I wanted an Oxford Montreal 4.0 jacket but was uncertain about the sizing. I went to a local Cycle Gear store and tried on similar (European sized) jackets and based my online order on that. Worked just fine. Very satisfied with the jacket, the service and the delivery.
The quality of these pants looks great! Based on the reviews of the woman's H2O, i sized up from a 32 to 34. I could not get them past my thighs. I am 5 6 1/2 150 pounds. I wear a solid size 10. My dirtbike gear and adventure gear all is 32. You are limited on how much you can open up the waist to get over your thighs and glutes because there is a gusset from one side to the other. I have an athletic build so im not proportionally large on the thighs. They are a very heavy pant, so I can't see how they would be cool enough in the summer. We could not find a vent in the back of the thigh for the air to flow thru. Again the quality is good.

Super convenient. Store about 12 miles away. I get everything sent there. Tires or whatever. Returns, when and if necessary, are a snap. Prices are reasonable. Helpful personnel in store and online. In store tire mounting...sweet! What's not to like. My go to motorcycle supply store.

I ordered a Schuberth C5 helmet from the store in Schaumberg. Jon was very helpful and pleasant. I received the helmet a few days later, but it wasn't in the shape I was expecting. After watching unboxing videos I knew the helmet I received wasn't in the original packaging. The box was in terrible shape, there was no internal packing, manual or warranty card. A screw fell out of the helmet bag and the liner was not attached in one location. I attempted to get satisfaction over the telephone from CycleGear, and the person who responded seemed very concerned, but I didn't hear back for two days. So I returned it to the Schaumberg store. I was leaving on a trip soon and wanted the helmet for the trip. Jon took care of it with apologies. I did receive the helmet, with all the packing and paperwork, two days before I was to leave, but decided not to try to get used to a new helmet on the road.
I contacted customer service and was greeted with much concern. After being asked to send photos of the product condition and providing those pics, I didn't hear back for several days. I had assumed I would be contacted immediately after sending the pics.
The first helmet was probably a return or a store model, but should never have been sent out as new by the warehouse.
It's a brick and mortar store where I could try on helmets.

The jacket and gloves are beautiful. Just as shown on the website. But... clearly someone wore that jacket and was stinky! I wish there was a way to add "odor" in the description along with the description. I know it's easy, just to wash it but then it doesn't have the authentic "NEW" look. I LOVE the jacket though.

Got these pads for a used 2XL Joe Rocket jacket I bought. They fit inside the jacket, only gripe I have is that they are a little small for the pockets, mainly the back protector. It slides to the bottom of the pocket and feels like poor positioning on my back. To correct that I put it in and then put in the original level 1 protector over it. That seems to be keeping the new armor in place.

The original shoulder and elbow is pads in my jacket were dry rotted and crumbled to pieces. Needed a new set to replace them. Went with the same company's pads as the jacket since I couldn't find out the dimensions of the original pads.

I wanted to buy a pair of TCX Drifter boots. Of course my local Cycle Gear does not carry them. Luckily, I already have two pairs of TCX boots and new I could buy them without trying them. Because I was going to pay cash, I was able to order them in person from my local store.
I prefer to buy for shoes and clothes in person because I rather try something on and make sure it fits well.
The staff is friendly and helpful. They help me get my order easily.
I know what I like. I want something with good quality, stylish, and with a good (CE) safety rating.

I went in looking for a helmet and they had a huge selection to choose from, so much that it was a bit overwhelming.

Oreded a new helmet for my daughter to give as a present...still waiting and will not be here in time...I've gotten 2 emails asking how they did with my order.I called n was told soon...called again and still did not ship from a bordering state...13 days and waiting...not impressed...will not use them again...products are often low quality.

I ordered a pair of shoes from them on May 23rd. Their website said my order would ship in 1-2 business days. Today is June 6th and customer service doesn't know when my order will ship or where it is. They're slow to respond to my emails, if they respond, and are blaming their supplier for their inability to ship and track an order. My class is in two weeks and I have no idea if I'll have my shoes by then. And neither do they.

The jacket does what it's supposed to do which is provide ventilation with padding. The back padding is not that great but the elbows and shoulders are fine. My main concern is that I ordered a small which fits great everywhere expect for my arms. It never makes it to my wrist so it's kinda short on the arm length but the body length is great.

The store rep was super helpful and friendly. Did not have the battery I needed on the shelf. Battery shipped minus full tube and acid so I had to pay additional to have it filled. Did not bring it back as I had already lost a week waiting for it to arrive.
