I would unquestionably recommend to use cloudways. All my hosting issues were fixed instantaneously. The management is very good. I don't mind paying $3 extra compared to digital ocean as cloudways provide 24/7 support with a free SSL. They are perfect for wordpress, drupal, prestashop etc. I would rate them 7.5 / 10.
I have tried Linode, Digital ocean and Vultr stack on cloudways and was really impressed with caching, 1-click SSL and the rest. My only reservation is with their technical support.
All in all, they're doing a good work so far.
These guys seem to be a dishonest bunch. They claim that you can start free hosting to test their services but block you from registering for the free hosting by simply not responding to you.
Let me explain.
Before you could sign up for the free hosting you are required to have a chat with them and provide details. After having provided the details during the chat nothing happens even with reminders!
If they don't actually intend to provide free hosting, why make the offer on the website? Isn't that misrepresentation?
Upon checking their staff list in LinkedIn, I found that almost 100% of their staff have Muslim names. Wonder why this is so in a country whose people are predominantly Roman Catholics (88.6%)?
Been using Cloudways for many years now and their prices are excellent. Billing stops the moment you delete a server. User interface is good with all the necessary options including some that you wont find on Cpanel.
I have hosted a few dozen sites and would love to script and automate many tasks relating to them. Thanks to CloudWays now its possible for me to host them similar to Shared Hosting but with benefits of dedicated hosting service (All this without the cost of paying for full time management).
I launched my site with CloudWays on DigitalOcean's 2GB Server. I am quite new to server side and don't really know much about server management but thanks to Cloud Ways they are awesome, their LIVE Chat support is great. Highly Recommended for new users.
