I'm in love with crate & barrel. There's a crate&barrel at my nearby mall and I always stop by there to just drool over all the pretty kitchen stuff, rugs, etc. The website is also really good except it constantly tempts me to buy everything on there. Make sure you have a shopping list of what you need or else you might spend too much!
A package was delivered to my home address and left outside of my delivery box. My neighbor was kind enough to put the box left on the step in my mail delivery box. The next day the delivery person went into my mailbox and took the package. Crate and Barrel customer service said they couldn't do anything. They basically said that they outsource delivery and wouldn't investigate the matter. They seem unconcerned about one of their delivery people illegally retrieving things from a residential mailbox without notifying the resident.
Christopher was excellent! Timely, knowledgeable and got the job done to my request! No problems st all
Love Crate and Barrel, especially the order online and pick up option. Just wish the prices were a little lower
I love to eat there then go into there shopping area so many thing that i have not seen since i was a kid
I love this company because they help me to organize and look good while I'm doing it! Plus they are clean, clean, clean!
I liked the 'most loved' feature of the registry. It's easy to use for experts and novices. It's one of 2 registries my son and fiancee use.
I really like their furniture. It is great quality stuff that is reasonably priced. I got patio furniture that I really love.
I love these guys! They always do a great job! They are always fun to go visit, even if you aren't willing to buy anything there
My delivery was set for a Saturday, and the crew came on time. Unfortunately, they said they could not deliver my couch because our elevator was too small. The crew also said that they would need at least two more people (there were two crew members initially) in order to navigate the furniture up the stairs.
What I find most disappointing is that at a Crate & Barrel, you're used to receiving white glove service at the store. So I expected that someone from Crate & Barrel would have initiated the conversation about fit and sizing prior to delivery instead of discovering at that moment of delivery that it wouldn't work. Doesn't Crate & Barrel deliver hundreds of couches a week? Shouldn't Crate & Barrel be experts at delivering furniture? A quick Google search reveals that they have been in business since 1962. It's reasonable to assume that they would either ask for measurements ahead of time or have a database of neighborhoods, homes, and buildings they've delivered to before and ask the right questions ahead of the delivery date.
To make matters worse, I had to call Crate & Barrel three times to try and get traction. Each time they said that the delivery crew had yet to report back. They were not able to schedule re-delivery until the delivery crew reported back. At the same time, they will deliver your furniture on a Saturday. They won't do anything else, like, say, note that they were unable to deliver it.
For the furniture and delivery costs, I expect Crate & Barrel to secure measurements ahead of time and to react quickly to reschedule when furniture cannot be delivered. Crate & Barrel should be experts at furniture delivery, supply chains, manufacturing, etc.
Pricey on large items, but nice soaps and bowls, candle cups, saches. Nice for wedding and anniversary type gifts.
This website is a killer. I can find a wide range of home decor items here. Beautiful craft items and lovely collections of dinnerware and cookware.
So, the damaged product I received after waiting 5 months revealed the Tate Media Console is mostly walnut veneer with no identifiable "solid' components. I put this in my review, they "moderated" the content (deleted photos & text), posted only my one-star rating & replied I may edit my review - but neither the website nor app allows one to edit or leave another review. SHADY business practice…So, here's my review and pics, you decide (and don't buy the console unless you'd like to drop $1,100 for a piece that isn't advertised).
"Waited 5 months for a credenza which was smashed inside of an undamaged box. Disappointed to say the least but more disappointing was what the damage revealed: it's mostly veneer when the listing said both solid and veneer. I have no clue what parts were solid but can attest from the damage such components which SHOULD easily be solid (doors and drawer fronts, top/floor of console box) were indeed veneer atop pressed wood composite which flaked from the damage. Walnut is a solid and strong wood, so if the base or bottom 'floor' of the box was solid, why attach an iron plate for strength? Whoever C&B contracted with to construct this piece placed a damaged credenza into a crate for shipment to Ryder Last Mile, the back of each drawer face had divots around drawer slides which couldn't be from transit (veneer), both doors were smashed-in (veneer) & the top surface edges dinged with NO damage to the exterior or interior packing materials. A swing and a miss but most disappointing was the poor quality- I'm certain this piece would not hold up to movers if it had such heavy damage during the exceptional packing for initial shipment: reminds me of the cheap Sauder furniture of the 1980's which smashed every time the Navy moved us."
Tip for consumers:
When you see the response from customer service that the review can be edited but there’s no review text or photos - interpret that as there was something damning about C&B’s business practices or the product that C&B doesn’t want you to know.

The Ofelia dining chairs are great, I kept both chairs ordered but the credenza - there’s no way I’m keeping an $1,100 veneered spoof of what should be mostly solid.
Míguel was quick, efficient and extremely professional. I will seek his services in the near future.
I like the store all good, the family enjoys it and we are usually very happy there.

I had only the greatest experience with them. So I think it's an excellent service
As a loyal C&B customer (before this experience) I was excited to see this product (Ooni Large modular table) available on C&B's website. Unfortunately, my excitement was short lived and my loyalty to C&B broken. The product was shipped standard delivery via Fedex. There was a shipping exception and the product arrived a few days late in a slightly beat up box. Upon opening the product I discovered the tabletop had a sizable dent. I quickly informed C&B and they put in an order for a replacement with expedited delivery. Product issues happen but I wasnt too enthused with the prospects of repackaging this mammoth product in its damaged box. The replacement arrved a week later and this time the package was even worse shape. It looked like it had been dragged upon a truck. When I opened the box my fears were realized: the tabletop had a significant dent yet again! I did some research and found a few other complaints indicated that Ooni tables arrived dented (see Reddit). Not sure if this is the manufacturer's or C&B's issue but I expect C&B to make it right! Faced with the prospect of returning 2 mammoth damaged packages i (the return label for the first had not been sent to me yet), I contacted Crate and Barrel to propose that I ignore the denting and receive a 'final sale' discount rather than risk yet another damaged shipment. I was shocked when the best they could was $40 off. I'm not trying to be enrich myself but at this point I had spent almost two hours communicating with Customer Service, buying replacement packing materials and repackaging the defective products. I told them the denting was too signifcant to the aesthetic to accept that amount and that I would instead return both boxes for full refunds. As I courtesy for the inadequate shipping materials I asked that their delivery team pickup the items but they refused. This I am now out of pocket about $50 for materials to reship. What a horrible experience. If you are considering purchasing from CB or this product I would advise you to find a local seller so you can personally inspect the items before purchasing and taking possession. This will allow you to avoid the hassle. The convenience that C&B online offers may proof to be an illusion. It certainly was for me!
Online just as good as in the store. Excellent shopping experience!
Great products and reasonable prices with high quality and prompt shipping
Great sales. Quick shipping or option to pick up at local store!
I bought nice Ice cream cups in Tulip shape at reasonable price of under $2 each.
