I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the terrible service I've received from Cult Beauty. Over a month ago, I placed an order that never arrived. It feels like my parcel was either stolen or never sent at all. Despite multiple follow-ups, I was left waiting for an entire month before Cult Beauty finally responded, only to demand a police report from me. After jumping through hoops to provide the report, I was shocked when they decided, without consulting me, to send a replacement. This is completely unacceptable. After waiting over a month and having already purchased the products elsewhere, I wanted a refund, not a replacement. Their decision to send a replacement without considering my preference shows a total lack of respect for me as a customer. The customer service experience has been nothing short of infuriating. They have been unhelpful, dismissive, and completely ineffective. The way they handled my situation has made it clear that they do not value their customers. I will never use Cult Beauty again, and I strongly advise others to avoid them as well. This experience has been deeply frustrating and disappointing. Cult Beauty's service is horrendous, and their disregard for customer satisfaction is unacceptable. Avoid Cult Beauty at all costs!

I will be taking legal action against this company as many, many reviews indicate that they are doing the same thing they did to me systematically to others. I will also be opening up a website (check back) for those affected to get in touch to join this legal case. I will of course get a reply to say it is being handled by customer service, but this is how they give people the run around.
Here is what happened:
I made an order worth over 200 pounds for next day delivery. This got stuck with Evri on a loop with them saying 'delayed'. I was asked to waited 2 days after Evri stopped updating. Fair enough, and I did. I then got in contact again. I was told a replacement was requested and I would receive a despatch confirmation 'shortly'. I did not receive one shortly nor longly. So I again got in touch. They then told me the replacement is only a request, that it is on hold to give it time for the order to be confirmed as missing or returned to them, and only an apology for being given the wrong information. If it is not returned to them nor confirmed as missing by Evri (which they very often do not confirm) then I do not even know what will happen. I have been led on, clearly. And this process could go on indefinitely. They have my money, and I do not have the products they are contracted to have gotten to me. Evri has clearly lost or stolen the package (as is more than too often the case), they know this and are, in essence, insisting on not taking responsibility for getting the products to me in a timely fashion. I got offered 5 pounds for the inconvenience(!). It is Cult Beauty that should deal with the problem they have with the package. Not me. I am a relatively new customer and was looking forward to using Cult Beauty as my go to, there are 5 females in my household who collectively spend a lot on beauty monthly and instead of having gained a lot of business from us, they instead have gotten a negative review. Looking at the other reviews, I am clearly not the only one with the same issues. Also, just have a look at redd*t and io reviews and you will see how dreadful they are. You will also find that employee ratings on glassdoor indicate the whole company is in shambles. I wish I checked all this before giving them my money which they have essentially stolen. Shame on Cult Beauty. I will be leaving negative reviews relentlessly everywhere, letting social media know where I can, creating a chargeback and dispute with my bank, informing trading standards and such organisations and initiating a group legal case if this does not get sorted very quickly.
Hermes carelessly left my parcel on my front door without being authorised to do that. The parcel got Stolen- surprise surprise. Driver did let me know that he will deliver after he actually did so no chance to re schedule. Hermes responded to my email apologising and letting me know the next steps- cult beauty to re send the parcel and claim refund from them. BUT after aprox 10 emails and reaching out on all available platforms there is NO response from Cult beauty customer service…. Really sad as I liked ordering from them in the past.

Unfortunately I cannot issue a replacement as there is not shipment/tracking number.

I ordered an item for click and collect but the retailer refused delivery. Cult Beauty did not believe me even though I said the same thing to them 101 times only to get a generic reply. Evri didn't return the item to CB and marked it as delivered to neighbour.
I told them multiple times to check the delivery address was the Newsagent and not me.
In the end they refunded me and closed my account Very poor customer service
What a disappointment of a company... If you have problems with your order or you need a refund then brace yourself with a lot of patience and be ready to get super frustrated. I placed an order a month ago and got in touch for a refund. They told me that will be processed in 48 h... 1 month later and 20 messages later and the refund is still not there. Avoid this company. I know they have a good selection of products but you can find different websites that will have the same and at the same time respect for their customers
They are the worst they closed my account and my address because there was some problem with my product and I can't do anything. And the post office is responsible for this happening.

Horrible customer service, the order that never arrived and hours waisted on phone calls and emails! If you want to be left without gifts for holidays- this is a service to use. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!
My items came in time actually very fast, nice packaging and all items in perfect condition. They have a wide variety of makeup brands that are very popular, they explain in detail about the makeup product as well. Also carry skincare and haorcare products. Will definitely go there again to buy high end makeup or makeup you cant get in the uk.
My order has not been received. I am being fobbed off by terrible customer service, who do not read messages or respond accordingly. Had I not received goods from them previously I would have thought that I was being scammed. I am starting to wonder if the delay tactics are because the Company is about to go under.
AVOID. Think twice about using this company. Ordered 4 items, never arrived. Queried, told 3 of the items were out of stock and the 4th item would be reordered. This never arrived. It is clear that there is systemic failure combined with poor customer service within this company. AVOID.
I ordered here several times - if they don't mess up your order you'll be fine. If you need customer service or they make a mistake, good luck contacting their "7 days a week" customer service.
I have no idea if I will eventually receive my order - I have a shipping number but TrakPak never received or processed my parcel. If not, at least I paid with Paypal and will be able to get my money back.
The two times I bought from this shop I had problems, products where missing, did not receive the refund but to stall, they say that they have issued a refund, bur it's a lie, you never see the money.
With so many stores of this kind, I would advise not to shop with this one.

My latest order was cancelled by Rocio, with no follow up email explaining the reason... I had to email them to find out why.
My order was cancelled because I already ordered the maximum amount of this product 8 days (1 week and 1 day) ago - that's why Rocio unjustly cancelled my order.
Meanwhile another customer care consultant (Wonu) told me "we allow customers to order this maximum amount no more than once a week."
So which one is it, does it depend on what your mood is like for the day?
Last I checked 8 days = a week ago, for anyone who can do simple math and read a calendar.

I want to give negative star if I can! On the web page of the items I want, it doesn't say that it does not ship to the US. Not until I added to the cart and try to checkout, it says sorry the items are not able to ship to the US. Also, you can not find anywhere on the website saying any particular brand does not ship to the US. There was no any written notice or explanation whatsoever about why the items are not able to ship to the US. Very disappointed. Worst shopping experiences out of all the UK website I had shopped with.
Do not order from this store, I urge you to buy from any other retailers but not them! The WORST customer service ever. I never received my product as it was sent back to the receiver on April 19th and I am still waiting for my money. The CS agents do not understand the situation, I am a ping pong ball in an infernal loop.

Cultbeauty lost my package while shipping, they couldn't provide delivery confirmation, they won't refund my money and they ask me to contact post office to find my package by myself. The tracking number they gave me shows that USPS is currently awaiting your package. The package is never delivered and Cultbeauty won't issue refund. I will never buy from cultbeauty again.
I ordered over £200 worth of goods, and one of them (Nudestix) arrived damaged - no packaging, no sharpener, and looks like it has been used. I notified the customer service immediately and returned it for a replacement. Well, it has been a month and no replacement yet. I think the replies I am getting to my messages are generated by a chatbot. Avoid!

Disappointing service compared to other beauty stores.
After a huge overnight reaction to an expensive cream I bought, I was asked a myriad of questions before they agreed to refund me.
The usual,"are you sure it isn't you?" instead of taking the customer at her word.
And to add insult to facial injury, the returned package has apparently never been received.
I have no proof because unfortunately, Cult Beauty does not provide a QR code or other form of code that can be scanned, hence the post office was unable to scan and print out a proof of return.
Instead you have to write out the Freepost label yourself.
So, for anybody wanting to make use of their returns promise, you'd be better off going with another business. I am out of pocket because their process is somewhat archaic and leaves all the risk with the customer.
It is also unfortunate that when I asked them to remove all my details as I no longer wanted to be their customer, they jumped at the chance. A better customer services response would have been to have someone more senior reach out to me.
Moral to the story - buy from Cult Beauty at your own risk.

Such a horrible shopping experience, no words can describe it.
I've placed an order on 31st October, silly me hoping this would spare my nerves when it comes to last minute Christmas shopping. The site promised the delivery in 15-17 days (UK to Malta). 28 days in still no indication when the parcel will be delivered. Apparently the parcel got damaged/there are items missing. Investigation taking place etc.
I understand the company is not liable for delivery damages.
I would have much more understanding, if there was a remotely capable team of people behind customer support. Live chat down at all times (wonder why).
The only form of communication is though messages which 1. Are normally replied to in 24/48h and 2. Seem automated, as if a person was following a script given, or worse automatically written by an AI.
No help whatsoever given at any time.
I am waiting to see what useless excuse will be given in order to avoid compensation for damaged/lost.
Take my advice, and DON'T order from this website.
