Job (pronounce Hob) was fantastic on the phone. He was patient, understanding, and explained things really well. Now, I can re-set some items by myself, without having to contact Comcast and wait for hours. Representative before him was not helpful in any sense that they were unable to provide any next steps when they cannot solve the issue.
I reluctantly got a phone as the sales guy on the phone pressured me into a great deal. I tried to return phone, guy on phone says he'll email me a shipping label within 24hrs. I waited 48hrs, nothing. I call back and they say return deadline has past. At this time I tell them I only want the internet or I'm leaving this company entirely because I do not want to pay $30 for a phone I don't need. Instead they cancel the phone's service ($30/mo) and now want me to pay them $30/mo for a serviceless phone (equipment). Worst company ever. Throw a customer away after nearly 20 years for a Google Pixel 8. Low

Xfinity is a NIGHTMARE do not use them for your own mental health.
I had them for a year at my previous residence because they were my only option. I was paying 183 for a 140 plan, when I questioned it I was informed the extra 63 was for "taxes and fees". I was paying for a "gigablast" and at best would get 40, my internet went out daily and would freeze my t. V. I LITERALLY moved to get rid of them.
Low and behold I move and the only "good" option is Xfinity for internet. So I set up an appointment for last Tuesday, tech shows up but won't come inside. I tell him I work from home and NEED internet in the back room, he tells me they aren't coming inside because of Covid, mind you my new T. V. provider did and the internet company I had hoped to use would, but not Xfinity, but let him see what he could do. A few minutes later he says he has his supervisor on the phone and he approved the drop and the tech will be here Friday between 2-3. Of course that was a lie, he stood there maskless, looked me in the eye and lied. We called that evening and the agent was so sorry and sent out a tech the very next day. So today the tech gets here spends maybe 10 minutes and says " I can't do it, if you have a drill, drill a hole in the wall and then tell your landlord it was there when you moved in." Now I've been lied to and advised to lie by Xfinity in less than 3 days. After the tech left I spent my whole lunch hour and my husband spent 3 hours and the phone with different agents, techs, and supervisors being told several different things, lie number 3 was a supervisor would call back in an hour and never did. So here I sit, trying really hard to work from a card table in a corner of my living room dealing with a company that tries really hard to NOT do their job and provide the worst customer service in the world.
NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN SCUM BAGS ALL OF THEM BILLING IS LIKE THE IRS CROOKS!

None they are laying down lines underground for Kingwood TX and left two holes opened! Plus on Thursday they left a big orange hose 27 hours and my lawn people couldn’t mow that afternoon.
This company represents ALL anti-consumer and anti-users business practices AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. They don't want happy consumers, they want money, they want china-styled internet, they want copyright to have more power for liability. They say f*ck you for cancelling their service, and also mail you a bad name.
The actual problems are:
-Crippled internet:
--Supported the unholy SOPA bill. SOPA stands for "Stop Online Piracy Act", one of the worst copyright bill that luckily didn't pass. It basically gives big corporations power to demand ISP to block sites regardless if legal or not.
--Anti-net neutrality. If you thought web filtering was bad, how about the ISP's turn to do the blocking? They are basically trying to completely block sites that they don't want. Even if you take that out, they wanted to slow certain loading sites to force you to pay more, that's greedy and much worse than software companies using crippleware to encourage users to pay the full version (such as a watermark on video editing programs). I know they are trying to prevent piracy, but those sites are not always used for that reason, some of them are used legally, such as a backup, review, etc.
-Lawsuits. I can't count how many they have, but they even violate a law that enforces net neutrality: Hart v. Comcast Corp. (and also false advertising), overcharging users, etc.
-HORRABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE:
--changing customers' name to a bad name, like Ricardo Brown changed to a curse word.
--The bomb that exploded on "Hurricane Ike", basically comcast didn't care if disasters like this happens, you are still required to return their equipment of renting.
--Trying to terminate the service is also bad, just look at other reviews. There are too many issues.
-Overbilling. I mean really.
And more. This company features every possible thing they did that consumer hates

My wife and I have been customer *******@xfinity for the last 3 years. During this time we have not gone 6months w/o having problems of one nature or another; billing issues (applying payment to wrong accounts, miss charging, changing bills w/o notice, etc.), we have had our property damaged (by company's contracted to install underground lines), we have had more service related issues than I can count from faulty equipment or improperly installed equipment or "unidentifiable problems out side of out property", and most recently have been lied to- scammed- and stolen from by this company. (Short version of the story is they applied a payment back in June to a non-active closed account causing us to be charged late fees and have service interruptions, after 12 days, 14 phone calls, over 4 hours of time on the phone with there "CSR" reps finally got the issue corrected and was promised that the full next months bill (July) would be credited to our account in the amount of $227.58- done one July 2nd. They infact applied this credit to my account, and now today July 18th I log on to my account to see the credit has been removed. Called in and was told "accounts revenue department" had removed the credit saying it was incorrect and not owed to us. They did this with out any notice and now say I owe 400 for July and aug bills, and the late fee for July. After a 50 min phone call with a CSR manager I get put on hold (after requesting there boss) for 61min and than get hung up on. I am not back on hold as I type this review (32min and counting). This company is full of scammers, liars, thefts, and cons. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! They will steal your money scam you lie to you and at the end of it all tell you it's your fault they suck.
Pricing needs to be lower, like the new programming just charge a little too much

La peor compañia de servicio, son unos estafadores, el año pasado desconecte en noviembre el servicio de canales y me hicieron ajustes en la cuenta y rebaje el bill pues este servicio no lo utilizo, por alguna reazon(mal trabajo de todos) supuestamente no desconectaron ningun servicio y siguiero cobrando el mismo bill modo autopay que lo tengo instalado con ellos, luego de darme cuenta el dia 5/3 llame y hable con una representante de nombre Jobana y me actualizo todo q tngo cartas firmadas por email y resulta que hoy vuelvo a revisar la pagina y esta el mismo bill, ademas q cdso llamo por telefono indican q tngo un dispositvo nuevo q ellos me enviaron para activar, ya eso se llama descaro y estafa pq estan jugando con mi dinero, siempre es lo mismo, necesito respuesta o tendre q tomar acciones directamente con algun abogado o canal televisivo
El peor servicio de internet que se pueda tener. Todos los años te suben el precio y te reclaman que pagues lo que tú no aceptaste según el contrato. Si se pudiera dar -100 ese sería mi calificación. Pésimo customer service pides hablar con un supervisor y te dicen que no están disponibles y siguen insistiendo que pagues algo por lo cual no estás de acuerdo.
No he tenido internet en todo el dia y cuando llame me informaron que estaban cambiando unos cables y si queria servicio tenia que incrementarlo $30 mas o sea total $100 y si cancelaba me cobrarian un penalty por abandonar el servicio. Cuando le dije yo no tenia un contrato con ellos pues fue lo que me dijeron cuando inicie con esa compania dijeron que me lo cobrarian porque no llevaba 6 meses con este nuevo plan.En julio hace 6 meses que estoy con este plan o sea 6 Meses llevo. Me atendio un supervisor Enrrique Avalos que fue muy prepotente,grosero y sin tacto alguno. Le pedi hablar con un manager y me dio un nombre Reeberto Lopez con el telefono *******708 dicho numero ni existe porque ni timbre daba. En fin un total desastre. No valoraron que llevo anos con ellos y que simplemente no puedo incrementar mis pagos de 70 a 100 porque ellos estan cambiando los cables. Ademas deberian haber avizado a sus clients antes de subir las tarifassin previo avizo. Una gran falta de respeto al cliente. Buscare donde poner una queja formal porque simplemente no puede ignorar al cliente.
No hagan contrato con estos delincuentes, cancele mi contrato a los 20 famosos dias de prueba. Tome TV e Mobile con ellos. Jmas cumplieron de inicio nada de lo ofrecido por el representante JUAN SEGURA, Adicional a ello, conectaria 7 lineas de telefono de las cuales no llegue a activar ni una. Me enviaron 2 SIM Card de las 7 las retorne y no me las aceptaron, pero ahora me estan cobrando servicio q nunca fueron activados y rechaazdos durante el periodo de gracias o prueba del primer mes. Es increible como los politcos atraves de los cabildeos y del dinero q les patrocinan estas grandes empresas permitan que se den estos atropellos no solo en esto, veamos seguros de casa, carro y un sin numero de abusos. Esto se exagero despues de la pandemia.
