CMT ( Commercials Mostly Television)

Why is it to view this channel you have to pay for it, via cable, satellite or other pay TV media BUT YET try to watch a simple movie which original release run time was average 90 minutes ( 1.5 hours) and then CMT edits out the original movie viewing and then stretches the air time out 150 minutes ( 2.5 hours) so that not including what was edited out to add more commercials your paying to watch an additional 1 hour of commercials.
DOES THIS MAKE SENSE to pay to watch this channel whos being paid from the commercial sporcers to broadcast, Its a win win for CMT but what a bend us over to want to watch this channel
