I've shopped Cotton On for about a decade on two continents, both online & in a shop. The clothes are are well made and retain their shape even after dozens upon dozens of washes. When shopping online, they include a return postage label for stress-free products returns. Having worked retail in my younger years, I can mention to the disgruntled reviewers that most places don't accept returns if the tags are removed. That's pretty much standard. I appreciate the quality materials and modern fit for Cotton On products. Also, I've never had an issue with shipping. I don't usually write reviews but I don't understand the hate for this brand. ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
There is absolutely no other company that has customer service even close to as atrocious as this company. The company does not accept returns for their poor quality jeans. They are very deceptive. The stores give the impression that the company is on a level comparable to The Gap or American Eagle but they are very very tiny. The clothes look nice and fit well but do not hold up to a few washings. You have far better options for the same type of clothes.
Cotton On Australia is the best site for buying cheap gear. I have bought from them multiple times and as yet never had a problem. I have been very happy with the items i have bought, they have kept me up to date with the delivery via tracking numbers and emails, postage has been very quick and well packaged and I will continue to visit their site regularly. Check it out especially if your in Australia.

I never put reviews on things but was shocked to see how low the reviews on were here so I had to! Cotton on is a mainly Aussie/NZ brand that sells genuinely good clothing. Ive shopped here for 5+ years since I live in NZ so its always been around. Now I shop in store and online, never had a problem with clothing, quality and customer service on emails is amazing for any help. cotton.on is legit and trustworthy!

I am a pregnant woman who is always at work and always tired to go out and shop, I am in my first trimester you can imagine how miserable it is to be around people and shopping around for clothing, I thought I was making my life easier by shopping online, but hell no I just made life very difficult. I had to cancel my outing with my family because of Cotton on! I would never ever recommend their online shopping to anyone, not even my worst enemy! Their service is very bad and they making their agents live very difficult by failing to deliver in time and by not communicating with their customers, not the agents have to answer to $#*! they can not explain themselves, they know absolutely bull about when to expect deliveries!
I had to postpone everything because Cotton on could not deliver, I am beyond pissed, they are very incompetent and disgusted by their service and they just don't care. It is exactly a week and I have been waiting for a simple order.

Tried to return items that didnt fit. After a month they sent them back to me. No explanation. I tried to get help on the app Not helpful at all. Ridiculous explanation telling me I should go into a store and try something on before I order it online and the sizing can vary. I asked fir a store credit then instead of a refund. Nothing they could do. What's the point of doing online shopping if I can't return items they don't fit?

I have ordered 2 large orders from Cotton On and I have always been happy with the products except for 1 item being too small, for which a quick refund was given and 1 item which just didn't suit me (my own fault) all have been great quality, and here in New Zealand you can go into the store and swap sizes if you need to.
Overall, great website to shop from with awesome sales prices and variety, I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Their pants from size smalls to xtra larger have an inseam of "79". I asked thru chat 79 what? I have never had a more rediculous customer service experience. Claimed he is deaf so Michael doesn't understand me. Never got my answer. Scam site!

Folks, there are tooooo many other stores in this mall to sieve your time in this one. The clothes are no better than competing stores and their CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SO BAD that people 20 deep were waiting in line for only one very slow checkout. Many customers just left their intended purchases and walked out. When we approached another store associate about helping alleviate the customer line she said no! She there were only 3 of them in the store and culvert couldn't help. This is a company that clearly DOES NOT CARE. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!

There were fixtures with sweaters that all were the same with a tag that says up to $10 and they were $15. Nothing had the actual price until you get to the register. They have great stuff they don't have to play games with the price. It will sell itself.

I purchased a supposed rug from this website and when it came in, it was in no way a rug. When I tried to return it, they ignored my emails for 2 weeks. They finally sent me one asking for a picture of the item i purchased. I sent the picture and I haven't heard back from them. Also, when I initially purchased the item, the confirmation email was not in the company's name, but in the name of an individual. Poor poor quality and service. Definitely a scam!

I did a big order of clothes with cotton on during level 4 lockdown and my parcel was delivered so quick! One of the pants I purchased was the lounge pants for home. I did not try them on until 2 days later, come to find a split in the right pant leg. I spoke to an online person name Sammy who cleared the problem quick and said she had made a new order for a new pair of lounge pants to be sent out. This was all on Thursday16/09/21 and I just received the package consisting of the new pants today (Monday 20/09/21). I am so impressed and so grateful!

I placed an order online in October. It is December 4th and I still have not received a refund for this order OR any correspondence since my last email on 11/29 regarding the fact that my card STILL hasn't been refunded for an order placed in October. I tried to be patient and get this resolved before leaving a review but this is the WORST customer service I've experienced and hope to save others the hassle, time and money. I have received no updates whatsoever and I've had to reach out to them multiple times to try to figure out what's going on with this order, I've been told multiple things, including 1. My items were shipped and returned to sender, 2. That they would be shipped again… not once but twice, and then 3. Finally and unfortunately (since I missed the opportunity to buy similar items elsewhere during a sale, AND this was a gift for my daughters bday) that they were out of stock and would refund my card in 1-5 business days in which it STILL hasn't been refunded as of today 12/4…this was on 11/22. Two of the times I reached out for an update I had absolutely NO response whatsoever including trying to find out when my card would be refunded, this was on 11/29. I understand it's the busy time of year but this is terrible business and from a customers perspective, completely unacceptable. I will NEVER spend another dime at this store again for myself or my 3 daughters. I would have put 0 stars but I had to choose at least 1.

I ordered something online, and cancelled order due to delivery day taking too long, then you wait days for a refund, and no one is helpful on the chat site, everyday is just another 1 to 5 days, they dont state working days... just 1 to 5 days, and then you wait till they decide your refund can get attention now. They dont wait 1 to 5 days for your payment, but you must wait 1 to 500 days for help

I had made an online purchase and after purchasing I realize I selected the wrong size for the shoes, order was just in "Progess" and I reached out to customer service ASAP regarding this matter and asked if they could just change the sizing for me. He/she said they cannot amend the order and I would have to cancel my whole order and repurchase everything again and if that was the case a few items in my bag are sold out and it's not guaranteed I would get the same items (never heard this in my life!) now, I'm just waiting for my child's shoes to arrive just so I can send them back for a refund. By far the worst return policy I've ever experienced especially during Covid when all of their fitting rooms are closed. Bought something missing the tag, they rung it up no problem, however when I went to return them I was unable to do so because they didn't write on the item that there wasn't a tag. I was unable to return, to get in store credit, or to even just exchange the size. I was treated extremely poor. I should have not been sold the item if there wasn't a tag with them knowing I wouldn't be able to return or exchange the item. If they are going to close their fitting rooms you should at least be able to exchange an item for a different size no matter what.

Purchased earrings for my niece for Christmas but were not delivered. Just today they were returned to me anomalously. In the meantime I had called and they refunded me as they couldn't promise that I would get them on time so I purchased a gift card to give to her just a few hours ago and still haven't gotten the printable card but the Money is out of my account.So I called and told customer service was returned the earrings and wanted to use the gift card as I was being an honest person, I was told no, may I remind that I still don't have the gift card but I have the Id number for the purchase. I was just trying to be honest and I don"t shop here it is not a store that I use. They just HUNG UP ON me! Terrible SERVICE!

Purchased a large order during lockdown worth $350. The order was unavailable to be tracked. After 9 weeks I followed up the order only to be told it's been delivered. Their online chat is a joke and doesn't work at all! You sit and wait in a fake queue for hours. Once you start the chat, don't make any other comments until the computer talks to you otherwise you go to the back of the queue again! But be aware that the entire chat will most likely fail and no resolution will be given.
There are no contact details on the website so you go around and around in circles and they take you back to their FAQS over and over again.
Taking advice from their FAQS, it says the best way to resolve is to go in store. When this was done, the manager said that they can't help as they have no ability to view online orders in store. He also advised that their customer service inquiries line was shutdown. (What company doesn't need a customer inquiries line?)
They told me to take it up with the delivery company and washed their hands of it.
Never purchase online from Cotton On.

In Danbury Ct, I purchased $65 cargo pants. I got an xs and they did not fit me correctly. When trying them on I could not clearly see if the pants fit with the folded over tag the cargo pants had. I went to return or exchange or get store credit or anything. I was denied. I had the receipt, same form of payment and tags when I brought it to the Danbury fair mall cotton on store. When I purchased the pants nobody told me tags have to be attached in order to return. I am SO upset and will never shop there again. The women that took "care" of me did not explain nothing to me just "that's our only return policy" in a very rude tone. I asked if there was anything I could do she rudely just said no and sent me out the store. I'm very upset because I never worn the pants and I purchased less than 3 days ago as of march 25th and today is march 27th. I've always like cotton on but maybe it I have to stick with garage to return without issues. Also, I've worked retail and stores are provided with the tools to attach tags back and reprint them. It made zero sense to me. The tag was located in front of the pants and I couldn't tell if they fit or not so I took one tag off. This is RIDICULOUS.
