I ordered a helmet and gloves online. I know I'm taking a chance that I may not care for the product or the fit may not be just right but, that's the chance we take buying online. The gloves are awesome and fit perfect. The helmet was too tight and I preferred a little different style and options. As we know helmets fit differently per manufactures. I went to the local store and had no problem with ordering the helmet of my choice and they sent it to my home within two days. I was hoping to find a similar helmet / same manufacture at the store for the fitment but that was my only disappointment. The helmet arrived without any issues and fits well. Thank you Cycle Gear.
Price and plenty of product choices
I already have a full face helmet ( Neo Tec 3) but wanted a half helmet also. The gloves and helmet that I currently have are really nice but just too hot for summer weather. I need to feel the wind in my face and my hands not sweating as much as they are in the hot weather.

I performed the measuring of my head Exactly as described, but when I got the helmet, found it to be too small. Schuberth helmets fit more snug than any other helmet brand. After reordering the next size up, I find it to be rather snug too, but hope it will 'wear in' in due time. The snug fit it what gives them the low wind noise everyone talks about. I have yet to find out, as I am waiting on new headsets for both helmets. Looking forward to a quieter ride then my previous helmet.

I ordered a size large, I have an athletic build and I'm 5' 10" 200 lbs. based on chart and others recommendations. Large was too tight and wouldn't allow for adequate movement, so I exchanged it for an XL. Thankfully the local cycle gear just received this jacket in red and XL size. Done deal! Love the extra phone pocket inside as well as the other wider pocket on the opposite side to store whatever. Jacket is stylish and armor seems ready to guard me. Added more back padding for protection as the thin one it comes with is pointless. Thanks again!

My buying experience on cycle gear was pretty good and easy to navigate the site however. The license plate holder I eventually purchased for my Harley was very cheaply made and I'm sure I'll have to purchase another one within a few months. They should have a quality assurance department at cycle gear to analyze the durability of the products that they sell on the site for longevity. I do not hold it against cycle gear for distributing subpar merchandise for certain manufacturers. However, I think that because cycle gear is such a big brand dat that they should be a little more selective of the products they distribute.
