Job (pronounce Hob) was fantastic on the phone. He was patient, understanding, and explained things really well. Now, I can re-set some items by myself, without having to contact Comcast and wait for hours. Representative before him was not helpful in any sense that they were unable to provide any next steps when they cannot solve the issue.
I reluctantly got a phone as the sales guy on the phone pressured me into a great deal. I tried to return phone, guy on phone says he'll email me a shipping label within 24hrs. I waited 48hrs, nothing. I call back and they say return deadline has past. At this time I tell them I only want the internet or I'm leaving this company entirely because I do not want to pay $30 for a phone I don't need. Instead they cancel the phone's service ($30/mo) and now want me to pay them $30/mo for a serviceless phone (equipment). Worst company ever. Throw a customer away after nearly 20 years for a Google Pixel 8. Low
I consider Comcast to be the most dishonest company in America.
They lie cheat and steal and are typical hypocrites when it comes to their advertising and customer service policies. In addition they hire politicians to keep them in front of the right judges with all of the many lawsuits against them!
Stay as far away as you can.
This price gouging useless trash of a company will charge you arm and leg then chokehold your bandwidth and limit your internet until they ask you for more money. Worst part is, they are at least a step above the rest. As if that is some kind of excuse for their incompetence and willing disregard for the importance of Internet in the modern day. They gladly take your money then seem offended that you want something in return for it. Like providing Internet is this mystical magical thing they have no control over. It's insane what these companies are allowed to get away with. The people who run Comcast should be ashamed. You're gatekeeping an essential resource. There is something fundamentally wrong with you.
I highly recommend not to purchase comcast xfinity services for Internet and mobile. The customer team is irresponsible and they will promise something and will return nothing. They promise that they will provide all communication and return call. But nothing happen. If you are planning for this service, ready to get frustrated and be ready to spend for your medical bills. I have been trying to get internet service to work at my home since December 2021, it's now March and it's still not working properly. I have had over 20 technician appointments since December and a super lazy supervisor and I still haven't gotten the issues fixed. But I'm done trying it's not even worth contacting corporate because I have been emailing back and forth with them over a month as well. Complete foolishness
I think comcast or Xfinity is a very bad internet provider. Internet at home is now essential. My internet is down now for 2 days, I called customer service, used their app, tried plugging and unplugging the modem, however the internet is still down. I had to schedule a tech visit, the earliest appointment is next Tuesday, which means I will stay for 5 days without internet. If Comcast is willing to respect its customers and provide a good quality service, they have to hire more techs and make sure these issues are resolved within 24 hrs, however they are not willing to do so, they are just willing to save money by hiring less techs and they don't care about their customers staying for almost a week without internet. Would highly recommend against Comcast and Xfinity.
Accidentally paid full amount. Immediately called back customer service and was given a refund ticket number. 3-4 days for refund. THREE WEEKS LATER, still no refund. 10 times I've called. The texting assistance is useless and found out even talking to someone is just as bad. I'm paycheck to paycheck. Couple hundred dollars goes a long way. Credit cards are maxed. Empty promises and assurances from them. On top of that I had to exchange for new equipment. Start the setup and it freezes. Tech support is useless as well. They've tried 4 times from their end and no help. I see a breakup happening. Has anyone been able to get through with these people?
Low-quality customer service, low knowledge of the products and services, and takes forever to contact an agent, I received an email confirming they received the equipment back and now they are asking for the same thing. This is the worst experience. I don't recommend this company :(. I will finish my contract and I'm done. Never again! 1 star is too much
I've been stuck with Comcast for 10 years. Internet works fine. But if anything goes wrong it is a 3-6 month customer support calamity. It's nothing against the representatives. They are usually quite courteous and eager to help. But once the call ends something happens. Either they're not trained how to retrieve past cases or they take actions that enter an abyss due to systemic failures. It's not uncommon to get rerouted to 5 different teams in less than a minute for each new agent because they have access to a very slim and isolated amount of information. I dread everytime i have to contact them.

Anytime I NEED support this company truly knows how to screw all ur WiFi and cable devised. Spent 2.5 hours on phone. Now all devices r not working. Thanks Comcast/xfinity for being the worst customer service int he country for soooo long.
Customer service is absolutely horrible. Worst I've ever encountered by FAR. I could go on about the lousy automated system, the instructions included with my new modem were wrong, their xfinity app wasn't working, and speaking good English should be important when providing spoken telephone support to English speaking people. Plus the service has problems daily, TV program gets stuck or goes black, the TV guide is wrong, internet bogs down... It is awful.
Comcast is one of the worst ISPs I've ever had. Internet constantly goes out, occasionally for 5+ hours, and there's no compensation or even productive explanation or plans to make it stop. Additionally, they build monopolies in areas, so you have no choice but to suffer with their inferior product.

I had a problem with my cell.phone. It had been going on for months, I didn't have time to call and thought it would resolve itself. I spoke with Katrina, Mel and Robert. The were EXCELLENT!. My issue was mostly resolved. They were super friendly and most of all...not robotic. I hate that. Kudos to you!

Yes I do get a break of $30 dollars on my internet.but then they charge but last month they forgot to take it off.They tried to blame me for there mistakes. So tomorrow I am calling them.I am changing my internet down 1 package and i am changing my cable down 1 package and returning 1 box. I will leave cable on for now for my brother but would like to have more choices.
I work remote. My internet service has been interrupted more times than I can count for "scheduled maintenance" that no one is told about. I have had to reschedule meetings and have dropped in the middle of presentations. Given the state of world today, there are more individuals working remote than ever before as well as children who are studying online. Comcast/Xfinity needs to put more thought into how this effects their customer's day to day life. Current state, I haven't been able to work in two days. The internet will be back on "by 1:58 PM", but I cannot get anyone on the line to speak to. I also work east coast hours and my day ends at 3 PM. This is the epitome of poor customer service. If I was given a heads up, I could at least go to a coffee shop or some other establishment with Wifi. Even then, if I was in the high risk covid category that may not even be an option.
I work or take classes in the evenings and I don't need a watch to know when it's 6:30 pm because my internet starts to choke, dropping zoom calls, freezing google meet, and spinning on videos. This is a nightly experience that lasts until 9 pm my time or later. Comcast/Xfinity throttles speed for lower-rate customers such as me (mind you, I pay for 100mbps service) so the big spenders can watch movies. Its better than ATT, when I used to go weeks with no service at all every few moths. But the throttling is a major problem.

Requested service for repair as this hasn't worked correctly in 2 years i sit now looking at tv screen that says no internet connection. So i wonder just what would a functional internet and cable cost since its 300.00 for service that doesnt work. By the way when i finally got someone on the phone they were adamant about NOT sending someone to fix it!. Its unfortunate they employ people like that to do customer relations.

As a student that does most of her work on her iPad, I can say that in the span of 2 hours of me studying, I had to restart the wifi router 5 times. It's so annoying to constantly have crappy internet. In my own household that is SUPPOSED to have wifi, i'm using data to access this safari page and write this bad review. If I could give them negative stars I would. -17/10 do not recommend if you would like to do work in peace.
Going on 2 months now since cancelation of service and no refund that I am due. Have contacted customer service 5 times and been lied to every time. Customer for over 10 years and they treat you like trash. I sincerely wonder how such a disrespectful company like this can stay in business. If possible, stay as far away from Comcast/Xfinity, spend your hard earned money with another company that earns your business.
My cable has been off in my bedroom for 3 weeks. They finally send a technician. Here's there for 2 minutes n says I need another wireless box. This is my 4th time picking one up. Crazy part is, I have to go to the xfinity store n get it myself. They don't give the technicians boxes anymore. WTF! I'm so tired of these people and there terrible customer service!

I bought an internet on Saturday and it was sad that I can take my equipment and connect in one(!) hour! Only on the third day one technician came and pulled the cable outside but did not put it inside the house. Four days passed and my home is still not connected! Some guy called me and wanted to set up an appointment on 5 January - do you want me to be without internet for almost one month!?! Basically, you violate your public offer, instead of 1 hour I wait for 4 days and do not have internet! No one sad and explained to me how much time I need to wait for the internet and how many technicians should come in order to have my home connected. Still, after 4 day I do not know when I get the internet.
I've been with them for a while because I'm a business owner. I own a restaurant and most of our orders are over the phone. They randomly cut off all of my phone lines 3 weeks ago and when I call them they want to charge me double and say that those lines never existed! For my business sake I gave in and I'm paying 180$ and it's been 3 weeks and no phone line. I want to end the membership but they won't let me and are still charging me because of a 'contact'. Horrible customer service and find someone else!
We got a new modem and all kinds of problems began, outages that lasted almost a week, with no phone and spotty internet, also have a business account. My biggest complaint is the sheer impossibility of reaching a live person and the complete lack of response to mounting frustration. For something this expensive, they could put a LOT more care into their automated system that loves to hang up on you, send you in circles and altogether turn you into a swearing adult meltdown.

Comcast is terrible company. As many Americans now work from home due to the pandemic. Comcast has frequent outages & services interruptions mid day of a work week. With no explanation or regard. Hire your technicians to work earlier or on weekends. Not middle of a workday. To reach a representative is damn near impossible. Highest bills on inflation with lack luster service. On top of all that they monopolize the service area, where u can't another retailer. At&t had no service in my area. I hate comcast i'll just take another alternative please! Trash $#*! service!
