I went to a shop out of town because we are very limited in Moto store options where I live. I went in a couple of times to try on various gear and helmets. The employees were very helpful and super friendly. I didn't feel like they cared more about making sales than making sure I was a happy, educated and well protected rider. They helped me find how to get the helmet I wanted and also helped give me advice on multiple other items I had been looking into. Definitely keeping Cycle Gear as a top choice for shopping for moto items. I do wish they carried a little more options for female attire but I also understand there's a LOT less of us out there.
The only physical Moto shop within 200-300 miles of where I live and many of my fellow riders highly recommended them.

Ive never had an issue in the past with cycle gear until recently. Upon first arriving to order tires, I was greeted very nicely and was given a few options to help fulfill my needs which as usual was wonderful. When I got the call to bring my old tires in to switch out however, my experience changed that day. I carried my 2 bike tires to the front door, had to set them down and open each set of doors and when I got inside there were 4 cashiers just watching me struggle. Ok no big deal, it's a fluke. Went to the service counter and that cashier was different then who I ordered the tires with and he was cold and irritated that I didn't know the answer to questions right away as this was the first time I've done tires where I couldn't just bring my bike in to be swapped. Ok I assumed another fluke. But, upon pickup on the new tires I was met with more rudeness and frustration and it just isn't the Cycle gear I remembered. I'm sad cause I love this store but these few employees were pissing me off. I am not a "backpack biker", I own my own bike and its frustrating when you are treated so poorly by a few employees that make you not want to continue to do business somewhere that you have always loved.
In the past i have always loved the customer service and product selection and employee knowledge. Hopefully it was just a few bad eggs in the bunch

Love these Frogg Togg rain pants for motorcycling. I like the "reach through" pockets, the reflective piping. And how light weight they are. AND they are made for women (often a rarity in motorcycle clothing). However, the right leg of my first pair melted on my pipes. It seems the heat resistant material is not quite in the correct place. Ordered two replacement pairs because it seems this particular product is being discontinued. WHY?
I chose CycleGear because I have shopped with this store before and I purchased my first pair of these Frogg Togg rain pants in a brick and mortar CycleGear, so theoretically, they would have them available for online purchase.
I chose this product because Frogg Togg has a good reputation for quality products that actually DO repel rain.

It's nice to have options rather than going through the dealership. Road hazard protection is a plus for me due to the one time I bought a new $300 rear tire for my cbr1000rr and the dealer telling me that I need a new one 2 months after because of a screw!

With my rpm account mind you, the upgraded shipping seems like it only took a day and the 2-5 estimate on my Alpinestars shoes only took 2? Days from shipped notice.
One of the best motorcycle parts and gear suppliers, along with RevZilla who is their sister company, out there. I frequent the brick and mortar stores in my location but the site had the sale items that the store fronts didn't have.
