“I don't know why people are saying it's bad...”

Lydia S.
1/19/21

Most of the people saying it's 1-star are just people who hate math and reading, which is understandable... but would you rather do IXLMath where it does NO explaining, NO help, just "you got this wrong and I'm not gonna tell you why."? I thought not. You can get coins from lessons to play games, and it gives you a break in the middle of tests. They explain your incorrect answers, and it adapts to your level of reading/math. It's not really as bad as people are saying it is!

“An amazing torture machine from the middle ages!”

Bored of torturing your student through the good old fashioned way? No worries because I ready is the most modern and innovative way to kill your student's last brain cells! An amazing gift for teacher's day!

They call it I-ready, but it does the exact opposite. It is poorly animated, stupid and treats 7th graders like 2-year-olds! I would rather have a lit stick of dynamite shoved down my throat. At least the result is less painful. And as a plus, this complete idiot, "Vivi P" rated it 5 stars! What?! If I could rate zero stars, I would. I-ready is the danger zone!

I try to do it while they are talking and i have to wait like 30 seconds to answer the questions and boy do i hate waiting. Worst ever website in the world wide web. All of the reviews are 1 stars! And completly agree as a 3rd grader I-ready is boring and terrible because you have to wait to answer the questions! Very bad and i agree with all the 1 star reviews. Also enjoy this pic of mike wasoski.

You might be saying Iready is so good and helps us learn but that is completely false. The reason why you should ban i ready because it doesn't help you learn. It provides so much stress! When you are doing close reading and you answer the question correctly, it will say its wrong and completely change the question. For math it doesn't explain it enough to you when you get it wrong. Ether ban it or fix it.

This site is horrible! Why do teachers make us do it!? I am in 4th grade and they act like we are in preschool!
It wont let be answer the question until the stupid robot stops talking with it weird voice! Don't waste your time on this dumb app, maybe try playing Roblox but don't do this! I can't even believe that this site is still a thing! My teacher, makes us do this for 2 hours a week! Its horrible! I hope she sees this so she won't tell us to do it anymore! I-ready it lame! Iready is stupid. And to top it off, i ready is BOARING. I think I-ready should be ready to SHUT DOWN!

I hate I ready and if you look on YouTube there are lots of kids that hate I ready like me! I have to overdo this crap. I have to do 3 lessons per week for both subjects and if I don't I get a zero and my grades go down and my teacher calls my parents and I get yelled at and my phone gets taken away all because of this website. Also the lessons are slow. They make it slow on purpose by telling these useless terrible jokes and stories. So they make it slow on purpose. I've been doing it for all the grades I've been to exept 4th grade bc of covid and I'm sick and tired of it so ban this now!

I hate Iready not because I hate math, but because you need to hear a whole backstory as to why your doing the math, like if im going to learn math, give me the instructions, the equation and ill do it, it would save so much time, in stead of taking a half hour to do equations, it would take ten minutes.

This is so bad. When you fail 3 stupid questions, you FAIL. WHen you get a question wrong it talks for a zillion days and when you fail again, it talks again. PLus the animation is bad, it talks a lot...
If I would give it -******* stars I would rate it.
EDIT: The math games are good, (I-ready) so I updated the rating.

Iready is the stupidest thing ever. Just pretend that you are on it but be on something else. If your teacher has GoGuardian, get on something else if you have a substitute or your teacher is away from his/her computer screen.

Iready is annoying. The voices of the characters drive me nuts and the intro video of the diagnostic is too long and cringey. It makes me hate school. I hope all schools stop using it because it makes me feel dumb and depressed. I don't hate math and I'm good at reading, but I never do good on the test.

Iready it lowers my self-esteem because its required and because it doesn't help with students because if its wrong it just tells you and doesn't help to boost it so when they mess up and we cant fix it it lowers the grade so we think were doing bad and get mad at are selfs.

IReady, why, I know why, but how. How is it still up, and still a requirement IN MY STATE? I am forced to do dumb stupid useless iReady that does no benefits at all, it's kinda like "Do it my way or no way" and it just doesn't work, for you psychos that like iReady it's impossible to see why. I don't understand... Also, the lessons go soooo slow, like a youtube video trying to reach 10 minutes, it always takes long pauses and makes you wait to answer, it's not fair to students.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use it, if they make you use it, I feel terrible for you.

I Ready is bad because their sentences don't make any stink'in sense at all. And it is like I Ready wants you to get an F. Anytime u you put in an answer it says it is wrong, then when u trying again a hundred times the one that u picked the first that they said was wrong, was actually correct and now u get an F on I Ready and u have to redo it. Why did they have to change I Ready? Why didn't they stay with Plory and Yoop?

(Go to end to see how this would make kids probaly feel)
Whoever says this app is great they're lying to you. I am a student who has to do it, and I will say I would give this no stars. I get on clever, log in, finish my lesson, and I go to my quiz/. Then I probably get it all right and get a 100%. Okay and? BUT... what if I get one wrong I cant go back actually I can but to see that I got it wrong. WE DID IT WE DID IT WE DID IT YAY! It don't teach you nothing, and if you get just one wrong then you get an freaking 80 something percent! I pretty sure you can at least give me a 98%? What is this teaching us? Don't make mistakes or you will regret it?!?! I hope this isn't in the future because I wouldn't recommend this for my or any kids. By the way it will just make kids mad. Because Im a hot head my self and I wanna rip out my hair!

It knows my whole name (including my middle name) and when I do it at school says back at Westwood Elementry, and at home it says my WHOLE address. It thinks I'm a toddler and asked me what is an author! It has the WORST animation. It makes me read a text for a five year-old even though my diagnostic score is 627 and I'm 4th grade.

These tests do not test students based on their grade level. I would not recommend any district use this test because you are not getting a clear picture of what they know.

But above all else, the iReady Universal Screener is a dangerous assessment because it is a dehumanizing assessment. IReady, and assessments of this nature, overwhelming identify poor students and students of color as most in need of intervention.

Ok guys, NEVER MAKE YOUR KIDS DO THIS! I have a do it right now and it's probably that worst learning website I have ever been on. I am in 5th grade and it's so weird how they know your full name, even your middle name! I-ready makes kids want to kill themselves and and makes everyone throw there computer in rage. If you get one little question wrong it takes them a minute explain what 10+10 is. I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER RECOMMEND I-READY!

I ready sucks because the characters are cringe and they want to make me go deaf. I also hate how the lessons take you like 30 minutes and when you get 3 or more questions wrong you have to do the whole thing again. Ready also gives kids suicidal thoughts and makes them overwhelmed and stressed for no reason. I ready should be FU#$*ING BANNED. IT SUCKS COMPLAIN TO THE TEACHER PRINCIPAL OR SUPERINTENDENT.
