I wanted an Oxford Montreal 4.0 jacket but was uncertain about the sizing. I went to a local Cycle Gear store and tried on similar (European sized) jackets and based my online order on that. Worked just fine. Very satisfied with the jacket, the service and the delivery.
The quality of these pants looks great! Based on the reviews of the woman's H2O, i sized up from a 32 to 34. I could not get them past my thighs. I am 5 6 1/2 150 pounds. I wear a solid size 10. My dirtbike gear and adventure gear all is 32. You are limited on how much you can open up the waist to get over your thighs and glutes because there is a gusset from one side to the other. I have an athletic build so im not proportionally large on the thighs. They are a very heavy pant, so I can't see how they would be cool enough in the summer. We could not find a vent in the back of the thigh for the air to flow thru. Again the quality is good.
It was time for a new helmet. Decided to go to cycle gear in Redwood City. Met Eddie who was very patient and knowledgeable. Went through all the possibilities with different brands. Decided on the new to the market alpine stars R-10. Waited a week as i monitored its location in shipping all the way from Kentucky. Took like a week. Upon knowing it had arrived I went to pick it up.
Here's were it gets interesting. The box was brought to the counter from the back
It was an open box. Someone had this before and returned it. Missing packaging reinforcement inside/ paper tags detached.
Nevertheless I examined and tried it on.
Seemed to be ok and luckily seemed to fit.
I had waited long enough and just didn't want to go through re-ordering it. Bought a tank bag while I was there and came home with my new helmet
Looking at the alpine stars web site I saw that I could have ordered it directly from them as it showed in stock
I'm gonna be ok! It's the principal of this. I expected a sealed never been open new helmet - that's not what I got
Like I say the helmet is in good shape but to say the least very surprised/$1000.
The nice clean store with good sales people and good stock
Latest helmet technology with a brand I love

Bought a helmet today at the store
Date of experience: June 26, 2024
The shipping box Cycle Gear had no shipping protection measures. The helmet was just in a cardboard box with a cardboard triangle void filler and the shipping box had a crumbled up flat piece of paper on the top. A shipping box has 6 sides. Scorpion won't answer or respond to and email within a week July 7-13th and Cycle Gear said that's how all helmets are shipped. Fed Ex recommended shipping protection either bubble wrap or shipping peanuts. LS2 and Arai sent an e-mail stating they place bubble wrap and other protective measures when shipping. Cycle Gear is not held to the standard of shipping a helmet correctly. Bubble wrap is recyclable and every piece of used motorcycle parts I've ever ordered has been protected when shipped however when you order a new helmet it's tossed in a box and sent. Makes no sense.
That is where decided to purchase next helmet from.

As a new rider, CycleGear has helped me build my first set of gear to make me feel confident in learning how to ride as a late bloomer!
The access and availability of both inventory and stores close to me. Also, the employees that I’ve interacted with were top tier.
There’s a great mix of safety and style from so many brands that CG carries. Just as important as it is to be safe, it’s great that I don’t feel too dorky in my kit!

Ordered a jacket that was said to have some blemishes. Only thing blemished was strap to connect liner which is not a big deal to me.
Last mesh jacket got destroyed in a crash

Price difference, as well as the associates in the store not having any experience or information on the items. The package arrived damaged as well, with the product missing an earphone. Not a great experience.
Nearest store for motorcycle gear.
Reviews for the product were good.

The tech that helped me with the purchase went above and beyond to help me find the product I needed and when it came in a different tech helped install it, it was busy that day and he paused his break to help and so impressed with the dedication and kindness
Your workers are always so helpful and real. I don't feel like they are quoting a script when I speak with them

I love being able to go into the physical store and actually see the stuff and talk to people.
What I don't love is seeing that I could have ordered the same product from RevZilla, which would have come from the same warehouse and same company at the same price, but I might have gotten some ZillaCash with it.
Still, can't complain. Appreciate the service!

I am usually impressed by shipping time but this order took way too long. If the pants can be shortened for me, I will keep them, but otherwise I will return them to the SF store.

Ordering was quick and easy. The ignition coil was of high quality, with a higher output than the original and at a good price. Shipping was free and arrived a day early.
Because there is a store in Jacksonville so if I need some assistance it was right here.
I needed a new ignition coil and the one I chose appeared to be high quality with a higher voltage output than the origial at a good price and free shipping.

I finally convinced my wife to passenger on the back of my motorcycle, so it was time to get her a helmet. The first salesperson was not very impressed with my wife's lack of knowledge about picking the right size helmet. He ended up just walking away leaving us to fend for ourselves.
The second salesperson was much better and helped fit my wife with a new Shoei RF-1400.
The helmet had to be delivered, I had it sent to CycleGear with the plan to add a Sena com system. Upon my return, I was greeted by the same Salesperson who had failed us on the original visit. He declared that he was unable to help me with the Sena product because he was a Cardo person. (we wanted the mesh capabilities because I already had one) So CycleGear lost that sale to Amazon.
This has always been the store that I get my cycle gear.
I have a similar helmet and have been very satisfied with the brand.

The boots I ordered are great and fit perfect. The Sedici boot is a very good looking boot. Shipping was annoying since someone scanned my package incorrectly causing it to be stuck for an additional 4 days. Everything else was great
Purchased other items from the Columbus store and wanted to try the online store.
I read good reviews about the Sedici products.

The staff at Cycle Gear were extremely helpful in helping me to get the gloves I wanted; and the proper fit. The color(s) I wanted weren't currently in stock... so we ordered them, and they were delivered to my home in just a few days. Perfect.
I was looking for a relatively expensive pair of gloves ($225) -- so wanted to try-on numerous brands to get specific protective features, and a proper fit.

I had a devil of a time trying to bolt 4 "fingers" to the back plate. What should have taken 5 minutes took 20. It would help if "small screw (A)" were maybe an eighth inch longer
I did a Google search for holders. CycleGear had what looked to fit my needs best.
