I wanted an Oxford Montreal 4.0 jacket but was uncertain about the sizing. I went to a local Cycle Gear store and tried on similar (European sized) jackets and based my online order on that. Worked just fine. Very satisfied with the jacket, the service and the delivery.
The quality of these pants looks great! Based on the reviews of the woman's H2O, i sized up from a 32 to 34. I could not get them past my thighs. I am 5 6 1/2 150 pounds. I wear a solid size 10. My dirtbike gear and adventure gear all is 32. You are limited on how much you can open up the waist to get over your thighs and glutes because there is a gusset from one side to the other. I have an athletic build so im not proportionally large on the thighs. They are a very heavy pant, so I can't see how they would be cool enough in the summer. We could not find a vent in the back of the thigh for the air to flow thru. Again the quality is good.
Hi Guys,
I got my tire quickly and it was what I ordered. Tanks. I have one of those loonnngg country driveways. You know, with the grass growing up between the gravel tire paths? Then it hooks into the woods and my house is back there somewhere.
My tire was sitting out at the road, next to the mailbox. In plain site of any who passed and out of site from the house.
I drive for a living and understand why someone might not want to venture down my driveway, but dropping the tire 50 feet up the drive behind a tree so it wasn't visible from the road would have been nice.
I got it fine, there was no issue, but you asked for possible improvements.
I chose you'se guys because this tire can be a bugger to mount. I usually mount and balance my tires, but this new bike has a big fat rear tire (240, 45, 17). It is a blast to ride, but hard to mount. I ended up bringing it down to the local (40 miles away, one way) and had them mount this one. Your half price to mount if purchased from cyclegear makes you the preferred online vendor.
Tires. Ain't no fun without tires. It is a Ducati Diavel 1260s, so my options are slim.
You can use 'Lop' for your comments, but don't use my last name please.

For apparel and accessories, CycleGear provides a wide selection of products with prices that are hard to beat. We have purchased 2 pairs of riding boots in the pass year - one in-store purchase and one online purchase and we have been completely satisfied with the selection and the customer service.

Fast and easy. I went into store in White Plains, NY and they answered many questions I had. Online it was easy to find the product that would fit my motorcycle. Due to my membership I received my product in two days! Only wished it had option to pay with Affirm.
Membership purchased at retail store.

You should train your store employees to a greater extent. They need to be aware of the options available in the store, on-line and what is available in the market in general. I am more likely to purchase from a store that is truly knowlegeable in the total market. Cycle Gear has a lot but not everything. Be the source... If we don't have it i'll send you to someone who does have it and if customer demand is enough ask yourselves " why arent we providing a link to this". You want to be the First place customers go to whether they buy from you or not. Over time you should find those markets you you could best serve- add those and --accept that there are some areas you cannot address directly.
Great customer service. Train more see comments.
Good experience overall. Close to my home.

The order arrived quickly and met my expectations. Cycle Gear has consistently delivered a great shopping experience over the many years I've done business with them.

I was able to order over the phone and the boots were here the next day.

The wheel weights didn't stay on the wheels when I got home and unloaded the wheels. Wheels probably should have been cleaned (at least where the weights were attached) so they would stay stuck on the wheels.
They rebalanced and mounted the weights again. I cleaned the wheels before bringing them back in to get rebalanced
Only place I could find both front and rear tires to fit my bike.
Great choice for the type of riding I typically do.

I appreciate the fact that Cycle Gear has a store in my area where I can try on stuff before I buy, and if they don't have what I want in stock I can order online. It helps that prices are in line with other stores as well.

I needed to find a quad lock case for my Samsung 22 ultra. I was able to get it online, deliver it to the store and get everything else all in less than a week. Love the store and the guys who work there. They are knowledgeable and helped with accessories from quad lock that would work with my bike.
Great cust service and knowledgeable teams who are always willing to help.
Friends have quad lock and swear by there product.

Great products, great selection, great prices, great shipping and pick up options. What's not to love? CycleGear's website and/or stores are my first stop for anything I need or want for me and my bike.
Because they're awesome.
The fit (tried on at the store), and my history with the company and products, like Dainese, Sedici, and Sena/

Great company for everything motorcycles. Good website and deals.
Because them, along with RevZilla, are awesome and easy one-stop shopping.

This was about as generic of an online purchasing experience as any other.
Because it's my preferred online retailer.
I needed new glovetact pads and was looking for some gloves with greater airflow.

Ordered some MX boots through the local Cycle Gear store rather than on my own from home because I wanted to give them credit for their assistance. I feel that the process for ordering in the store could be improved. It took longer that it should and seemed like the sales associate had to jump through some hoops to make it happen. Otherwise, the items were delivered on time and as described.
Local store presence is a real plus.
Based on online research.

Everything from cycle gear was great. Fast shipping and great prices. Unfortunately UPS just dumped my tires at my OPEN gate next to the road rather than take them up to the house. I don't have dogs and my driveway is nicer than the county road.
Price and past experience in-store.
Need new tires that were more off-road capable.

These new Mission Raids look awesome! The Klim Dakar gloves look great! They appear to run a little big in size. I wear a XL normally and these are a little big on me so you might want to stop a size if ordering.
Great store!
Klim is high quality product. Never lets me down.

Went to the store looking for a helmet. They had a great selection but didn't have the design I wanted. Employee help find 3 helmets with my size to try on for fitment and direct to order the same model with my desire design on-line.
Spent over 700$ on a helmet and wanted to make sure I got the right one!
Tried on over 5 helmets and decided on a Shoei GT Air 2 for comfort and extra visor feature.

Nice and simple. When i went to get my helmet was surprised to find a new store. Huge. They moved to a new building in the same parking lot. Was great to just walk around and look at everything. Every other store in multiple states are so small.
Alway buy from them
It was bad $#*!

Ordered mirrors, expected them to be here within 2 weeks. Only took two days. Unfortunately I think I'm going to try to return the product because the mirrors don't look right on my bike.
Because I have been to their physical stores and I trust them. Plus they were one of the only distributers carrying Rizoma parts.
I needed new mirrors unfortunately myself and no one else liked they way they looked on my bike :(

I got the helmet and unpacked it. Is a little tight, but I think it will fit better once I wear it for a few times.
All new things need to be broken in.
My only complaint is the shield is scratched up.
It would have been nice to get a pristine shield.
I looked on several helmet sites but only could find the style and accessories I liked.
The helmet looked good and was the style I was looking for.

When I need to purchase expensive riding gear, that no-one keeps in stock, its easy to order at cycle gear, go pick it up at a store. If the equipment doesn't fit or is not as expected, just do the return right there. Free shipping to your friendly local cycle gear.
Its close by
I researched what I need to a detail level.

I wanted to make sure the items I was looking for were not in store, the sales help in store helped guide me to choose the perfect warming items for riding on chilly days. I was then lucky enough to find great items for me on sale. After reassurance that if the items did not suit I could return them to the store I ordered online. Everything works as I expected, and does the job intended. I can ride in 40 degree weather without freezing. Thanks CycleGear.
Fit and a bonus of being sale items

I believe the man who helped me was Alex, but I'm not sure. He chatted with me about his Ninja from the 80's that was parked outside and then helped me apply my pinlock to my helmet, which is what I ordered. He was very kind and helpful.
Close to the house, RPM account makes it cheap, was able to get notified of this item which goes out of stock frequently
I run hot and fog my visor a lot so I wanted a solution for that

Fast and easy way to get parts! I made a mistake with a sprocket order and the return was super simple, the Amazon of the motorcycle world
I ordered a 47T sprocket instead of a 45T , asked what to do for the return and it was simple, the rate of return shipping offered by cycle gear was lower than I paid directly, so will know next time to use that option !
Existing customer so I usually start looking here first
I chose a balance of quality and price for reviving an older bike
