Credibility. To have it and to let people believe you have it. I was super scared of buying on your platform. Did a Google search. Is Dan.com legit? In spite of positive results was reluctant to go ahead with the purchase. Ultimately it was like a gamble in my mind and I bought the domain. So happy that it was transferred to my account within 24 hrs and I had it running in that time. You guys are fantastic. Do something about your image or visibility. It's simply non existent. Anyway thanks again
Dan.com has been extremely frustrating with their customer support. My domains have been relisted repeatedly by sellers without my knowledge or permission. When I ask to have the sales listings removed, customer support has been slow to respond. Instead of immediately removing the "rogue" listings and asking those sellers to verify ownership, they seem to put the burden on the actual domain owner to prove it. And that's the case even if you aren't a Dan customer. One seller account has repeatedly relisted my domains without permission. And is still apparently very active with them. This is very sad to see that still a seller on Dan.com does not have to prove they actually own a domain in order to post a listing. Domain frontrunning is a concern on Dan.com
I purchased a domain recently on Dan.com and the transfer process was perfect. I will use Dan.com again and again

When people work hard on getting a trademark and spend money doing so. Dan.com is allowing you to buy there domain name and sell it back to them for ridiculous price. This people are criminals and so are the cyber squatters waiting to purchase your domain after you start your trademark application. Why not create a site that can actually help people this why the world is the way it is today. Please do not help these criminals!

These people will steal your domain name once you start your Trademark application so buy your domain name first. This site condones cyber squatting be very careful. and if try to reach out them they will give you the run around

They constantly email me asking me to buy a domain. Which I have replied to numerous times that I am not interested. I have asked them to stop. They now are contacting me thru google my business as if they are a customer. Again, trying to sell me a domain that I have not asked for. I put a negative review of them on trust pilot and they somehow got it taken down. This company is trash.

Whatever else these guys are, they are lazy, incompetent and draconian in their business dealings. We purchased a domain from them, elected installments, and promptly assumed it was on auto-pilot, which in my experience is super typical. Credit card info changed as we switched banks. 100% of every other vendor chased us down to update the info, but not Dan.com.
They simply shut down our website, which SHUT DOWN ALL OF OUR BUSINESS EMAILS, within 10 days of a missed payment. Was there an attempt to chase us down? Nope, not until the morning of.
Obviously we updated payment info as soon as we realized what was happening, expecting immediate reinstatement. But not Dan.com. Their team was 'gone for the day' (this was 9 AM PST, mind you), so IT TOOK 24 HOURS TO GET OUR EMAIL BACK UP.
Not worth the business risk to transact with these guys. As shady and lazy a business operation as I've ever worked with.

Do not use this service. There are plenty of other options; domain sales are a commodity.

They will tell you the domain will be transfered i after few days, then 5 days then 7 days
When you reach the 7 days, they will not even reply to your question and you will get stuck.
And they will tell it is not their fault the registrar has blocked the transfer.
So might take 1 month, 2 months, you will never know

They steal your domain name and then try to sell it. If you happen to visit the page too often, the price will only increase. Do not work with these guys, instead choose another domain name please.

They will sell you a domain have you go to a website and then refuse to help when you cannot get it unlocked. They say wait 60 days. They will take your money and not help. Avoid them at all cost.
