Was shocked how quickly my return was handled and store credit given. I was out $36.00 for shipping my helmet back.
Helmet was still under warranty when the drop visor mechanism broke. Sent it back and got total store credit the same day. New helmet arrived in two days.

I went looking for a good helmet for my bike and the fellow gage did a awesome job showing me the halms and advised me on the wonderful new sedici strada 3 helmet, I all so purchased the pinlock far it, when it came in gage put in far me free of charge. I'm telling every body to go to cycle gear for their stuff.

All I ordered was a front tire. Was supposed to be here on the 14th and FedEx struck again. They delayed and delayed the delivery until the 19th when it showed it was at the facility right down the road. Kept swapping from out for delivery to operational delay. Other than that Cycle Gear is great lol.
They have what I need at good price and the employees at my local store are awesome.

It's been a long time since I received two day shipping on an order placed at CycleGear's website. Usually it takes from 4 to 6 days to get an order, even though I'm a paying RPM member.
I wanted to use my remaining "cash" before my RPM membership was up, since I will not be renewing it.
I reviewed "best summer riding gloves" on the internet. These were rated high in all the reviews. CycleGear had them in stock in the size I wanted so I ordered them. I took the reviewers advice and ordered them one size larger than my normal size. I agree these are very nicely made and comfortable gloves, when you up-size one size.

I'm a RPM member. I'm supposed to get free two day shipping.
Cycle Gear doesn't adhere to this. This last shippment took six days to arrive via their chosen shipping vendor. Their vendor received my shippment, then took five days to deliver it from the depot that received it to my door. How is this two day shipping?
Of the three companies, (Revzilla, J&P, and Cycle Gear), only Cycle Gear has this on going problem with adhering to this RPM membership benefit.
I've learned to use Revzilla for my gear and metric bike parts and J&P for my Harley parts.
Cycle Gear has been a frustrating company for this RPM member to deal with. I'm done trying to deal with them.
Customer service just gave me a runaround on their delivery problems. The adviser had no answer as to why, after the shipping vendor had received my shippement, that it took four further days to receive my order.
Basically they tried to turn my problem around and blame me for my late shippment. I understand that a order may take two working days to process. That didn't happen here. The order was processed wrong. The shipping vendor shipped my order slowly because my orders shipping label was filled out as a "Home" standard delivery.
No other reason than I'm a RPM member and would receive my tire with in 3 days.
I'm a Dunlop believer. Their Mutant tires are perfect for my riding style on my R1250GSA.

Nick at the Plano location was very helpful when choosing a new helmet for my head shape. I explained the issues I was having with my current helmet and told him some preferences without regards to cost. He pointed me in the right direction and still showed me multiple options rather than upsell me. He really cared for how the helmet felt and made sure I was confident in my decision prior to purchasing/ordering.

The product and Cycle Gear's service were excellent, as usual. However, it is frustrating to follow your order through FedEx Ground. You can follow the package accurately from the shipping location. Finally, it shows on the truck out for delivery that day, then at the end of the day they tell you the shipment is delayed and it won't be delivered. Do the final delivery drivers just decide they don't want to work anymore that day?

Ordered New front and rear tires on a Sunday. By Wednesday they arrived. Thursday I borught my wheels with the old tires on them to the Cycle gear store in Lewisville, Texas where the new ones were delivered. I had barely even made it back to work when they called and said they had the new tires installed. Great experience.

Delay almost every time I've gone to the store. Current excuse: we have no new valve stems. So far wheel is there 5 days. Last time, rookie installer screwed up valve stem and balancing. Lots of time redoing remove tire and wheel. Will be looking for other alternatives
