I was purchasing a gift card for my son-in-law on short notice. Since this was a gift and I wanted to make sure I got it on time I asked it to come to my email address. I hope he won't have any problems using it.
I stopped in the store in Allentown for 2 new helmets. The only option in the sizes we needed were white or that weird blue color... I can't believe black had to be ordered. But they shipped on time, and arrived in perfect condition... so no complaints
I am content with the product but it took a extra few day to receive. It did not come in the two day like I was told.

I ordered these from the Cycle Gear website and they arrived 11 days later. The website says it ships in 5-7 business days and I just thought this was misleading.
Anyway, when they did get here, I tried them on and they were very comfortable with bent knees due to the joint, standing up and walking however, not so much. They creep down as I walk. I imagine riding in them would be very comfortable... as long as you are on the bike. The second you step off, they will start creeping down and you will probably need to adjust them before you get back on again.
As for ease of putting them on it gets 5 stars. The velcro straps are easy to place and feel sturdy enough once they are on. One of the main reasons I bought these was because they had all 3 adjustable straps instead of the 2 adjustable and 1 permanent strap so I could put them on and off without taking off my shoes and on this front they did perfect.
The reason for the 4 stars is that when they came there was a tag on the inside that says off road use only and I didn't see anything about that from the website so I will probably be returning them to get some that I can use on the street.
If you are looking at them for off roading, I would recommend buying them, they feel well made, I love the knee joint, and they are so comfortable with any kind of bend in your knee. If you are planning on doing any walking with them on, I would probably just take them off and put them in the nice mesh carry bag they come with. If, however you are like me, and looking for street use, keep looking, these are not for you. The thin hard shell feels like it will hold up well on dirt or even rocks at lower speed, but will probably crack on impact with asphalt at higher speeds.

I was originally sold the wrong battery (didn't fit). When I took it back the salesperson was awesome and helpful getting my battery returned and the correct one ordered and shipped straight to me.
Open on Sunday and usually have what I need.

The Shoei modular helmet for our long distance riding is necessary. Not too close to face, place glasses easily on face (there is space), and ease of adding blue tooth communicator is great.

Order was NOT perfect, but eventually Cycle Gear made it right. I ordered an Oxford Zero-G Single Sided Swingarm Stand for my 2001 Ducati 996 Monoposto at the Cycle Gear store in Henderson, NV. The Cycle Gear website says I needed a 25.5mm pin. This is wrong! For the 2001 Ducati 996 (that comes stock Marchesini Aluminum Wheels), the pin we need is a special pin that is both 25.5mm and 21.5mm. The inner diameter of the pin is 21.5mm, and the outer diameter of the pin is 25.5mm. The 25.5mm pin will only fit in the wheel well about 35mm (~1.5 inches) before it bottoms out. I was able to get it all to work with the 21.5mm pin as the 21.5mm pin goes all the way in. I then rolled duct tape around the outer diameter (35mm width) part to make it 25mm for a custom fit. Granted this is NOT perfect but it works. As for the quality of the stand and pin itself, it is very nice for the home mechanic and price is right, this thing is NO Pitbull Stand, that is for sure. If you want the best get Pitbull, but if you want to save money and "good enough", get this Oxford Zero-G stand. See pictures of my review for this product for more details.
Overall, I am very please with Cycle Gear's customer service. When I first put in my order, Cycle Gear only sent me the stand and NO PIN (even though pin showed "in stock" for the next 5 days after my stand shipped), and it took a week for me to get the pin. However, Cycle Gear made this right by giving me a $10 store credit. $10 is not much of a savings for the hassle, but at least it showed me Cycle Gear is trying their best to make it right (after all, mistakes do happen).
Then once I received the pin, I got the wrong pin! The Cycle Gear website has the wrong "pin information" that I needed for the Oxford Zero-G swingarm stand. Eventually I got it all to work, and at least Cycle Gear has good return policies so that I can return the other pin that I won't be using. I have pictures of everything and will post the pictures on Cycle Gear's website when I review the product.
I use to Road Race Motorcycles in the late 90's and early 2000's in the MRA. I am just getting back into Motorcycling after a 20 year break and Cycle Gear store in San Jose was always good to me. I was happy to see there is a store local to me in Henderson Nevada.
