Needed a Shoei face shield as soon as possible for the Neotech II. CycleGear in Beaverton was out of stock for that model. They immediately ordered the shield, and we received it within 3 days. 2 Days sooner than the expected time.
Convenience
We feel Shoei is the top of the line for helmets.

Had to order because the store was out of stock. Delivery was nearly a week late and one of the oil bottles had leaked, soaking through the shipping box. What a mess.
Wanted a product other than what the HD dealer sold.
Highly rated and made for use on HD motorcycles.

I was in town and took the opportunity to shop winter gear. Great collection to try out. It awesome to finally assess the quality of the gear and size fit. The employees were friendly and helpful in selecting the right equipment. Highly recommended!
I bought a pair of gloves. Accidentally received two right-hand gloves. I called the Austin store where I bought them, they credited my online account so I can buy a new pair. It is a perfect solution as I live 2 hr drive from Austin.

Very large selection of merchandise to look at. The parts on the shelf didn't have all the brake pads I needed. But I talked to the fellow a the front desk and he ordered up the parts and they were waiting on the door step when we got home.
My son took me there to look a merchandise
I needed brake pads for my goldwing

I needed a new helmet and riding boots. The color of the helmet that I wanted was not in stock. The boots that I wanted are not normally stocked. Tim the sales associate who helped me said that he could order these items for me and have them delivered to my home. If I didn't like the items, or if there were any issues concerning fitment, I could return them. Moreover, shipping was free. I agreed and received my items in about three days. It was well packed and no issues. I was pleased with the speedy delivery service and the courteous and knowledgeable help provided by Tim. Friendly and knowledgeable sales people are a plus. So many retailers fail in this area. I will continue to shop at Cycle Gear.
You mostly have a variety of apparel to look at and try on. I prefer a real store over on line shopping.
Icon and Bell are trusted name brands.

A stick penetrated the rear tire on my KLR. Needing a new tire and tube, I hoped to find one in stock at my local CG. No luck, so I ordered both online. Tire arrived quickly, but the tube (and a few other items) were delivered to the wrong address. To their credit, CG caught the error before I did, and they informed me, and they re-issued the order (except for the tire) and shipped it to me again. A few days were lost in the process. It would have been more convenient if they had all arrived together so that I could start working on it, but no such luck. CG customer service did a great job remediating the issue, though it would have been better had the first delivery had been made correctly.
Convenience
Same tire that was damaged. The other items were maintenance products.

It would have been better if two things had been different. First, if you had offered EBC HH pads for both front and rear brakes. Second, if they had been in stock in the Pacheco store.
I brought some tires into Pacheco today to have new tires mounted. When I pulled the wheels off and saw the pads, I decided to change them now. Unfortunately, they're not available at Pacheco. I considered getting them from Amazon for faster delivery, but I didn't trust their fitment information, so I came back to CG.

When I got this request for feedback, it didn't specify which order. That tells you a lot right there. I do a lot of business with Cycle Gear, so I don't know if this was for the helmet I bought, or tires and tubes, or... Good selection. Good prices. Good service.
I realized as soon as I got the confirmation on the helmet order that I had ordered the wrong color in error. I immediately messaged customer service to ask to change the order (this was in the evening, PDT). I received no response until later the next day when the order had already been packed and shipped. While I was able to exchange the helmet pretty seamlessly at my local CG, it would have been better had customer service seen and responded to my message in a more timely fashion.
Been doing business there online and in person for many years. CG usually meets my needs.
To reiterate, I'm not sure what order you're referencing. If it's the helmet, I've already got one, but it's pretty far through its lifecycle, so it was time to replace it. If it's the tires, I'm trying them for a second time. I was disappointed with how quickly I went through the rear tire, and I'm trying them a second time to see if by changing pressure I can extend their life.

Went in person to the Harrison St shop in San Francisco. Joel was amazing. He spent a lot of time making sure I got the right equipment. They didn't have what I needed in stock so he ordered it for me and it came lickity split. I opted for in-store pick up just so I could say hi.
Great service. Knowledgable staff.
Frankly, it was the only one that fit.

I ordered boots from CycleGear and the experience was great. Shipping was fast and the product was as advertised. The boots were the correct size and high quality.

I went to the store to try on the helmet before I purchased it.
The guy who helped me assured me that large was my size, so I got a large ordered since the color I wanted was not in stock.
Once it arrived I tried on the helmet and took it on one ride to find out that it either wasn't for the shape of my head and was too big. Very uncomfortable and I'm not happy with my purchase.
I tried to return it but it says that if it is used I cannot. So now I'm stuck with a helmet that I cannot use
I always go here for my riding gear

Found a great leather jacket on the Cycle Gear site. It's very well made and provides excellent protection. It is also a good looking jacket as well as comfortable. Thanks Cycle Gear.
Had good experience in the past and expect that to continue into the future.
Good look and a good price.

Ordered a back pad. It was quick to be delivered and I got the email and a text as well as the fedex tracking number. Drove to cycle gear walked to the front and it was ready.
That's where I got the jacket.
I needed a backpack because it didn't come with the jacket.

I originally had a helmet held for pickup and ordered a comms unit to be delivered to the store so they could install it. I ended up getting to the store (90 minute ride from home) before the comms unit, so they told me to just cancel it online (where I ordered it) and call the store when it was delivered so they could send it back. Well, it took multiple calls and over a week to get it done.
Love Cycle Gear and I appreciate that they are trying to be easier to work with like Home Depot and the likes, but they really need to figure these kinds of problems out before they release it into the wild.
Customer Service was easy to work with through the chat feature. The nice lady was able to move orders from an old account to a new account, so that was very nice. She was unable to be of any help with the problem described above, but that's not her fault.
Best option in my area

I went to my local Cycle Gear and place an online order at the store:
First I was able to pay in cash
Second they received the order for me
Third they call me immediately and I went there to pick up
Fourth I tried the product, it was a helmet and fit me nicely, in case it didn't they will do the return for me
Its a local store, with real riders working there

Thomas, at the Knoxville CycleGear, was great. He helped me find the right size helmet, installed my coms in the new helmet, and was just a stand-up guy from start to finish.
My only quibble is with having to order the helmet from Missouri, instead of it being closer, and that it took a couple of days to arrive. I'd've preferred to just walk out of the store with it that day.
Because you're right down the street from the title company where I'd just sold my late mother's house.
I liked the color, it fit, and I need a helmet.

Purchased riding pants online according to to size chart. Item did not fit as expected. Cycle Gear recommended sizing up, but I was on the lower end of the size window. I knew if it didn't fit, I could exchange in store hassle free. Made a return in store with no issues or delays. Staff were friendly and happy to get me the size I needed off the rack.
Customer service is always top notch. Staff are friendly, helpful abd knowledgeable.
Quality brand and good value for the money.

Couldn't find what I was looking for and I was just getting ready to leave and the guy stopped me and asked me what I was looking for and I told him and he said he could order those and have them for me delivered to my house in a couple of days fantastic great customer service price was terrific too I actually got them for a little bit cheaper than I would have got them at the Harley Davidson shop so I'm glad I chose to stop in and see what they had
I told cycle gear because of the Harley-Davidson shop was closed down where I went to first
I started to get discouraged cuz I couldn't see anything for a Harley-Davidson on their shelves thanks for the employee asked me what I was looking for and said that was no problem and you had them delivered to my house it was great

Purchase this for my ninja 500 and works perfectly. The shipping was a bit weird since I have the cycle gear membership it was suppose to come in 2 days. I would expect 3- 4 days since I ordered this product on a Friday but it came in 5 to 6 days later.
I choose cycle gear because I do like their membership program of cash back and certain items they do provide. Note I have not shop at any other sites yet.
I chose this product because I needed a spool for my ninja 500 bike.

Kristi from California - Rancho Cordova store did a great job in informing me about motorcycle gear. That is the reason why I continue to shop with Cycle Gear Today

Staff members were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and patient. I just passed my BSC with the MSF, and I needed to pick up some gear. Though I had done research before I got to the store in order to narrow things down, I still like to get in-person opinions from those with more experience. I was picking up a helmet this time, and the person I worked with helped me to determine my size amongst different helmet brands, the type of experience I might have given the kind of riding I was looking to do, and presented options that could be sent to my home or to the store that weren't on the store's shelf when I walked in. I also wear glasses and am somewhat claustrophobic, so we factored those in as well. I really felt like everyone I met with has your best interest and safety at heart with where you're at in your riding journey. They even offered to help set up the helmet attachments when it arrived in the store before I took it home. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend CycleGear in Roswell to anyone looking to get safe riding gear and advice. I will definitely be visiting this store again.
It was recommended to me by my MSF instructors.
I originally narrowed my chosen helmets between Shoei and Bell, but was informed that Bell might be a little overkill since I was only planning on cruising, maybe touring at best. I was then pitched the Arai helmet, but their medium size was a little more loose than the Shoei helmets, and I liked the pinlock feature in the Shoeis because I actually had to open up the face shield while I was in the MSF BSC because my glasses would start to fog up, so I wanted to reduce the possibility of that as much as possible. Not that it trumps safety, but Shoei has a lot more color variations too.

I ordered this Jacket on Website 11/2924 Black Friday sale. It said it would take 5-6 Business days to process the order. So it took 6 business to ship. I understand this is happening during the most busiest time of the year. It was shipped from Cycle Gear warehouse in Jeffersonville IN. Which is three hours and fifty two minutes from my home. I did not receive it till today 12/20/24 a total of 10 business day even though FEDX and USPS work weekends for shipping. At the time I placed the order I was not home for several days so I decided to ship to my PO Box instead of my home address so it would not set outside exposed to any who walked buy. This was a big mistake. I would have received it in about 3 days instead of 10 plus days. I was worried about the size I had ordered hoping the size chart was correct, which it turned to be correct. I went to my local Cycle Gear store in Columbus OH on 12/7/24 to see if they had this jacket but they do stock this one. I looked at several GC locations and no one stocks this jacket. The jacket fits perfectly. I wish that CG would explain the shipping process better. After it left FedX to USPS I had no tracking number. So called CG customer support and Bryce had helped with a tracking number for USPS. She was very helpful and much appreciated. This way I would know when it would arrive at my PO Box.
I have ordered from them before

Could not get my arm through sleeve. The lining was stitched/twisted inside the sleeve. I assume the jacket would be too smaill but could not try it on.
Returned at CycleGear store.
