I must say my experience shopping with Stacees was absolutely amazing. I was kept in the loop from the moment I placed my order to the moment the dress was delivered at my door. The dress itself was absolutely beautiful, the picture didn't even do justice to what the actual dress looked like in person. My daughter got so much compliments and she felt like an absolute princess.
BE AWARE! They say you have 7 days to return. My daughter changed her venue so she changed her dress. We bought a vail Saturday 9/7. We went to return it Saturday 9/14 and they said she could not return because it had been EIGHT DAYS? This was a $200 vail, which is alot of money. I just worry this may happen to someone with a $1,000 dress. The manager was SOOOO RUDEEEE about it as well. I wish I could upload photos. She BOLDLY highlighted the 7 day return policy on every receipt we had that day. I'm not sure what calendar they use but my entire 50 years on this planet a week from Saturday is Saturday.? I couldn't believe it. We went from finding a beautiful dress and being excited about that… that process was painful as well for the record. I got scolded for looking for a dress she had tried before to try again and was told I couldn't touch the dresses again. I guess you can touch them when u get there to pick 3, but DO NOT touch after that. They could not find the dress we wanted to see again. They said it would be on their tablet in her profile, it was not. They had dresses on there that we had never seen before though…? So since I was not able to go grab it, we were not permitted to try it again… our experience the week before was WAY different, we had Kat and she was AMAZING and made it a fun and happy day. She was not available the 14th and it was a stressful experience. We didn't get to see all the dresses we wanted and then had to argue that 7 days was not 8 days. She bought the dress because it was perfect, but she decided not to get it tailored there or give any more business to them after being treated so rudely. We shopped at the Dayton Ohio location both times for reference. I've never been treated like I was a total idiot for not buying 7 days is actually 8 days. The manager was nasty.beyond nasty to us. My daughter left with her hands shaking and so upset on what should have been a wonderful memory…
I went to David's Bridal in West Palm Beach, and Ross helped me find the perfect dress. Honestly it was the first time I walked in, and he was so energetic, and eager to help me what exactly what I needed. Because he was so efficient in his work, knowledge, and ability to understand my likes and dislikes for my wedding gown, I wound up ACTUALLY finding the right dress within a matter of under 1 hour. He also helped me understand what alterations may appear for the dress, helped me book my alteration appointment, and really took the time to help me find the right accessories to add to the dress. The dress I ultimately chose was one I didn't even see! He found it for me, after hearing me about what my likes and dislikes are for a dress, he just knew. This man is a wonderful people listener, wonderful helper, so eager to help, and seriously so kind and nice. He made my experience with David's Bridal a 5 star experience. I purchased my dress on the same visit, and couldn't be happier. Thank you so much Ross, you're a true team player, a great helper, and thanks to you - my wedding will now be even more special because of the dress you found that fits EXACTLY what I wanted! :)

My friend (the bride) had booked me and the bridesmaids in for a dress fitting in the Stratford shop. They sized me and the other bridesmaid up and calculated on paper cm's to UK sizes, firstly if you want to feel crap about yourself go to Davids Bridal. Our stylist seemed nice, however, she sized me three times bigger than I am. I am a size 12, occasionally 14 and she sized me as a UK18. Firstly I felt as if I was going to cry in the shop there and then. Every dress I tried on in a size 18 swamped me and she had to pin back several times. I tried to collect a few 14's and put them outside my dressing room to try on and every time I went to the rail they had gone and been replaced with 18s and even size 22's. When I finally managed to try a 14 on after protesting so much, it was still too big and had to be pinned back. Do they make money on alterations? I was not allowed to try on my size and was humiliated and infuriated. Also I recently got engaged, they have lost a customer as I will NEVER go back to David's Bridal.

I received my dress from the Monroeville store and I had a wonderful experience from my sales associate Kara Joe to the seamstress who did the alterations I don't remember her name but she was great and also a great thanks to Darlene, I would recommend this store to anyone who is seeking to get a wedding dress and have a wonderful experience while doing it.

On Sun. May 22nd i ordered a dress, they did not have the size i wanted. (they made me pay $20 extra to rush it... Sales clerk at the time told me if the dress did not work out when it comes in i could return it and get my $$ back. Got a text on Sat. May 28 that the dress came in. Went in Sun May 29th to try on and dress looked horrible. Told them i did not want the dress and wanted my money back and was informed i had to return it within 7 days of purchasing? Does any of this make any sense when i did not even have the dress in hand on Sun the 22nd?... they did not even tell me initially that i could choose something else-they made it seem like i had lost all my coins. Ok, later found out i still would not get all of my money back but i could try to find another dress. Could not find anything so i had to buy items for other family members just to get a percentage of my money back... i am still without a dress for my cousin's wedding... staff was sketchy and did not seem forthcoming with each other and even more so with customers. If you don't have the item i am looking for and i order it FROM YOU, why do i have to pay to have it rushed AND why did i not get all of my $200plus back?! Will never go there again and will never recommend them to anyone because i think they are deceptive... i am still pissed.

I ordered my dress back in December and they lost it so much and kept telling me different stories about where it was. I got it very end of March (but barely). I contacted customer service so many times and they refused to do a thing for me. They kept telling me that it was in in store order and that I had to deal with the store. I kept having to go down to the store in person many times and they could not even find my dress. I needed this dress altered and they told me it would be AT LEAST another month until they could get to it. Well if I waited that long, I'd have no dress for my wedding. Jokes on me though on the end because I had to take it some place else and pay them another 350 dollars and it still doesn't fit right because they couldn't alter it properly due to the fact they do not have the beads there. I spent over 1k on a dress I can not wear. You literally can not call them or email them since they do not care about you and will not respond. I literally could only recommend this place if the dress fits you and you can walk out with it. I should have went elsewhere when it took them 5x to alter my friends wedding dress since they kept screwing that up too.

I purchased a beautiful wedding dress for my daughter, the cost very pricey but I was ok because the detail of the dress,of course need alterations having 2 ladies taking the measurements after all they gives the total price of $1,845 for alterations, wish I was agree due to the dress had to be fix it 3 layers, side of the dress, sleeves and add 26 bottoms of the price $5.00 dollars each, well I was really upset when the call us to fit the dress and they hate to re- alterations because they didn't fix right, the problem wasn't that the problem was they wanted to charge me more money, because they said that was not written on the list the sleeves, so I have to pay $350 more, so I did it because not choice for me no time for my daughter wedding, so we back to one week later and the dress still has issues, was uneven on the bottom some areas up and some area to low, so we took the dress like that, my daughter cry and it was not much to do, I will never come back to get anything from this place at Frico David's Bridal store or any other store from this place, week after a coincidence my daughter got married and she was complaining about this same situation and it was same place, this is insane.
Please be careful to get you alterations on this place.

I ordered 4 dresses online to see what fits best. I was shipped 3 and billed for all 4. At a whopping $534.00! The tracking details read "no tracking details" and it has been weeks now since I had placed my order. I have called and text customer service with no response. The text number, they promote just goes dark after you select the reason for your text. I was on hold for 1 hour and 40 mins, just to get my turn in queue and have dead air. I spent hours trying to reach them. Not sure if I'll get the dress I ordered. With no tracking number available, my guess is the item is no longer in stock. I will be out over $200.00. I will never buy from them again! Below are the images of my time on hold and the text messages of being ghosted.

When trying on and buying my dress the women who worked there helping kept stating that the size "8" is the same as the size "6" and that the dresses are the same size? So the day of my alterations they try to tell me my dress is too big and that no one told me the dresses are the "same size". You can ask the other 4 people who were with me and heard the same thing. THEN the alterations lady was the RUDEST person and did NOT make my experience a pleasant one. She was trying to force me to get a hem and to get all kind of things done to my wedding dress that I didn't want and then got rude with me rolling her eyes and raising her voice when I told her I didn't want to do that. After picking up my dress after alterations THE VERY NEXT DAY I had 2 buttons come off and not to mention they left another button off my dress. I Later found out the rude lady was the alterations manager at the Spartanburg office named Alexis. How rude of you to act like that to me as a paying customer. I will NEVER buy from this company again and I will let everyone I know the big inconvenience I've came across. VIP alterations in boiling springs is fixing my buttons and I totally recommend them for all your alteration needs! Do not waste your time with the rude customer service at David's Bridal

My entire experience here was horrible! The day I came to try dresses on for my big day I had a dress online I absolutely loved but they didn't have it in my size. So I tried on similar ones and found one that fit perfect. All it needed was shortened and a little lace detail over the arm. Like a hanging cap maybe 3-4inches if fabric. I was told that day that they could take the extra fabric from the bottom and add that no problem. I was also told that because I made an appointment I was going to get 10% off my purchase. Got in my car so excited and when I got home realized I didn't get the 10% off. I called a couple days after to get a ruff estimate on the alterations price and was told it will definitely not be over $100 since my dress only had 3 layers and just needed shorten. And because of that I didn't stress the 10% off. I came for my alterations was told that can't do the lace detail on the arm like I was promised and then was charged $270 for literally just taking 7inches off the bottom in the front of my dress. The manager came up and said she could take $50 off since I was a diamond reward member and there was a coupon for the first alterations. Like why wasn't that offered already! I wasn't asked at all at checkout if I had rewards membership. I was so upset I couldn't help but cry and it was so embarrassing crying in front of strangers feeling like I just got lied too and totally misled. This is supposed to be the one thing about a wedding the bride dreams of and they have ruined my experience! I'm completely crushed!

I went with my mother to look at bridal gowns at DB. I found one I liked. A discountuned a sheath dress with detachable train. Mom took pictures so I could send to dad who lives in a different state. I put it in layaway (I don't recommend this as they will get your gown dirty. Before leaving the store, I watched the sale lady put my dress, train, preservation kit, other accessories in the garmet bag. Three months later when I went to pick up my dress, the staff was suprized I wanted to try it on in the store. After trying my dress on, it was dirty as if someone had worn it, sequences were loose, the preservation kit inside of the bag was damaged, and the garmet bag was dirty. When I asked what happened to my dress, all the staff could tell me was that it must have been part the wet shipment they received. I informed them my dress was bought at this location, not order. They replaced the garmet bag, preseevasion kit, spot cleaned my dress. They never acknowledged their mistake, took responsibility to make it right or offer to reduce the price I paid for my dress. I don't recommend buying from DB because of this.

I was led to believe that the dress I ordered was discontinued by Davids Bridal Stores, both in Canton and Akron. There seems to be a pattern here with every review website I've visited. I was the mother of the bride and spent 289.00 on a dress that after arrival was too big. When I asked to exchange it both stores told me it was discontinued. I then had 145.00 in alterations done (at the Fairlawn store) and the dress was still too big. The next day I looked on line and there was my dress for 129.00, in the size I wanted. I bought it figuring I would have to pay at least that much more for additional alterations on the first dress. I then took it in and they charged me to hem it! I complained to the manager Jennifer who was supposed to get back to me in three days... It was three weeksand I finally called her. When I called her back she said they wanted me to come back in to see how the first dress fit. Another inconvenience. They saw how it fit the first time I was there. I ended up spending close to 600.00 on the dresses and it was because they told me it was discontinued and then did a lousy job altering it! David's Bridal stores are scamming consumers and I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone!

I ordered a simple dress for a second wedding on the beach. The customer service during the purchase phase was impeccable. A good amount of suggestive sales occurred to complete the entire look.
I was contacted by phone saying my dress was in so I contacted my daughters to attend the fitting (one driving an hour from out of town). We arrived and were informed the decorative belt was in but the dress had not arrived. We left.
I was not contacted again. After several more weeks following the recommend 4-6 week delivery timeframe I attempted to contact the store during business hours. I followed the telephone prompts and was unable to even leave a message. After a few more tries I opted for the alterations department prompt. The seamstress put me on hold to check on my dress (not her job) and informed me that the dress was in. I picked up the dress that day, tried it on and scheduled a fitting.
I arrived for my 10 am fitting with my dress in tow at 9:58. I was made to wait outside the door as they opened the door for an employee to enter them locked the door again and waited two more minutes while an employee stood feet from me inside the door. At 10am when they opened they let me in. I informed the manager of the poor customer service and she said the cash register was not operational before 10 and offered no further explanations or apologies.
During the alterations I was fitted, signed paperwork then was told my $200 wedding dress would cost $200 to alter. I am a size 12 and a size 16 was ordered requiring significant alterations. I am of average proportions and buy off the rack.
My alterations appointment was delayed to the point where it would have been difficult to find another seamstress in the time remaining prior to my wedding. I felt stuck to pay the exorbitant amount.
Do your homework. This was the most stressful part of my wedding planning when it should have been a memorable experience.

I ordered a dress as the mother of the groom at the request of the bride. My dress came in shortly after I had major knee surgery, making it impossible for me to pick up my dress. No problem. The bride was going with her bridesmaids to order their dresses. Problem. The dress the bride picked out for the bridesmaids did not come in the color/sizes needed for the bridesmaids. The bride chose new dresses for the bridesmaids. Therefore she chose new dresses for the mothers. The dress I ordered was brought to me by the bride. She told me that she was told in the store that the dress could be exchanged. We chose another dress in the color the bride wanted. The bride took my dress to the store to return it and order the one we decided on. The bride was informed that the dress could not be returned without the credit card. She was also told that I had 30 days from the time the dress was picked up. So, I ordered the new dress online since there were only 6 left in my color and size. My son brought the dress back to the store the very next weekend with my credit card to return the dress. This time, the store manager, Natalie, informed my son (and me along with my husband via phone) that we only had 7 days to return the dress and that time had expired. There was nothing she could do is what we were told. She had no desire to help us. Her customer service skills were horrible. Even if there was nothing she could, she could have used better customer service skills to inform her customer base. What happened to the adage that the customer is always right? If not, make them happy. I'm not happy. I need alterations done, but Natalie won't be getting my business.

Just got off the phone with a store manager on David's Bridal. I decided to drop out of a wedding last minute because I will be flying internationally. I am sitting on a final sale bridesmaid dress that I do not need.
In 2019, customer service in other apparel companies have been elevated to accommodate the needs and satisfaction of the customer. I would assume that David's Bridal would be no different. If something is not satisfactory, a means to accommodate the customer should be of first priority. For example, giving a customer store credit. If the person no longer has need for the dress, at least permit them to have store credit online or in-store.
The operations in David's Bridal is antiquated and inefficient. The retail location and the Dot.Com store are not linked and are treated as separate entities. That is such an archaic approach to running a retail clothing brand.
NOT TO MENTION, David's Bridal (unless you get it altered) is not a customizable purchase. They act like they've sent the order for the garment to be specially made and sent to the dye house for a custom color. If it was a customization, unaltered design, then of course it should not be returned or exchanged. However, all their styles are sitting in a warehouse somewhere collecting dust, ready to be sold. It's not a big deal to enable in-store or online credit.
Onto my next point, David's Bridal is the mass market supplier of Bridal apparel, not some high end store. Most of their customers are likely to be on a budget. So when they are denied means for store credit, that David's Bridal knowing that they can take advantage of this consumer market and think they can get away from taking their money.
There is no fostering of customer relationships or honest store policies. It is antiquated, wasteful and does not follow sustainable, compliance standards. Do NOT hop at David's Bridal. Especially the location on W Pico Blvd in Los Angeles, CA.
Save your money for a store that has a more accommodating, relevant return policy and isn't still stuck in the 90s in the worst way.
Tip for consumers:
Do not shop at David's Bridal. Especially the W Pico Blvd location in Los Angeles.
