them into my building so my lenses were left at my door, otherwise I would not have received them. Also…the shipping time was brutal compared to being shipped with Canada Post.
I am pleased with my purchase and happy that buying glasses online, without actually trying them, actually worked out very well. The glasses arrived after aprox 2 weeks from the order. They are nicer than in the picture, very light frame. It did take me some some to get used to the new prescription, but otherwise they are perfect. I saved a great deal in the frame and lenses and I very satisfied with the product.
I and my family purchased 4 glasses in one visit. I am very satisfied with the staff friendly manner and the variety of frames and reasonable prices. But I am not satisfied with the lenses. It seems that they get dirty and oily quickly, and you can't clean them easily.
If you have question please dont be shy to ask, they will help. If you never order your own prescription glasses or contacts please call them to help. You, i strongly recommend as it is not super straight forward to read a prescription and complete the fields correctly if you are not familiar with. The second order it will be a breeze!
I ordered glasses for my son and they were lost during the delivery process. I contacted Clearly and told them that I never received the package and my son desperately needed his glasses. Clearly totally backed me up and had my back no hassles. They made my son another pair of glasses sent them to me as soon as they could. As a mother I am so thankful and now my son can see with his glasses. I can't say thank you enough.
It's tricky to know if you want to order glasses online -- but I've been quite happy with how easy it's been to return/make changes to my order. I have a challenging situation in how to correct my eyesight for my heavy computer use, so had some trial and error with progressives.
I've been happy with the frames I've ordered over the years.

I got a spare pair for when I was travelling and they are even better than my more expensive main pair. So many options and the price was perfect. It was delivered quickly and the box is very cute. Will be back for more pairs!

The glasses that I ordered do not fit well on my face (keep sliding off as the arms are almost straight with little bend behind the ear) and the quality is not that great compared to how they looked online. I think I will opt to go into a physical store so that they can ensure that the fit is exact for my face prior to wearing the glasses.
*Update: I was contacted by clearly and they gave me instructions on how to adjust the fit of the glasses myself, they gave me the option to go into one of their stores for adjustment or returning the glasses. I have decided to return them at this time. I will go into the store the next time I am in Toronto to purchase a new pair of glasses to see if this experience is better for me.

I was originally told that my order would take longer due to production issues, I'm happy to say the order came in much faster than I was told! Great surprise to see it at my doorstep in time for me to head out on holidays.
I received my contacts but by the time they arrived I had gone away for a month. Now that I am back I realize that I ordered the wrong strength. I have only used 1 Set out of them. I am wondering if I can return them and get the correct prescription?
I spoke with Customer Service by phone because I was concerned that my first automatic refill was going to be late. In fact it had not got recorded in the system properly and there was no automatic refill noted on my account. However, while I was on the phone, the very helpful and courteous customer service agent set up the automatic refill and placed an immediate order for my lenses. As usual, my lenses arrived sooner than I expected - must be the fastest service by any company during Covid! Thank you.
I don't know what the UV protection is on them. I realize you sent me them free. But I don't know where I could wear them if they are safe in the sun. I would've rather had five or 10 more dollars off my purchase

I haven't bought glasses online before, and being able to pay 1/10th of what I would in store settles this as the only way that I'll be buying them anymore. Its more about glasses in optometrists being ridiculously overpriced than it is about these glasses being cheap. They're just metal and plastic. Paying more than $50 for them is just stupid.

The absolute worst company I've ever had to deal with. And this goes way back before Covid. Prepare yourself for rude staff interaction, copy/paste responses from "customer service", delays, endless runarounds, and emails telling you your product hasn't even been shipped way after it was supposed to arrive. And I am still waiting for contacts...

I have been surprised that I can send in my prescription and get glasses online that 'work'. Also glad that there is a store close to me where I can get the glasses adjusted if need be. My only 'complaint' is that the sunglasses are not that dark and therefore don't completely protect against the sun.

As well, our prescription sunglasses do offer the same level of UV protection as the non-prescription sunglasses do. We can understand if the appearance isn't to your preference (where a more opaque lens might be preferable) but rest assured they perform identically to darker looking lenses. We hope this helps! I've been ordering through Clearly for many years. I recently received the wrong contact lenses in the mail so contacted them via chat and new lenses were sent very quickly. A return label was also provided for the other lenses I received and I simply put these in the mail. Very efficient in solving my issue.
After dealing with burning contacts for almost 2 years finally these dailies are actually good. They dont burn at all however one thing ive noticed is that if i have them in for over 7 or 8 hours, theyll start to dry out and stick to my eyelid. I just carry around eyedrops for when this happens and its a easy trade off for the comfort they give me.
The customer service here is top knotch. And I know some people think that the great reviews are bots paid for by clearly, well Poop my Pants! If This was a bot it would never say that. So theres the proof im real. Always arrives early, and you cant beat the prices. And the delivery guy actually leaves the package at the door if youre not home instead of making you deal with canada post
Amazing product and fast shipping. I only deducted 1 star due to the fact that the last couple shipments, when I lived in BC, weren't being delivered to me. Maybe because they changed their carriers but those idiots couldn't get into my apartment building when the ones before them had no problem with the delivery. This is not Clearly's fault whatsoever tho, since I've moved to ON they have been amazing. Customer service is fast and great as well.

My contacts arrived as expected and earlier than I expected. It was nice to try the coloured contacts but they are very cloudy to see indoors. Outdoors in the light I assume my pupils contract small enough to see through the uncoloured centre. Indoors I find them very difficult to see with. However, they make pretty eyes for fun. My regular prescription with the regular blue finding tint are perfect.
I was a customer, but now I am not. They lost me as a customer! I tried to log in and they told me to reset my password. I followed their directions twice and still could not get in and they told me to contact customer service. I am currently on an hour and forty min hold. They did not reply to chat support either! Apparently, after reading current reviews and they are having similar issues. I have never been so frustrated and I am a very patient person.
The tip of one temple was 7 mm higher than the other. I think the frame was crooked in the bridge. My prescription is -12, so the edges of the lenses turned out very thick. I was ok with that, but they were also not polished and therefore too noticeable. For comparison, Zenni polishes the edges, which makes the sides of the lenses transparent and much less noticeable. The lenses were too big and heavy (index 1.74). There were no good reasonable priced frames that would house smaller lenses on the website. The cheapest small-lens frames were $200. In the end, I returned the glasses and lost the $20 store credit that I got for having an eye exam at the Clearly's physical store in Vancouver. The staff at the store was helpful and honest and not pushy.

I have been very pleased with clearly. It took a few tries to get the right prescriptions and measurements and they were very patient and accommodating as I needed to try a couple times to get glasses that felt good and that I liked. Made the exchange process very easy and seamless. Very happy with service and so far my new glasses.
