I really liked the option of picking up my order in the Cycle Gear store. Pickup in store was free of charge and allowed me to review the product in front of the staff to inspect it for any defects before taking delivery of it. Ordering through Cycle Gear was easy and I plan on purchasing more through them. The Dainese jacket I ordered was shipped well without and visible creases from folding.

I wasn't expecting the delivery to be at a drop off location to begin with causing me to have to drive across town to get it in the time frame I paid extra for. On top of that it was Walgreens in the hood part of town so I can count myself lucky to have made it with my catalytic converter still attached to my truck. So my overall experience was that of annoyance.
To tell the truth, I don't know why, I could have gotten this expensive helmet anywhere, maybe next time I will not choose cycle gear. It's not like Cycle gear has anything I want in stock, except for this helmet apparently, no KTM parts that I'm aware of. There isn't a retail store anywhere near me and I could probably get anything Cycle gear has on Amazon faster shipping.
I choose this Klim Krios Pro because my Klim Krios got damaged in baggage on Delta from my trip home from Portugal and Spain riding adventure. Maybe someone should come up with a gear bag that can protect expensive motorcycle helmets. With any luck, they will honor my claim and pay me for my 600$ helmet so I can pay for my 800$ helmet I just bought.

Staff at the Santa Rosa store are good. When they didn't have my tire in stock and it was out of stock in all stores they put me on a notification list for when my tire restocked. Got the notice, ordered it online, then they put on the wheel in a day and I was riding Sheena (Motorcycle) the very next day.

All the times I've ordered with CG, whether in store or online, I never had a tragic experience where I need to plaster all over their review boards that "they are the worst company that has ever existed" like how some of product reviews I've seen recently. Every time has been a smooth and easy transaction for me and no issues with my orders.
Best place to get motorcycle gear that is not a dealership or wait months online for something that is available now. Plus, being able to look at the gear and try it out before you buy it makes it easier to make a decision for my purchases now or in the future.
Needed them in a hurry and had to make sure everything works before the big group rides that I go on in the Bay Area.

With more than a decade shopping at Cycle Gear, I never had an issue where I needed to address something to a manager or corporate. Everything that I needed to get I was able to find online or in store and I'm just glad that they're one of the few stores that actually sell motorcycle gear in person. Thankfully all the places I've lived there has been a Cycle Gear nearby and can get the parts or gear that I need.
It's a great place for me to get things in a hurry or if it's online, I can actually have it shipped to store instead of worrying about someone stealing it from my place or losing the package.
Only place near me that sells a full range of gear for road and off road. Also, the staff I've met have always been good to me and I never had an issue with them or what they recommended.

Overall I can't complain. Going here for more than a decade or so, I can't say there is another store that compares with Cycle Gear. So far being able to get everything I need online or in person, what more can you ask for. Even if it's something they don't sell (online/in-person), they always find ways to help me get the things I need and that I appreciate the most.
Out of all the years I've been to Cycle Gear, there has not been another store that I can compare or say is better than Cycle Gear as far as parts available, clothing/gear, etc. Never have a bad experience when shopping at any of the stores and it's always easy to get information from someone if I feel like I'm missing something to better my motorcycle.
Always like the type of gear and products that they sell. Even if they don't have it in store, I can always have it ordered online and shipped to a store or my home and it doesn't take months like other stores that sell similar or identical products.

Overall my experience with cycle gear is good. But last week they accidentally installed a tire on my zx14 front wheel and put it on backwards. A couple weeks ago they ordered me front brakes for my zx14 and it's the wrong brakes. So I will have to spend time taking them back. But $#*! happens
