I wanted an Oxford Montreal 4.0 jacket but was uncertain about the sizing. I went to a local Cycle Gear store and tried on similar (European sized) jackets and based my online order on that. Worked just fine. Very satisfied with the jacket, the service and the delivery.
The quality of these pants looks great! Based on the reviews of the woman's H2O, i sized up from a 32 to 34. I could not get them past my thighs. I am 5 6 1/2 150 pounds. I wear a solid size 10. My dirtbike gear and adventure gear all is 32. You are limited on how much you can open up the waist to get over your thighs and glutes because there is a gusset from one side to the other. I have an athletic build so im not proportionally large on the thighs. They are a very heavy pant, so I can't see how they would be cool enough in the summer. We could not find a vent in the back of the thigh for the air to flow thru. Again the quality is good.
Made the exchange of race suit for a different size quick and painless.

Normally I'd go to the dealer for new tires and have them install it, but I found out that I can get a great price on a new tire and have Cycle Gear install it for $30 (provided you bring in the wheel). Braeden was awesome to work with and got the tire mounted in quick order!

Order came in super quick and very well packaged. Seriously my exhaust was in two boxes inside of a box, inside of another box! Cycle gear is the best, and the rewards program paid for itself like two purchases ago for me.

- checked out helmets in store with the friendly and helpful staff making themselves available to help me
- there was a hard effort to upsell from a $200 helmet to a $700 Arai by another member who had not initially helped me (walked me through second go around and helped with sizing though and explained some of the advantages and benefits, which for information alone, was worth the social dance of dealing with sales, not negative, not positive, just information exchange which if you want to make a good decision, you have to be informed but sometimes it goes from opinion and information to pay monthly tactics which is helpful for some but not what I wanted to do)
- had a prior bad experience with Shoei so I stayed away from most of their helmets (GT2 air ended up being super loud after minor drop roll caused the foam liner to degrade over time causing the helmet to be deafening, the only thing I saw was a rolling scuff with no indent from my persinal experience, but if a $600 helmet can't survive that without being compromised, it makes me question the business strategy. Still, they showed me the 1400 by Shoei and promised it was quieter and mentioned the return policy if I didn't like it which was good to know in case I get curious enough to try again)

I'll have to return it to my local store as soon as I get a chance. Per CycleGear's policy, I have to return it with the original packaging, which is always a huge pain -- to carry a cardboard box on a motorcycle.

This cycle gear store is very small and has limited options for in store shopping, however using the ship to store option is very convenient. I completely understand the need for surveillance due to the ridiculous amount of shoplifting, but it is also really uncomfortable to shop here (worse than a car lot) that an associate follows you to "help you shop" the entire time you are in the store. I'm much more likely to spend momey when I'm browsing and looking at other items. Every time I'm here it is so awkward I tend to look for a specific item and get in and out immediately.
They're the only one who sells gear in my state.
I needed a new visor because road debris destroyed my first one. It unfortunately has terrible reviews but is the only option they still make.

Ordered a replacement windscreen lock for my helmet. The part came quickly, and when I went to install it to replace the broken piece I thought I broke it. However it was fine it's just the parts aren't as exact as they should be and required finesse to get it back to its place.

Word to the wise, DON'T SHOP CYCLE GEAR! There are plenty of other like businesses in our area and online. I needed to return an item and due to certain medical circumstances, it was outside of their normal return period. The employee I spoke to, told me, due to my circumstances she would make an exception and give me a refund; but a store credit was issued instead. Both my husband and I have spoke to several employees who will not help us out, regardless of the circumstances! The fact that I was specifically told I would receive a full refund and the fact that I was fighting for my life and could not get the item returned sooner! So now I am stuck with a substantial amount of store credit and have no need to purchase anything. Meanwhile, that money sits unused and my medical bills continue to pile up. Mind you, I was given the option to take the item to the store and get store credit OR send the item in and get a refund. We took the time to send it in and still did not get a refund!

I went to the store for a replacement helmet for my old one that I was retiring. Attendant was helpful, however the only helmet available for what I wanted was the display. I accepted and they went to the back to get the other parts(chin skirt, and pinlock). It wasn't until I got home an hour away that I found neither of these parts were the right size. Went back the next day. They brought me the "right" parts, still wrong. Went back the 3rd day with the helmet decided not to leave until it was fully assembled. That days attendant did they're best but couldn't produce the right parts, (I assume they're filing system/capability checking software needs work). We settled on returning the un used helmet and ordering a new one be sent to my house. Fresh helmet was perfect with all the parts, happy with the end result, should have just ordered it in the first place. Would have saved me 4 hours of driving. Because of the effort put in day 3 and my overall satifaction with the helmet, I give 3 stars.

I went in for a helmet I ordered. The one I ordered was too small, but staff was able to do a return as store credit and I chose a helmet from their rack that was my size that I was very pleased with. Also bought a jacket for my daughter and all worked out perfectly.

The web page would not allow me to fill in my credit card security code. I had to refresh the page 3 times. I filled in the rest of my info and when I clicked check out, it took me to the beginning asking me to sign in even thought i was doing a guest check out. I had to go through all that all over again. Happened last night when I bought a helmet.
