I must say my experience shopping with Stacees was absolutely amazing. I was kept in the loop from the moment I placed my order to the moment the dress was delivered at my door. The dress itself was absolutely beautiful, the picture didn't even do justice to what the actual dress looked like in person. My daughter got so much compliments and she felt like an absolute princess.
BE AWARE! They say you have 7 days to return. My daughter changed her venue so she changed her dress. We bought a vail Saturday 9/7. We went to return it Saturday 9/14 and they said she could not return because it had been EIGHT DAYS? This was a $200 vail, which is alot of money. I just worry this may happen to someone with a $1,000 dress. The manager was SOOOO RUDEEEE about it as well. I wish I could upload photos. She BOLDLY highlighted the 7 day return policy on every receipt we had that day. I'm not sure what calendar they use but my entire 50 years on this planet a week from Saturday is Saturday.? I couldn't believe it. We went from finding a beautiful dress and being excited about that… that process was painful as well for the record. I got scolded for looking for a dress she had tried before to try again and was told I couldn't touch the dresses again. I guess you can touch them when u get there to pick 3, but DO NOT touch after that. They could not find the dress we wanted to see again. They said it would be on their tablet in her profile, it was not. They had dresses on there that we had never seen before though…? So since I was not able to go grab it, we were not permitted to try it again… our experience the week before was WAY different, we had Kat and she was AMAZING and made it a fun and happy day. She was not available the 14th and it was a stressful experience. We didn't get to see all the dresses we wanted and then had to argue that 7 days was not 8 days. She bought the dress because it was perfect, but she decided not to get it tailored there or give any more business to them after being treated so rudely. We shopped at the Dayton Ohio location both times for reference. I've never been treated like I was a total idiot for not buying 7 days is actually 8 days. The manager was nasty.beyond nasty to us. My daughter left with her hands shaking and so upset on what should have been a wonderful memory…
All staff I interacted with both, in the store, and on the phone we're very helpful, kind and accommodating.

I purchased a wedding dress for my daughter, a bridesmaid dress for a younger daughter, and a dress for myself for my daughter's wedding. The selection was limited due to holidays and perhaps COVID. I reluctantly went ahead and ordered a dress I could not try on due to limited availability assuming that if the dress did not fit when it arrived, I would have the opportunity to try it on and change my mind at that point. At no point did a David's Bridal Associate mention that I would not have the opportunity to see the item I was purchasing before it became a final sale. Afterwards, I found a dress from another retailer online that was better suited for the occasion, was shipped to me quickly, and I was able to try on at home ( AND RETURN IF NECESSARY). I loved the new dress and went ahead and bought it certain that because David's Bridal had not provided a dress, I could return a dress that had not been provided - and that I wasn't given the opportunity to try on. When I phoned the store to let them know that I did not plan to pick up the dress, and wished to return it I was told that I only had 7 days after purchase to return the item and that the time frame had passed as I patiently waited for the dress to arrive so I could try it on. I called corporate, but was told the same thing. David's Bridal has lost all future business from this customer and any family members and friends that I associate with. This is the worst return policy and customer service imaginable, and has certainly left a lasting impression. Buyers beware! You cannot return items you have never seen, tried on, or touched!

I had several horrible experiences in the actual stores, so when my bridesmaids found their dress, I helped two of my girls out by getting them online and shipped to my mom (I live in a different state now than my hometown friends). The purchasing process online was easy. I found the dress by the item number on the tag and ordered the dresses. What was NOT clear is that once the dress arrives you only get 14 days to return it if there is an issue (sizing, color, rips, etc). I had an issue, my one bridesmaid couldn't get the dress because they said it would take 2-3 months to get in and she was in Florida for a wedding when it arrived. By the time she got back and was able to get the dress and try it on it had been 30 days. I tried to take the dress back to the store and exchange the size. Unfortunately, because I purchased it online it could ONLY be returned to them and refunded by them. I asked her if it was going to be a problem and she said no just say it was a sizing issue. After calling one of the representatives, who was very rude, I was able to resolve the problem and they sent me a size bigger. My second issue with ordering online is that the second dress we had sent to the store to pick up. Once again, no issues with the process, however, once it arrived in the store they called my bridesmaid and told her that she only had SEVEN days to pick it up or it would be placed on the sales rack and be made available for someone else to purchase. I don't know about you guys but that's pretty messed up to me. She purchased that dress, she should be able to pick it up when she can without the worry of it being sold to someone else or loss of money.
I won't ever be using them again.

Terrible. Thieves!
Recently, My BRIDE bought a David Brudak Gown at the Store in San Diego; the saleswoman assured her it was fully refundable. But they had to transfer from another wearhouse (7-10 days). NO CONTACT SINCE.
My bride tried it on at a different store - pretty but did not fit her.
So My Bride called, NO REFUNDS - since she did not call back in a couple days OF ORIGINAL purchase! WE pounted out that polucybis absurb; the dress was Bot even at theirvstore in a couole if days of purchase/ and my wife Never even was able to see the dress at that store!
The Store Mgr confirmed a NO REUND POLICY.
We are planning to Sue their parent Company. We are trying to reach their Board of DIrectors - but yet no response.
THESE PEOPLE A CROOKS AND SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO RIP OFF BRIDES!

I ordered a dress for my son's wedding. The assistant helping me suggested that I order the dress & if I should find another dress that I could simply return the one I ordered. You have to make returns in Person (not online or over the phone). I live an Hour & a half away. Just order from Amazon please! Their return policies & practices are much easier. The year is 2023- you would think to return a dress online would be easy -especially if you used a card. But nope they wanted me to drive a total of 3 hours to "pick up" the dress & wait 10min to let the computer system update & then they would allow me to RETURN the dress…. So $149 I wasted on a dress that I never wore nor do I have my hands on bc I couldn't get there in time before they returned it back to the warehouse! Oh this was after they called me to tell me they were going to return it to the warehouse if I didn't get there to pick it up. Then the assistant argued with me that I should've received an automated text days prior… which I didn't bc it was my home phone number they had. No one ever explained the process would be an automated text bc of course they would've needed my cell #. Anyway- Do not waste your time with David's Bridal! It's a joke. I mean my DIL's bridesmaids had no issues ordering theirs online & returning them if they needed another size. But- nope not mine…. No help whatsoever! Then acted as if it's my fault that I'm upset by having to drive back to make the "return" that we couldn't take care of this on the phone or online that I HAD to come to the store IN PERSON to return! again I thought we lived in the 21st century. Very sad.
Tip for consumers:
Just be aware that if you purchase something in their store to be shipped to the store, you have to pick it up in person they will not refund it to you unless you put your hands on it - big misunderstanding on their policy of returns.

I went to DB December 2019 as the bride. I had my time slot which allowed for me to try on 5 dresses. I had a couple others I was interested in trying on, however they were so quick to conclude the visit and made me reschedule for another fitting. The dressing rooms were empty across and the bridesmaids asked if they could try on a few dresses however they were told no. The store was not busy. We left. I purchased my wedding gown elsewhere. Then I called DB in June 2020 to discuss bridesmaid dresses, I was told August was plenty of time for delivery in November 2020. I took 1 of my 4 BMs in August, and she picked her dress, only to find out at the register, it wasn't available... then she had THREE dresses to pick from. No others were available. Then my 2nd BM went and had 7 options, perhaps size differences or location. I took my junior BM and they had no options, I looked online, and the dress she wanted was on DB website, so I ordered. My last BM made appointment and picked dress, however we are still waiting for delivery?. For some reason I tried one last time with my mom. I made a 4:30 appointment online. When we arrived the woman told me it was for 530. I pulled email and she INSISTED I was wrong. I showed her email and then she quickly blamed computer system. We had help from the same woman from the first trip, and again She provided my mom with a dress that wasn't available, which we didn't know until she wanted that one and went to pay. I pulled it up on DB website and ordered it, as it was available online! She received it in the mail 4 days later. We are done! It is as if they don't care about brides, or customers because they only have to work with them one time and don't care about future relationship. Awful way to run a business.

For Davi's Bridal, Vista, CA.
Worst return ever.
BUYER BEWARE
I bought two dresses and a shawl on Saturday. I checked their return policy and they said it was OK to return items within seven days.
On Monday, after my family and I decided on a dress, I tried to return one of the dresses. But, unlike every other retailer I frequent, they wouldn't process the return without the original reciept - the purchasing credit card was not sufficient. So I drove all the way home to fetch my original reciept.
All good, right?
Not even close. For some unknown reason, the original reciept was not enough to give me my money back. They wouldn't process the reutrn without an ID and credit card. I HAD THE RECIEPT! Why do you need anything more?
OK, fine, I've had it at this point. I give them my ID, credit card, and original reciept. They processed the reutrn AND WOULD NOT RETURN MY RECIEPT. IT'S MY PROPERTY! I have two more items on that reciept. What if I want to return those items? Now I can't do that because I don't have my original reciept?
To add insult to injury, after much arguing, they printed out a copy of my original reciept from their terminal instead of giving me MY reciept. Really? They had my reciept all the time and could have just printed it out and used it just like every other retailer in Southern California. I think that this "policy" is designed to keep you from returning stuff, even though they have a return policy.
Buyer beware.

When I picked up my wedding gown, it was totally disappointed the service and the staff at Woodbridge location. The first time when I made full payment for the dress and tried the dress, the service was good, especially the Alterations Manager, she gave her professional advise and suggestion. A few weeks later, when I came back to pick up, I did not feel welcoming at all with the staff who helped me to get the dress out from their receiver department. When I asked about the garment bag for the dress, they require to pay $10 extra for just a garment bag, which the dress is over $1600, it's not a cheap dress, David's Bridal should be provide a garment bag for every purchase. I was very surprise that such a big bridal store and DO NOT provide the bag. The whole conversation from that staff was not nice, when she said ' you have to try it on, I said I have to come back for alterations anyway, I could just check if the dress has damage. She seems just want to get me out as quickly as possible, but the store was pretty empty at noon time during the week. But the way she talked was rude and not friendly or welcome at all. I forgot to ask her name, otherwise I would have to name it here. Very disappointed about the whole service from David's bridal, not a best place to get your wedding gown to be honest, you pay that amount of money, but you don't get the equal service. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.
Update: I got their response today, but they didnt do any compensate or just giveaway a garment bag.
Their response:

August of 2022 my daughter and her bridesmaids, future mother in law, several aunts and myself went to David's Bridal in South Portland. The six bridesmaids all ordered dresses, and my daughter found her dream dress. I have copious amounts of photos and videos. I saw all the dresses she tried on. She had saved for two years to buy this dress. When we went to pay for it, I watched the associate key in the dress.
It was $800…
$$$950. Lined. I have photos of my daughter in the dress with the price tag.
In… October? She picked the dress up. Was told not to open it as it was protected. Given an alteration time.
At that time we purchased the dress in August I asked what alterations cost.
I was told between $$$$300 and $$$$$$500 dollars.
My daughter brought the dress home and stored it in our guest room.
Two weeks ago, she and another bridesmaid went to her fitting.
They opened the dress.
Wrong dress. She called me in tears. I told her to relax, that they would fix it.
They did not.
They not only told her they couldn't get the dress she tried on and "said yes to" (so much for the bell ringing charade they put on) but… "oh look. We can give you the floor model."
That's been tried on countless times and is NOT lined as promised.
And…. They made a tearful panicked 22 year old bride that she had to pay an additional
$$$$$$$$280.
But they "gave" her a 10% discount.
Today, she brought it in for her alteration appointment.
They charged her
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$716.
For alterations
UNLINED.
So an $800 dress …
$800 dress
$150 lined
$280 for THEIR MISTAKE
$716 for alterations…. Not lined.____________
$1946.00
More than double the cost.
This company should be shut down.
Oh …. Look…
CBS news
"David's Bridal filed for bankruptcy on Monday just days after announcing plans to lay off more than 9,000 workers nationwide later this year."
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/davids-bridal-bankrupt-9000-layoffs/
Shown in the photos is my daughters public review… their public response…. And in black, their private response.
It was not exceptional service and we are not satisfied.
Disgraceful fleecing of customers.

I am beyond upset this this company. The first dress I bought was ordered in brand new from the factory. When it arrived there were so many defects. It had things missing was was coming apart at the seems before I could even get it out of the bag! With that being the case I did not feel good about the quality I was receiving but I could not get my money back and go else wear because "it was past 7 days of purchase" which is completely out of my control, because I had to order the dress. So after expressing my concern and not being able to get my money back, I found a different dress that would hopefully be of better quality and I did... but when it came time to order the dress the store associated insisted that I order 2 sizes up from the size I had on in the store... when I got this second dress in and put it on it was WAY to big! I called the store and informed them of how big it was and they said to come in and see the alterations department so I did. I expressed at that very moment that I wanted to order the right size but they pretty much told me they were not going to do that and they would just alter the dress to fit. With my hands tied and having to trust these people I went for not one but two alterations appointments and each time I expressed that I was not happy with how the dress looked. The alterations completely changed the shape of the top of the dress. My dress was taken in 4.5 inches on each side for a total of 9 inches taken in on the dress because it was 9 inches too big and was ordered in the wrong size per your staff. I went back to the store to try and correct the situation and I was told that there would be nothing done but if you want to buy another dress from us I can give you 20% off... I spent hundreds of dollars on my dress and $500 ON ALTERATIONS ALL WITH YOUR COMPANY! This is just wrong... this is my WEDDING dress. This is a big deal and David's Bridal doesn't care and will not rectify the situation.
Tip for consumers:
Dint let them order to big of dress

I went to the Springfield location to try on wedding dresses and had an appointment mind you, the store was crowded and I felt like the consultant working with me wasn't actually focused on the appointment. There was three other ladies she was pulling dresses for and I was looking for an era specific dress to fit my wedding theme. She pulled this Melissa Sweet dress for me told me it was the last one and that it would fit my theme perfectly, now I didn't have anyone with me so I was relying on the consultant for honest feedback about what the dress looked like on me. Her exact words were " that dress is so you, it fits perfectly and looks amazing on you" I was unsure about buying the dress and told her that she told me it was the only one and they couldn't hold it for me. Worried I would miss out I asked her about returns she told me I could return it for store credit if I didn't like it. Ok fast forward to now I am completely unhappy in the dress it doesn't feel like the dress I'm supposed to have which makes me uncomfortable and I definitely don't feel beautiful in it so I call to find out about exchanging it for something else only to find out I can't return it because it's past the 90 policy. My wedding is in 5 weeks and I'm stuck with a dress I don't want to wear because the consultant wasn't forthcoming with the information about the return policy at the appointment. The customer service lady today didn't seem to care her solution was oh well you could always sell the dress and come in to purchase a different one. Are you bat$#*! crazy lady I spent 1600. 00 on a wedding gown I'm now stuck with plus all the jewelry to go with shoes, and over $500 on dresses for my daughters who are in the wedding oh and plus shoes for them as well. Davids bridal doesn't care one bit for their customer, their experience, or their big day all they care about is lining their pockets. The fact that they don't stand behind their product or admit that consultants lie to get the sale because surprise they work off commissions. Will never go here EVER again, and everyone else should run the other way.
