“Climber.com got me interviews.”

Michael R.

Once I took the first step to set-up my Career Profile information, I started to see great results for the higher paying jobs in my job search. The service was no risk with their 30 day trial period w/ a 30 money back guarantee. Their Customer Service Department was very knowledgeable, courteous and honest. $39 Membership is a great value. If your looking for Interviews, Climber.com is for you. Sincerely, Michael Riches

This is a scam. Impossible to access once they have oversold their services. Buyer beware! After a week of constant emails and deflection to numbers for cancellation, you best call your payment choice CC company and enter into a dispute to recover funds. % 500 dollar purchase for the rewrite was told now required $ 649 rewrite to truly acquire the desired effect to SPEAK to a specialist. Do your self a favor use proven resume professional perhaps pay morel. Do look at Climber reviews I wish I had

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE SERVICE! This company did nothing but cost me money for NO results! They stole my money... I opted for the free, 30-day trial to test the waters, however, after three weeks I found this website to be absolutely ridiculous and no-help, so I requested that they cancel my subscription to ensure I was not charged for this service (since I was still well within the "free 30-day trial" period). Five months later, I still have not gotten my money back! I just called again and forwarded all my previous email contacts with them, regarding getting my money back, to their horrible business personnel, clearly stating I wanted to cancel and be refunded- but still they would not give me MY money back. WORST BUSINESS PRACTICES I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! I have already filed a complaint with the BBB, and it sounds like I am not the first to file a report! Clearly, climbers.com needs the $39.99 more than I do... just please stay away from these rude people and despicable business practices!

I really bought into the initial review they conducted for "free" on my resume - it was pretty decent, and made me believe that it may be worth the money to get a re-write. And that, my friends, is called the "set up". After engaging Climber to help me with my resume, they gave me a contact - Nick Jimenez, Senior Project Manager
Climber.com, 101 West Broadway, Suite 1350, San Diego, CA *******

Well, Nick was too busy to work into my schedule, so I had to try to fit into HIS schedule. After a few additional failed attempts, I started to see this service for what it was, and asked for a refund. That's when Nick says "OH, btw, you signed a contract that allows NO REFUNDS". So clearly read the contract better than I - you know a service that has language to prevent them from having to refund any money after they disappoint a customer - that's quite encouraging. Not. SO, Nick quickly punts me (BAIT AND SWITCH) to the lowest tier of their service - a writer named Kendra Thomas. Prior to getting her first 'observations' of my resume, I had done a complete overhaul, based on the "set up" info, and 10 other articles I read. The resume was actually looking pretty darn good!
Well, that's what I thought. Kendra removed almost all key words, and shrunk my resume from three pages (I have 27 years of experience to at least bullet point) to about 11/2 pages - minimal content, etc. It would have been hard to distinguish me from somebody with less than 10 years experience.

It was a staggering display of total incompetence. I didn't go back to her - felt like it'd be like asking a baker to roof my house. So - after I threw away almost $600 on Climber's PREMIUM service - I can tell you it is a complete joke!

Please save your money and have the woman who home-schools down the street help you - you will get MUCH BETTER results - yikes!

I had signed up for a $99 - 3mo trial which I forgot to cancel so was charged for the 4th month. I couldn't make the 1st "consulting session" offered during the trial period and could not work out another time to meet. So basically, my resume sat in the database for 3mos with no one pursuing me to reset the session or see what kind of jobs I want, etc. I only received emails about jobs in the area that available, which I get from Monster for free. I honestly have no idea if there was any true value added by being on Climber.com

When I called to cancel and complain to "Nicole Chenelle" in customer service I got completely reamed. Her only bit of customer service advice was that Climber will no longer charge for their service. There was NO ATTEMPT made by Nicole to understand/realize that I received a bad experience or to see what she could do to make it better. My mistake for signing up for yet another "cancel before the trial period is over" or you will still pay - promo.

The message is clear, based on the treatment dished out by Nicole, Climber has no intention to make sure that customers are satisfied and, if they are not, there will not be any effort made to try and make the experience better.

Here's an idea - Invest in a serious customer service/retention program. Figure out if your customers feel that they are getting a significant bang for their buck... especially since some competitive sites are free... and treat those customers who might have felt slighted by Climber with some respect and common decency!

Hell... I never even got a survey after canceling asking what I thought and what I would like to see improved. Kind of basic stuff there...
