I'm in love with crate & barrel. There's a crate&barrel at my nearby mall and I always stop by there to just drool over all the pretty kitchen stuff, rugs, etc. The website is also really good except it constantly tempts me to buy everything on there. Make sure you have a shopping list of what you need or else you might spend too much!
A package was delivered to my home address and left outside of my delivery box. My neighbor was kind enough to put the box left on the step in my mail delivery box. The next day the delivery person went into my mailbox and took the package. Crate and Barrel customer service said they couldn't do anything. They basically said that they outsource delivery and wouldn't investigate the matter. They seem unconcerned about one of their delivery people illegally retrieving things from a residential mailbox without notifying the resident.

Great Home Decoration and Accent website. Has the typical climbing shipping rate as your purchase price increases. Otherwise, great merchandise, classy, savvy. Pretty big inventory it seems. Lots of seasonal categories.
I Love Crate & Barrel, but they need them more North in New Jersey. Only have the opportunity when on the turnpike going south, but its always on my agenda. Always delicious like homemade food for a reasonable price. Excellent service.
Took my son and his two young sons to Cracker Barrel. They had something for everyone's taste. Great place to take the kids, adults too. Menu had a good variety on it and food was good. Will go again.
Crate and Barrel is always fun and engaging. Reasonable prices abound. Creative merchandise is everywhere. The only downside is that if you have bought a set of dishes or glassware, you cannot depend on the same line being there over time.
I was at the store in Novi, Michigan picking up an order. When I pulled up I was helped by a nice young guy with a fun handlebar mustache named Matthew. He had a great smile and was truly enthusiastic about his job. It was nice to see someone greet me - I mean in this day and age to actually acknowledge me and make eye contact is a rarity. I had quite a few items and some were very heavy. It was not the best weather out and he still wanted to make sure that everything was loaded nicely and would not shift. I really appreciated his concern for the items and for me while driving. Thanks Matthew for making this pick up easy and restoring my faith in society!
Well it looks like slave and honey today barrel is fearing too well. Just really bad, people come in sick red nosed. Get you sick take points away, instead of hey go home your sick. Nobody really cared. Offer people jobs answerinh phones that have no gift to grab. 0 rating. I should be their manager.
Wow. These people are unbelievably bad. I understand that it's the holiday season, but not only do they not respond to communication, when I FINALLY reached someone, they were snarky and just flat out lied. The delivery date for my order changed multiple times. It arrived today, and one of the items is broken. I'm not even going to do anything about it because they are so difficult to deal with. Also, don't try calling them for missing information about a product. They'll read to you from the website. They used to be a respectable company with quality service and merchandise. Not anymore. I'm beginning to think I'm going to have to go back to shopping at retail stores and not online. They take your money and then F you.

Ordered a custom chair and sofa in August. Credit card was charged in October. December 7, and nothing has been delivered. Called them and spent two hours on the phone with customer service. They knew it had been shipped - they just couldn't locate it. Offered a store credit and we said no - we wanted a full refund. Said they would have a supervisor call us back within 5 hours. Nothing. Called the next business day - same exact scenario Final put in a dispute with the credit card company, which is refunding us our money, and hopefully sticking it to Crate & Barrel. We have always been very satisfied with them, until now. Stuff like this can happen, for sure. But to have such lousy customer service in this day and age is irresponsible.
I purchased a couch in January 2022. It is July 2022 and the couch is STILL not here. Customer service gave me the run around and kept saying it was a "global supply chain issue" but then told me the couch is manufactured within the United States? It doesn't make sense. I received a call today (July 6th) that the couch is ready WHOO HOO, but can't be delivered until mid-August! The sales person at the store (Robert at Avalon- Georgia) giggled on the phone when I told him how frustrated I was, and he said "yea, that's an unfortunate situation." I will never purchase from Crate and Barrel again, and I will tell everyone that will listen of this awful experience. What a horrible way to run a company. If you can't walk out the store with it... don't order it!
I purchased a couch in 2016. I noticed a few of the cushions of small areas where the seam is ripping. They provided absolutely no warranty resolution for this issue, instead they blamed me for "moving residents" and/or "vacuuming". Their solution was to either purchase an entirely new couch (of course through them) or purchase new cushions IF they still made the same couch. This is absolutely appalling considering how much you spend on products through this company. Their warranty policy is 30 days after purchase of product which is comical! I do not recommend purchasing anything through this company and will not be purchasing anything else through them. The customer service is ridiculous and extremely disappointing. Anything damaged or "wear and tear" will be your fault and they will not provide any way to fix the product unless you SPEND MORE MONEY WITH THEM

I get stuff from here all the time for my house. The price is reasonable. Some people call it expensive but it's actually not for the type of stuff you get. They have new stuff to match every season which is why I love this store. Keeps my house on trend.
The gentleman that completed our assembly did an awesome job. He was on time, friendly, took precautions regarding safety, COVID, issues. Got the job done extremely quickly and efficiently. Was careful with the new product he was assembling, our floors, etc. We are very happy with this experience and appreciate the opportunity to let you know how well this service was performed. There were no 16x20" slabs to be found anywhere for under $75.00! I tried everywhere! Crate and Barrel had even bigger ones (16"x24") for only $49.99! I just checked the price, now. They have only gone up $10.00! I paid 10.00 and some change for shipping, 5 something for tax, and it was still 15 dollars less than everyone else not including other people's shipping and taxes. Forgive my messy hair in the image. I am so multitasking today it isn't even funny. Anyway, this slab is 3/4" thick! I love it! I can roll out my doughs and put it back behind the rolling cabinet when not in use. It matches my marble rolling pin, too. I don't accept compensation for reviews. I do this to help people stuck on what to buy and where to find it like I was. You probably won't find a slab this size cheaper.

On June 7 I ordered an apron for my nieces bridal shower on July 9. A simple apron, NOT monogrammed or special, just an overpriced apron. It is August 4 and just yesterday I got an email letting me know my gift has shipped. At no point did customer service reach out to let me know that my order would be delayed for two months. Our family was wondering why we didn't send a gift. It is embarrassing. We aren't in covid lockdown anymore and shipping issues have been resolved by all the other companies I order from. So, this will be the last purchase I ever make at Crate and Barrel. Pottery Barn is basically the same store with far better customer service and product availability. You guys do not know how to treat your customers.

Crate and Barrel should have warned me at the p.o.p. That my order may not be shipped out immediately. Then when supposedly shipped to the wrong address, they should have notified me but they didn’t. I will never shop at this company again and I don’t care if someone is registered there. I will send them cash instead.

I ordered gifts for a bridal shower. They didn’t ship them and when contacted, now they are saying the products were shipped but to the wrong address. ‘Of course I don’t have an email saying the products were every shipped. Now they reshipped and put the date Aug 1 in place of the actual date I ordered which was June 7. Two months later and the gifts have STILL NOT been received. What a shady company.
On June 27,2020 I ordered three items off of a bridal registry at Crate and Barrel. All items were in stock. When they finally arrived two of the three were broken. I texted, called, and emailed trying to get the items replaced in time for the shower which was on August 8th. When I finally got the replacements one was correct and the other was just an entirely wrong item. More texts, more phone calls (after two hours on hold for each call I finally hung up), and more emails which included sending pictures of the correct item repeatedly, and I finally received the correct replacement on August 6. From start to finish, for my one order, I received 22 emails from Crate and Barrel customer service and at least three texts, Not to mention the multiple hours I spent on hold hoping to talk to a human being. Fortunately, the bride-to-be did get her items. However, at the shower two other gifts from Crate and Barrel were opened and found to be broken. Such a shame! Terrible customer service.
Crate & Barrel has clearly decided they don't need to answer customer calls, messages, or questions anymore. I ordered two bookshelves online; the product page said they were available. When I get the receipt, it says they are backordered. I called and called Crate and Barrel. Was put on hold for 30 minutes at a time, asked to be called back, never received a call back. Message them on Twitter, only to get answers hours later. Turns out one of the shelves they charged me for wasn't even available. I don't need this kind of cr*p, will not be shopping there anymore--and will advising others to do the same.
Hello - in November of 2020, we ordered a sectional couch.
We were told it would be delivered by the holidays. Didn't get the couch until the end of February. While the delivery crew was unpacking the couch, several roaches jumped out from the packaging. Obviously, we refused the delivery.
Called management, promised to deliver a replacement couch in 2 weeks. 4 weeks later a replacement couch was delivered. After the installation and a brief inspection, there were several defects identified. Crate and barrel sent an inspector. Inspector confirmed the defects and ordered another replacement couch.
Today, May 10, another replacement couch has been delivered only to find that it was our original couch (with roached) packaged and shipped back to us.
This is unbelievable. What kind of business Crate and Barrel is running now. Used to be a very trusted company.
Another of my passions & hidden pleasure, my kitchen. Oh no! Never enuf dishes, never enuf beautiful & creative ways to make & serve dishes. This store outdoes them all. If you want a new gadget, they have it. Just look here for a way to decorate & you go nuts with all the options for color choices that you can pop on a counter or in a cabinet! This place is too marvelous.
When we ordered a ceiling light on Crate and Barrel, decided to add the Handy installation service and so happy we did. The individual that installed the light was on time for the install, efficient and light looks great. It is challenging to find reliable service these days and again, the install was efficient and looks great. Thank you.
I used to recommend this store, but I have been experiencing lousy service and the worst delivery I have been seeing in Miami. I've trying to receive a mirror for two months, and they didn't go into my client's home ( with elevator reserved and COI submitted). They sent a message and with you not see at the time they even go there. I'm trying to reschedule and do all the work again. But we need to wait more than two months to reschedule. Now, I'm trying to cancel this order, but I can't do it at all. They asked me to wait for more 24hrs, System problems! OMG! I haven't seen anything similar! Good products, worst customer service. I don't recommend it anymore

Ordered a couch a year ago and finally received it and half the couch was missing. We were told the other half was coming 2 months after the first delivery. Waited around for 3 hours and the delivery truck came and the couch wasn't even on the truck. Horrible customer service and now we are waiting for the next time our couch may come, I have my doubts. Tried to return and we were denied!
I ordered their own name brand high end down flled sectional, a little over a year later the cushions are all indented and floppy, the down literlly broke down so the cushions do not even stand on their own. I contacted them, in fact, emailed them four times to see what they could do for me. They requested a photograph, although I do not know why since they have not even given me the courtesy of a follow up, it has been over a month. They clearly do not care, so do yourself a favor and do not order from them.
Before I bought my couch, I read reviews about C&B customer service but unfortunately I did not listen. I want to warn anyone who is thinking of buying a sofa from C&B: DON'T DO IT! I went to the Pasadena store so I could work directly with a salesperson, decided on a light colored fabric, was a little nervous so I repeatedly asked (over the course of more than 2 hours) if the fabric would hold up. I was assured that I would have no issue with the fabric, and was told I could spill wine on it and there would be no problem.
Nothing was spilled on the couch, very, very light use for the 1st six months, however stains appeared. I was having company over, and was so embarrassed that I turned the cushion over and realized that the entire cushion was discolored. My house is very clean, but this still happened (see photo). Customer service said there was nothing they could do for me and told me to try having it cleaned by a professional. They took no responsibility for what I was told repeatedly in the store by their salesperson.
C&B responded saying this was unusual, but offered nothing to help.
