CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNT! Somebody need to report this site for fraud. They are ripping off users by debiting your money. This is what they are saying when caught "We would like to bring your attention to the fact that all packages on our site are re-billable by default"
This site sending members messages on behalf of each other... they want you think something going on and keep you busy. I recieved a few messages from scamers and all of them were living out of USA. When I signd up later found out I been cherged for VIP as well. I message them that they should not charge me for VIP and I want my mony back, finelly they did. Also, my back changed my card witout charging me for it because I explain what happened. SCAM
Been burned many times! I was not going to join another app, but I saw an add aboutcupid. I gave it a few weeks and then met a few decent guys. I am still dating the second one I met.
Used it for one month, never signed auto pay, totally forgot about the site, ended up paying 245 dollars instead of $34.99, am filing dispute with paypal who allowed this thieves to access my account, and they are located in Australia, no customers services, warning you, DON'T JOIN EVER.
Cupid sites are a bunch of thieves who pray on sometimes vulnerable and isolated people seeking companionship.
I hope the company gets what is coming to it
Disgruntled &co
As a free member you WILL get lots of messages and chat requests. Its when you pay for a membership that everything dries up! Its all BS. As an experienced programmer in dating site scripts, I know they DO use bots to automatically scan for compatable suiters and initiate a message/chat. This only happens on non-paying members. There is a very easy way to check for bots. Register as a free member, fill out your profile as normal BUT in your description clearly put "I ONLY REPLY TO MESSAGES & CHAT REQUESTS THAT START WITH THE KEYWORD ABC123" see how many messages you receive will do this... none!
Signed up for a 3 day trial and after getting a AUTO RESPONSE from a friend who had been inactive for 18months I googled the cause. I then found you have to cancel the auto billing and to my horror found that I had also been billed £16-99 for a months VIP services. To cancel auto billing, you need to call a 0844 number at £1-50 per minute. Total RIP OFF the only reason I signed for the trial is because the friend responded (AUTO)
As a newbie at online dating, I found it easy to navigate this website. The tabs were clear and simple. Ready and organized. All I needed to do was click, click, click!
The very worst web-site I have ever been on. I wouldn't suggest tothis site to anyone - trying to meet someone! Most are of low intelligence and very negative.
This site needs to be removed! Total scam. My friend died and they were sending sexual messages from her account longggg after she died. They need to be investigated and arrested!
Be Ware cupidIsAscam. Do NOT GIVE YOUR PAYMENT INFORMATION. If you give your payment information they Will Rip you off. Cupid employees will send you flirts and filthy messages pretending to be others. Steer Clear
I payed for a three month gold description. It turns out you can send emails and chat requests, but ONLY OTHER GOLD MEMBERS can read it. Non gold members can see that they've been sent an email but they can't read it or respond. This promps them to pay the money for gold membership, as id did me. Except that the message I got was some generic bull$#*! from someone who was spamming it to everyone. The point is, ONLY GOLD MEMBERS CAN COMMUNICATE, and THEY CAN ONLY COMMUNICATE WITH OTHER GOLD MEMBERS. Thus, YOU CAN ONLY TALK TO, AND POTENTIALLY DATE THOSE WITH GOLD MEMBERSHIPS, THUS EXCLUDING 90% OF THE PEOPLE ON THE DATING SITE. YOU CAN ONLY DATE A TINY FRACTION OF THE PEOPLE YOUR SUPPOSE TO BE ABLE TO!
Complete rip-off! Match.com is the only site, I believe, where free members can still communicate with gold members, as long as the gold members contact them first. However, even this might be a mis-communication, so don't take my word for it!
Take money from credit card without any agreement and info. I only tried 3 days subscribtion, then they keep taking 30 usd each month. Be carefully when you pay!
Bye forever.
I signed up on those Cupid plc websites in the past. It's a scam and let me explain their modus operandi. Most of the decent profiles are fake. They have profile images picked up from the Internet (and you can confirm this by reverse looking up the image on Google). It is definitely a fraud scheme. You will receive a lot of emails from many genuine-looking people till you sign up (all the content in the email will be hidden, the profile image of that person will be so tiny that you wont discern anything). Every day you will get an email you are popular and you should pay them money to contact people, all fake and obviously bots!
Once you sign up, these emails from seemingly real people stop coming. You can also notice that the profile images are photoshopped or fake (because they now let you see the bigger image). Most of the traffic that lands up in your inbox now is spam, sent by the website itself. They also automatically sign you up on their many sister websites (cupid.com, girlsdateforfree.com, datingforparents.com, speeddater.co.uk, uniformdating.com, loveagain.com, maturedatinguk.com etc…) and you start getting the same type of spam from them, all begging for you to sign up. Horrible extortion scheme. I am sure there are better ways of making money than playing with people's emotions. The profiles of the people are not genuine at all; they are all fake people who have posted their profiles. Messages before you sign up are definitely fake and bot generated.
Total RIP Off! They will over charge and add bogus charges. All they do is send you scam messages from fake people 100's of miles away.
I did not expect that site will give me full access for free. Good move. The site seems legit and with strong anti-fraud system
This site was looked for me as a sphere where I can try to find a date. Fortunately, I did not miss and it really helped

Ever since I had some odd virus activity on my PC
I keep getting emails from them(among others)
I never signed up to them so I have marked it as spam.
Not as bad as everyone says it is. Have some trouble with messaging and anti-spammer protection - yes. The other parts of site are pretty valid
Hey!
That’s great to hear! We are constantly trying to respond to our members wishes and suggestions and your positive feedback is very much appreciated!

Figured it's time to share an update the cupid media niche sites. First and foremost, not much has changed by far. The women that uses the site are in full operation mode and doing all they can do to separate you from your money. Now, I've learned how to use the site to my advantage and have been successful on three (3) trips so far.
First and foremost, I don't recommend anyone sign up for any foreign cupid site until you are ready to travel to that niche country. Doing so will just lead you to disappointment, stress of these chics asking for money all day and hearing all kinds of sob stories. It will definitely distract from real life because these chics work overtime. They will shower you with attention, pictures and then the money kill.
I recommend sign up a month before you travel. Better to do it 2 weeks ahead but that's ok. Now, I dare say that 7-8 out of 10 women on all those site are "working" in some capacity. Some full time pros, others have jobs but need money for Iphones (their favorite) etc... You will be paying for that iphone. Ok, back... I've been to DR, Colombia and the Philippines with each trip lasting about 2.5 weeks. I used cupid to line up the girls and slept with the majority of them simply by telling them I will give them money in person. Since the trip is usually less than two weeks away, they are happy to wait.
Sorry to generalize but a lot of these women are broke, you are nothing but an ATM. They will do anything and everything to separate you from your money. Sleeping with you is a job (like I said working girls). There's no limit to what length they will go to and things they won't say to separate you from your money.
Last tip, honestly you dont even need to sign to cupid sites because when you get to your foreign country there are so many other options you wont even have time to contact those you met on those cupid sites. Happened to me and my friends.
In case it wasnt clear to you from all you've read, stay away from the site. Dont be tempted by all the pictures. There is absolutely nothing from scammers trying to get you to send $. Anyway, I did pay for a subscription service and heard all the scams. Everything from death in the family, my kid needs an operation, i need an operation, omg i just got robbed etc... heard it all. Stay away and save your $$$
Answer: Only through your bank! Cupid managers are scoundrels! Have they also put you on an automantic renewal? They do it all the time, and they add bogus charges. I know we are supposed to read the fine print, but it's really hidden on Cupid. They use all methods and tricks to screw you out of your money! It was such a headache to cancel my membership! There are bunch of normal sites like http://j4Iove.com Which work in an honest manner, you pay as you go. But Cupid's team are fraudsters! You have to think twice ( no, 5 times!) before giving them your credit card details.
Answer: Just become an uber driver bro. Thank for the info I just checked out the same site its a total scam full of call center girls and fake profiles.
