Job (pronounce Hob) was fantastic on the phone. He was patient, understanding, and explained things really well. Now, I can re-set some items by myself, without having to contact Comcast and wait for hours. Representative before him was not helpful in any sense that they were unable to provide any next steps when they cannot solve the issue.

I reluctantly got a phone as the sales guy on the phone pressured me into a great deal. I tried to return phone, guy on phone says he'll email me a shipping label within 24hrs. I waited 48hrs, nothing. I call back and they say return deadline has past.

At this time I tell them I only want the internet or I'm leaving this company entirely because I do not want to pay $30 for a phone I don't need. Instead they cancel the phone's service ($30/mo) and now want me to pay them $30/mo for a serviceless phone (equipment). Worst company ever. Tip for consumers:
I just can't believe they think "oh he doesn't want to pay $30 for mobile service and a phone, let's cancel the mobile service and charge him $30 for non-working equipment!" Nothing but jackoffs at Xfinity.

After I received a coaxial cable instead of the promised modem, I contacted Xfinity numerous times. One of the numerous people I spoke with who sounded helpful and sympathetic promised a modem would be sent out that day to me. Silly me, I actually believed her. My package was delivered yesterday and it was----another coaxial cable. Another lie. I am beginning to think that Comcast/Xfinity has a culture of lying to customers. I can picture them getting together at a bar after work and trading stories of the whoppers they got their customers to believe.

Hurricane Beryl shut down Xfinity internet. Several days later there was Xfinitywifi but I still did not have my own wifi. After testing they said it was not their fault but agreed to send me an Xfinity modem. After several days a thin envelope containing a wire, no modem, arrived. Ensuing were about 10 phone calls where I was lied to, transferred to different departments, even had one Xfinity employee put me on hold and not return. Several of them had the nerve to ask me whether I wanted my cell phone service to be transferred to them (Why would anyone trust their cell service to them after all this?) How can they stay in business with this poor quality of service?

I am trying to set up Comcast internet for my move in December. I talked to a rep who said the 19.99 and 29.99 were the same price, $40 minus $10 for autopay. When I called 10 minutes later and talked to a different rep, I was told that this was not the case, that there are two different prices. I'm appalled.

Tip for consumers:
It felt bad being lied to, but now I know if I get one of their liars on the line to just hang up and call back until I get someone whose facts coincide with the online facts.

I was told that setup has to occur 30 days from my move in date so I have to call again next week.

After being a customer of Comcast Business for 10 years I would NEVER recommend Comcast. I renewed our contract in April for 2 years and was assured that my services AND billing would remain the same. The next billing cycle I received a bill for a bill $500 more than what I was paying. My prior bill was $728 and my will went to $1350. I have spent no less than 100 hrs since May 13 trying to fix this, being passed from one department to another. Billing blames retention and retention blames billing. BEWARE!

They win my vote as the single worst company in America. It starts at the top but I believe most of the top management all share in this award. I have been a business owner for many years and we have a google rating of 5 stars. I wish I could give Comcast a 0. Stay away if you can.

Tip for consumers:
Don’t be hassled by their horrible, totally horrible client service. Just sign up with another provider. Very happy day when I finally got rid of them

No one really needs Comcast anymore anyway but I would rather go without than deal with these frauds. Nothing they say is at customer service is true they simply tell you one untrue thing after another and hope you will give up. I can't say Verizon is better as I have never used them but I know Comcast well enough and they are dishonest in my opinion.

Don't take their word for it. Bill people will give you a run around. And try to cheat you should have been Honest when i called.Turned them in to BBB. Had to go to the store to find out the truth.Jack and Ben

I would have given a rating of 0 if I could. Canceled service, what a joke, no one speaks enough English to understand them. They only gave script responses. Turned my equipment in. They kept charging me for several months. Claimed they had no record of returned equipment! Refused to make adjustments back into my account. Caught them lying to me several times about what monies they took out even though I had proof via my bank. Stated that they continued to take out payments due to my auto pay was on. Asked them why didn't they cancel the whole account. She tried blaming it on me. I let her know I was unable to go into my old account and make changes. So in others words it's my fault cuz my auto pay was on. Never heard of a company not able to cxl the payment due. They refused to make the credit adjustments so Im out several months of service. She also said that it showed the cable to the house still on so we needed to pay. I had turned the equipment in 3 months ago. It's not my fault that you don't turn off service via the cable when I cancel. I will never recommend or have their service again. I have never written a scathing review before but this took the cake!

Comcast, I've got two big for the pants you have to text before they can transfer you to talk to a live agent enough or not enough is enough older people having problems with the new system and everything else that's going on in the world and come to this, the appreciation they give us by sticking with them, it's just plain terrible. They used to be the best. Definitely thumbs down.

Whenever there's a problem with my cable, it's impossible to get an agent on the phone. The automated system doesn't recognize or understand speech, even common phrases or phrases the automated system has already used. Even though I've already restarted the system, it insists on restarting again. It's the worst customer service I've ever experienced, for the most money I pay any utility.

I have Comcast at home and for my business which I'm about to cancel going back to AT&T, which honestly is a lot better than Comcast. Comcast is a scam and has done nothing but rip me off with all their overcharges.

They send the bill in the mail late so I'm forced to pay a late fee, they hardly ever answer the phone and my bill is way too high there is no way I should be paying $250 plus a month they promise to lower the bill until you get the next bill and it's the same or more. This place is a piece of $#*!

The most unscrupulous buisness practice I have ever delt with in my entire life. Stay away stay far far away. Unapproved Fees and customer service is atrocious. 5 hrs on hold to cancel a service that was canceled 3 months ago.

Hands down the worst customer service I have ever encountered in my entire life. You spent 40 minutes talking to the automated system only for them to hang up on you at the end. This has been going on for 20 years. It's time to get your act together, Comcast.

Been a quote. Loyal customer for 20 plus years. Lol bought a new modem from Best Buy lol I know. Trying to hook it up with there app well that won't work. Call customer service now the real lies start after over 1 1/2 hr they tell me until I return the junk modem of there's I can set mine up. I call bull $#*!. I need this for work so this won't work this way all buy the way my account is up to date and was never late. So the said a manager has the right to override this supposed rule. I waited another 45 mins with nothing. Finally I was told by customer service the manager would have to call us back. Lol it's been over 24 hr with no call back. This is now Sunday and need it for work Monday. So comcast xfinity can someone stop lieing and do there job. From a valued customer lol right. No just a paying customer with no customer service.

If Comcast weren't the only company that we could get internet and TV from I would not be with them. I had paid my bill in full and they've been taking money out of account that I did not give them authorization to take money out of and when I called billing on it they said oh no ' We didn't take any money today. Did I say today? No I didn't say today. So I ended up having to go to my bank and have everything reversed to get my money back and then they had the audacity to call me and ask me why my bill wasn't paid for one. My bill is not due till the end of the month too. Why should I give him money early when they're pulling crap and taking people's money when they're not supposed to.

Very dishonest
Signed new contract in June with "free" i-pad that actually costs $50 monthly.
One hour call to get through six representatives to be mysteriously disconnected by supervisor. Seems like a lot of dishonesty and trickery going on at Comcast. If you can get a different carrier, I would do it.

Contacting Comcast via telephone is essentially an exercise in futility. Always ridiculously long waits approaching an hour or more. I switched most of our service to Spectrum when we moved to Florida although some family members still have Xfinity cell phone service. Calling Spectrum is easy and fast. I much regret ever having anything to do with Comcast.

I am extremely pissed off at your service. I have your service 6 years and every 2 months you have to send a tech to my house to fix your crap. You have literally replaced everything from the modem to the line & everything In between. Then you have to make it impossible to talk to an agent. Fastest & best 5G internet around that don't work but a 1/4 of the time. What a joke... wish I had a list for as many times as your service guy has been here

Thieves. Wish we had another option where we live. Now they have added a data cap to rape us even more. Capitalizing on the fact that children are learning remotely and parents are working from home. There will be a special place in hell for Comcast.

Can anyone say "bait and switch"? Comcast (Xfinity providers) lures new customers in with decent entry pricing. After that brief period, they hike your rate up and up and up. Also, if you downgrade service, they use vindictive tactics like cutting your services off earlier than the agreed upon date, thus stealing the money you paid for the days they cheated you of. There isn't enough room on this page to enter all their flaws. Just don't take the chance getting ripped off by them in the first place. If you can use a different company, do so. Customer service reps are not adequately trained or their simply trained to rip off every customer and deny them what they pay for. The word "incompetence" immediately comes to mind.

Tip for consumers:
You never get your money's worth and they constantly raise your monthly bill.

Comcast was supposed to run service down my street 3 months ago. I was asked to set up service so I called and did. They never came down my street, and billed my bank account the first time, then billed my debit card the next month. Now this month I get charged 230.00 for early cancellation of my service. I called each month and each month the rep said they would take care of the problem which they never did. I highly recommend that you find a different company for your service because they will do their best to rip you off. I finally had to cancel my debit card and file a claim to get my money back which could take weeks to be reimbursed. I'm a disabled vet on a small pension and can't afford to give my money away.
If you don't want problems, don't use Comcast/Xfinity

Setting up my xfinity wifi, I experienced the worst customer service of my life. The previous renters had failed to pay a bill so our wifi was disconnected without our knowing. It took over 12 hours on the phone (being disconnected several times) and in store to solve the issue all the store employees were as nice as the could be, not their fault). If you value your time, use a different internet provider.

Comcast Internet is awesome, the digital cable is fine - although the DVR recording feature stink. Their prices are ridiculous and it's almost impossible to change your services - even if you want to upgrade. Upgrade fees and technician charges to upgrade to a higher priced package? Stupid. Also, do not try to use their chat option for anything. I have tried unsuccessfully twice to do things via their chat option, but always ending up calling customer service and it's so much better.

I moved into a new home that was technically at the same address as my landlady but a separate house. When I contacted chat support for help in ordering internet service for my rental house I was told flat that it was impossible to have two accounts at one address and they could not help me. After such lack of initiative in the agent or even probing questions to determine if there was a way around it, I turned elsewhere, only to find that in my neighborhood Comcast was the only game. Out of desperation I called their customer service and ran my situation by a very friendly phone agent. He informed me that they could definitely help me and as he knew I needed internet for my home business, he arranged to have a tech come immediately the next morning and for a discounted price in apology for the previous treatment. The tech that arrived was extremely pleasant, efficient, and knowledgeable. The end result made up for the initial failure completely.

Too expensive, too many commercials. Same movies and TV shows repeat over and over. Those in charge of Comcast are making a lot of money and are giving as little as possible to their customers, and no doubt their employees. I'd happily ditch this service, but I live with a senior citizen who isn't savvy enough to use the online streaming services that are so much more affordable, and offer superior content.
