Job (pronounce Hob) was fantastic on the phone. He was patient, understanding, and explained things really well. Now, I can re-set some items by myself, without having to contact Comcast and wait for hours. Representative before him was not helpful in any sense that they were unable to provide any next steps when they cannot solve the issue.
I reluctantly got a phone as the sales guy on the phone pressured me into a great deal. I tried to return phone, guy on phone says he'll email me a shipping label within 24hrs. I waited 48hrs, nothing. I call back and they say return deadline has past. At this time I tell them I only want the internet or I'm leaving this company entirely because I do not want to pay $30 for a phone I don't need. Instead they cancel the phone's service ($30/mo) and now want me to pay them $30/mo for a serviceless phone (equipment). Worst company ever. Throw a customer away after nearly 20 years for a Google Pixel 8. Low
Called the number for.and they gave me the running around from # to #.and here we are dec 4th,been waiting since nov 30th.no service for 4 days.and we also went to the office in lesburg fl.and they take your # and wait for one/two hrs.this is uncalled for.if it wasent for us/customers/they will not be a comcast.this company just to be so promted with services.and the person that we get on the phone can even speak well inglish

Had technician come to the house give me new equipment spoke to somebody that didn't speak English and said if I did not subscribe to HBO Max I cannot watch a review. Thank God for T-Mobile Wi-Fi and YouTube TV. Kiss my $#*!
Wow, what to say about Comcast. It's absolutely TERRIBLE. The internet goes out at least 3 times a day for a half hour to an hour EVERY SINGLE DAY. I'm waiting for my wifi to start working almost more than I am actually using it. Their customer service is also the awful. The WORST cable company I've ever had.
Comcast/Xfinity is the worst provider I have ever used. They essentially extorted me when I cancelled my cable box and gave me $7 back per month but charged me $240/month for "streaming". They will take all of your money and customer service is awful. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Go with Verizon or Apple TV or a stick.

Long story short, we cancelled service because they didn't provide services to my new house (although they did provide service to nearby homes). There was a lot of confusion over the phone so I went into a Comcast service center to cancel. I did not sign anything, and it took ten minutes to cancel. She said
"okay you are cancelled and good to go". No mention of any charges. Again, I signed nothing at that date, and got a receipt that showed NO CHARGES. Then a couple weeks later I got a charged $130 for early termination. Called to discuss. First lady just hung up on me because she didn't want to deal with it. Second guy had me on hold for more than 45 minutes while he "discussed with his service team to figure out a way to help me". Then said "I am still working on it. I will call you back personally tonight or tomorrow." Half a week later, and still haven't got a call back. Seriously, will NEVER use again. DON'T recommend. Stay as far away from this backwards scam business as you can.
My tech that came out same day I called Carl was wonderful, very polite and helpful.he went above and beyond. Very pleased we need more hard working people like him. That man deserves a raise
Oh yeah so here we go another one jumps on the bandwagon Using COVID-19. They're making it sound like they are being sympathetic and do in the whole world a favor by offering free? Public Wi-Fi hotspots to ALL for 60 days. The Catch-22 is you have to SIGN UP and if you don't cancel (they hope you forget) after the 60 days they'll start charging you. You must read the fine print because there's a lot of other restrictions. Well excuse me but the word FREE means without obstruction, burden, or obligation. I can go to my local library and use FREE Wi-Fi and I can also sit down and use a computer for FREE and have access to the internet for FREE! I can also go to a Starbucks, Home Depot, Lowe's, and many other places, unlike you they don't require me to sign up for any subscriptions - They know the true meaning of FREE.
My MLB extra innings channels don't work. The feed keeps cutting out. The only thing they do is reset your receiver. Other than that, nothing. They are clueless.
My City of Auburn Hills, Michigan has no other cable/internet/wifi available BUT COMCAST/Xfinity, which is a completely unreliable service. In the 6 years living here we've had nothing but issues with service cutting out, being told it's our equipment, great difficulty reaching customer service, and nothing but aggravation.
Customer service is never able to help. Their app is a joke when it comes to their automated text help. I called Saturday that the cable line was in the street and the other line hanging near the ground and NOT ONE COMCAST tech came to repair it. A vehicle finally hit the line and we've been without service.
I was told someone would fix it by 8pm and, surprise, no one from Comcast showed up.
I never ever had issues of any sort with WOW or Direct TV where we used to live.
Comcast is always losing service, and they seem to know Auburn Hills residents have NO choice so why should they provide a decent service or check outside equipment?

I have in the past tried all the Tv services from ATT to Direct TV. Comcast is fantastic your service makes my old 2k tv look like a 4k TV Thanks to your work I will be a customer for life.
Comcast was working in my area and took down my internet. After the status page showed it was up and running my was not. I initiated a chat on their website, the guy went through tests, couldn't get it to work and said he would send out an agent THE NEXT DAY? I said I needed internet to work and asked for someone that day. He scheduled someone for later that day and NO ONE SHOWED up. Calling back there was no record of it, the guy totally lied to me. After significant back and forth with a manager she finally admitted the guy lied but never apologized and wouldn't find me someone to come that day. I had to now wait two days for a tech and in the end she hung up on me. Horrible service, no one who works there cares because they have a monopoly and the CEO is horrible.

After receiving so many mailings, we decided to try Comcast for land line phone & internet. We could not get helpful service, so we drove to their store. They have reception, but she does nothing, cannot answer anything, but get my name and signal help desk. We can just pick a number like other places. After placing an order, I saw display of new cell phones. I asked her "If I buy the phone, with which carrier will it be activated?" She does not know. I called Comcast Toll free number and asked. A guy said, "We do." I then asked "Comcast now handles wireless service?" He then said, "No, Verizon." Later that afternoon, a guy left a message but he talked awful, we could not hear anything. We heard Comcast. Other than that, we could not hear why he called, nor what number he was asking us to call back. Comcast did not prep properly, so the phone line/internet could not be activated as promised, but issued service transfer prematurely. My internet got disconnected. I called Comcast toll free number asked customer service to ask about status. He said he does not know. I said if it will be more than a few days, we have to go back to previous service provider. He said that he could not find out. He does not care we go back. He simply said "up to you".
We again drove to Xfinity store and learned that it would be over 2 weeks to schedule cable installation.
I can smell nightmare brewing. Each time we need customer service, we will encounter ignorant, irresponsible, lazy customer service? Now, I am back to old internet provider. I am about to cancel COMCAST! Do not consider!
Only one word is needed to describe every aspect of this company from product to customer service to unfair business practices HORIBLE!

WORST OF THE WORST customer service. Do NOT sign up with this TRASH company. It takes so long to actually speak with an REAL individual as I'm sure the company is trying to keep employees at a minimum due to costs. Customers pay a ridiculous amount of money and do not get the help they NEED. Definitely switching over to other provider even though I have to spend the extra penny. Long story short, Comcast "sucks" and I'm sure other customers will realize that and ho with other internet providers.

Trying to watch TV and it's saying we're having trouble on our end all the time can't watch TV. I cannot wait until my contract is up so I can go back with Verizon with internet and going with YouTube TV because I can't stand spending money on a box and remote.
They fact that they rent out routers for longer than the worth of a router and use said routers to send data to outside sources taking up my bandwidth randomly.
I am a former employee of Comcast. The CEO of Comcast (Central Division) Outbound Telesales named Adam Reasonning, is trying to exploit me. He has surveillance cameras coming into my bedroom. He invites other men to look into my home and making bids. I have to dress in the dark in my bathroom and bathe with some type of clothing in the dark, because he is trying to take NUDE pictures of me. I have proof of the surveillance cameras on my 2 cell phones. I have contacted my police department, the FBI with NO HELP. I believe that I am NOT getting help is because I am BLACK.
After 36 hours of OUTAGE WITH ZERO INPUT FROM COMCAST, NO NEWS COVERAGE IN THE GREATER SACRAMENTO/ DAVIS AREA, WE'RE FINALLY UP AND RUNNIG! Expensive and unreliable, Comcast continues to inflict spotty and substandard cable TV and WiFi product on its victims, sorry, customers. The first-level cable package at which the corporation will offer WiFi services costs almost $200 a month, includes hundreds of channels of no interest, and frequently rises in price with no commensurate benefit to its victims, sorry, customers. Comcast must be paying the US Congress beaucoup bucks not to regulate it or allow cable customers to create their own cable packages with the channels they actually choose to watch. Trying to connect with one of Comcast's employees involves a good ten-minute struggle past a phalanx of telephonic robots whose sole purpose is to redirect customers away from human contact. The struggle, once survived, is followed by a lengthy hold during which customers can, oh, bake a cake, replace the motor oil in their car, or write a term paper. America's crony capitalists value nothing more than making a buck off our nation's citizenry, so Comcast will, no doubt, continue to pay Congress protection money, and its victims, sorry, customers will continue to take it in the shorts. The whole thing is a racket.
I have been waiting at home calling about something that's supposed to done last month and I called about and my bank gave me a alert that my bill was a Pioneer I called a representative supposed to giveal with adjustment and put the new email in she has not this is terrible customer service I've been on the phone from 630 to 718 right now no supervisor to come to the farm and the representative was terrible too could not recognize couldn't understand how language
Horrible customer service. Called on Saturday morning because cable box wasn't operating and after much BS they agreed to have somebody out on mother's day between 12-5 After changing family plans for the day we sat around for 5 hours and they never showed up. Called Kevin the rep and he said they had canceled my call because they didn't have a replacement box. Of course they never bothered to call us. Now they say Wednesday. Rep and his boss both BS me the entire time. THANKS FOR NOTHING MORONS
I would like to know why there aren't any federal or state regulations that limit the amount of fees that Comcast charges its consumer customers. Every year they increase "other fees" including regional sports fees - which has nearly doubled in the last 5 years. "Other fees" apparently are excluded from the contracted "bundled rate promotion", so they can increase them at any time for any amount. This is complete bull@$%&*$#*!. Comcast is the most greedy and non-customer service oriented company I have ever encountered. Our rates keep going up so they (we) can pay for free internet services in poor neighborhoods in Philadelphia. Same story - different day. The middle income people who work the hardest in this country continue to get screwed by corporate America. If I had a choice to use another cable / internet company, I would change tomorrow. Comcast has gotten too big for its own good. Wake up Brian Roberts - your customers are pissed off. Do you even care? I guess not. The Philadelphia Inquirer even noted your ridiculous rate increases (see attached).

They charge you a overage use every month but are unable to supply reliable, dependable service. Its a oxymoron. How can you be over on lack of connection and dial up speeds comcast supply's?
You literally can't get the most basic customer service accomplished. It took 4 days and 6+ phone calls to various departments JUST TO RESET MY ACCOUNT PASSWORD. No one could get anything done and I kept getting told to call different places. I swear to god if there was any competition in this market at all, Comcast would never be chosen as an ISP.
