Needed my helmet for the weekend so I ordered accordingly but unfortunately the package was delayed I think because it had so many stops along the way it came 4 days late which isn't to bad but should of just did next day to play it safe
The team is very helpful and informative but I misunderstood the web site and ordered the wrong obd plug for my 2023 zx6r and had to send it back. I've not received the right plug yet nor a refund but other than that cycle gear will always be my go to shop
Apparently I was the lucky customer this time that had to wait over a week to receive my product. However, the CycleGear staff tried to remedy the situation to the best of their abilities.
The person was able to compensate a little for the inconvenience.
I have a store near me and I also have a membership.
I have wanted the product for a decent time and it was also recommended to me by a friend.

Helmet wasn't priced bad. It's a good helmet for a beginner not having to worry about wasting $500 if you happen to scratch it up.

I had orderd a helmet that seemed to have defects and contacted customer service and they sent me a new helmet immeadeitly as soon as i sent off the defected helmet.

Love the new helmet. The fit and finish is second to none. If you want the best adventure helmet on the market then this is the unit for you.
The product stated online at the time of purchase that it was in stock at the warehouse and would ship within 24hrs of the order being placed. Unfortunately it didn’t ship for more than 4 days, but did arrive on the 6th day. When I contacted customer service it took them 2 days to respond and by that time the product had already shipped. They just said sorry. Overall I love the product, but was just disappointed on the unexpected shipping delay.
I chose to purchase from cyclegear so that it would be easy to return locally at a retail store if needed, especially if the sizing was off.
Arai makes some of the best helmets on the market. The old model xd4 was on the market and unchanged for about a decade due to it great design and being so ahead of its time when it was released. I purchased the new xd5 for that specific reason. It will be years before the competition catches up.
