I must say my experience shopping with Stacees was absolutely amazing. I was kept in the loop from the moment I placed my order to the moment the dress was delivered at my door. The dress itself was absolutely beautiful, the picture didn't even do justice to what the actual dress looked like in person. My daughter got so much compliments and she felt like an absolute princess.
BE AWARE! They say you have 7 days to return. My daughter changed her venue so she changed her dress. We bought a vail Saturday 9/7. We went to return it Saturday 9/14 and they said she could not return because it had been EIGHT DAYS? This was a $200 vail, which is alot of money. I just worry this may happen to someone with a $1,000 dress. The manager was SOOOO RUDEEEE about it as well. I wish I could upload photos. She BOLDLY highlighted the 7 day return policy on every receipt we had that day. I'm not sure what calendar they use but my entire 50 years on this planet a week from Saturday is Saturday.? I couldn't believe it. We went from finding a beautiful dress and being excited about that… that process was painful as well for the record. I got scolded for looking for a dress she had tried before to try again and was told I couldn't touch the dresses again. I guess you can touch them when u get there to pick 3, but DO NOT touch after that. They could not find the dress we wanted to see again. They said it would be on their tablet in her profile, it was not. They had dresses on there that we had never seen before though…? So since I was not able to go grab it, we were not permitted to try it again… our experience the week before was WAY different, we had Kat and she was AMAZING and made it a fun and happy day. She was not available the 14th and it was a stressful experience. We didn't get to see all the dresses we wanted and then had to argue that 7 days was not 8 days. She bought the dress because it was perfect, but she decided not to get it tailored there or give any more business to them after being treated so rudely. We shopped at the Dayton Ohio location both times for reference. I've never been treated like I was a total idiot for not buying 7 days is actually 8 days. The manager was nasty.beyond nasty to us. My daughter left with her hands shaking and so upset on what should have been a wonderful memory…
My cousin went to David's Bridal for her dress and it turned out to be a disaster. The worst part was their poor customer service and placing the blame of their mess up on her. Her experience explained by her sister:
"The dress she found needed sleeves. She paid for the dress and the alterations and they used the wrong material without her permission. They blamed it on the one she chose being out of stock. But they never mentioned it to her before they sewed the sleeves on and then they added extra layers of material because the back was kind of see through." "And the dress does not fit all. And they won't give her a refund!"
The worst part is that they didn't try to make it right, instead they made a bunch of excuses. I almost bought a dress from David's Bridal for my wedding and what a blessing that I didn't end up going through with it. Look at the headache they give brides, especially when the bride is already under a lot of stress. Do better, David's Bridal, or you just might go out of business.

The workers were super helpful and wanted to make sure I was comfortable if the dress. They also talked about other things with me and just had normal conversations not just if I'm buying something.

I walked in and was immediately greeted, I was looking last minute (my fault) for a bridesmaids dress and Chandler from the Murfreesboro TN (Avenue Store) was the one who saved the day! He saw what I was looking for and what color and picked the first dress out in my size and it was PERFECT! And the best part was the price, I got a Steele! Then he was able to help me buy some accessories for the dress and now I feel confident and less stressed for the big day coming in 4 days.
Thank you Chandler for all your help, you truly are what great customer service needs to be about!
HORRIBLE customer service experience. Do not order online from this business or you will regret it! Their website is poorly designed, very slow, and often doesn't work at all. Returns are laborious and confusing. The dresses are all identified by 10 word names rather than a simple number. Very tedious. If there's a problem, you can only communicate via text message on a phone -- phone calls are only answered by a message telling you to text, so you can't simply TALK to a person, and there's no e-mail address. Texting and waiting for responses takes forever. I spent literally all day on this yesterday, the issue wasn't resolved, and then the next day, the whole thing started all over again with a new rep as if nothing had ever happened yesterday. I could've explained the whole thing in a 5 minute phone conversation. It was a mistake on David Bridal's part, not mine, and no one should have to go through this just to get a refund for a dress already returned.
We're in a pandemic, and if this business hopes to survive, it needs to make some serious changes in how it deals with customers online and create a 21st century website that actually works rather than being constantly frustrating.
I bought 2 shoes for sons wedding didn't see you have only 7 days to return Never wore them didn't fit right they wouldn't refund me would never shop here again

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Called because I ordered a dress online it came in with security tags on it! Unfortunately I waited online an hour and 15 mins to be disrespected and told to bring the gown to a Walmart or Target to have ink tag removed because I don't live near a David's bridal. I asked for a manager and was refused by Sophie the rude lady who took my call to be connected to one! She resorted to calling me customer! Vs my name. She yelled and spoke over me and said well what do you want us to do! I will NEVER ORDER FROM DAVIDS BRIDAL AGAIN!
We went in just kinda looking but ended up buying a dress thanks to ZIA she was wonderful we will be coming back for more stuff and we will make sure that ZIA is the one to wait on us karen burns evansville indiana
My soon to be daughter in law purchased a dress from David's Bridal in Montgomery, Al. The young lady who originally helped us was great, but that is where it stopped. The day of dress fitting was a nightmare. The young girl who came in to assist with the alterations didn't act very professional and was more concerned with with what every stitch would cost extra. The day of the last fitting was last Saturday and it was a complete nightmare. The seamstress was a much older lady and stated she didn't do the alterations on the dress that were already done (only one side was done) so who did them? We never found that out. After two attempts to fix the mess she said she had done all she could do. We asked to speak to the store manager and asked for a refund for the alterations that had been done but incorrectly. A huge run around. A text was sent to corporate and as of now we haven't heard from them. We would highly recommend that you not used David's Bridal period. We now have to take the dress to another seamstress for her to try and fix this mess. My daughter is getting married soon and she will have 2 dresses, but they will not come from this shop.
The return policy is 7 days. This is an absolute joke. What bride, in the midst of planning a wedding, has time to return to the store within 7 days to make a return? Past that 7 days, you have a whole two months to exchange the item for store credit. I purchased a pair of shoes that I loved, but later realized would not go with my accessories. I did not wear them. It is still 5 months before my wedding. And I was told there is nothing they could do about it. They couldn't refund my money and put the shoes back on the shelf. And why not? Mind you, this was not a custom order. This was not even an online order. I purchased them in the store, put them in a closet, and then realized I could not wear them to the wedding. I really hope that all the present and future brides out there choose a different place to shop for their dresses and accessories. This experience made it clear that David's Bridal is in it to profit any way they possibly can, even if that means forcing brides into trying to sell unused accessories online, just so they don't waste $50 on something that will never be worn. I sincerely hope that this review reaches enough people to ruin this company's bottom line. Perhaps then they will learn some flexibility and proper customer service.
Davids bridal is a really neat place to buy wedding dresses and more. They have a big selection but prces are kinda high on some. Customer service is okay but not the best

Purchased my wedding dress with them, also where my bridesmaids got their dresses all of them received dresses that were insanely too big, I was told 250 for alterations then after pinning my dress I was told 370 and they did nothing I asked, the next day I Called back and said it was too much for my price range and I was coming to pick it up I needed to pay a 35$ un pinning fee and they left a pin in the dresses chest area bc it was stuck and created a pull in my wedding dress my whole experience was devastating, Never again will I be going to David's bridal

We were very rushed in the process and did not have personal able service. The consultant was not knowledgeable at all and made no effort to find the information needed.
Too bad zero stars isn't an option!
After buying my bridesmaid dress and shoes 5 weeks ago for a wedding on Dec 12th, my boyfriend (the best man) contracted covid a week before the wedding. I tested negative, however the bride and groom didn't want to take any chances since l live with my bf. Therefore, we both could not attend the wedding. I explained this to the store manager who claimed her hands were tied in the department of refunds and that l would have to call corporate. Mind you, my dress was never altered or even tried on since l left the store, same with shoes. Everything still in the bags it came in. So l call corporate, I'm told it's up to the store manager's discretion and l told them she said to call them because her hands were tied. After 2 days they called me back just to repeat their 7 day return policy and deny refunding me my money and instead offered me a store credit, of which l have zero use for. After repeating my situation the corporate manager Jen just kept rattling off the 7 day return policy like a robot, didn't even sound like l was talking to a real person, more like a recording. This company gives ZERO $#*!s about the customer and acts as if they don't have the power on a corporate level to authorize a $120 refund from their multi-million/billion dollar company piggy bank. I've never dealt with a more crooked, careless, cold company in my life and l truly hope their disdain for customers catches up to them one day. I plan on telling every single person l know whose getting married NOT to go to David's bridal because they don't care about anything but your wallet!
I had a really bad experience with davids bridal in Syracuse ny. I went there for a wedding dress. The dress had holes in it, stains on it, and it did not fit right. They did alterations I could zip up the dress but it still had the stains, the holes, and the top part needed more cushioning. I had to leave the dress again so they could fix it and they said they would over night it to me because my wedding was in a week and a half. I received my gown and cried for 3 days straight after they did the alterations the top was floppy, the stains were still on the gown and it would not zip and since I lost weight and not gained weight it should have zipped up with no issues. Then I had to call the corporate office in Pennsylvania for help because the store said they could not do anything. Well corporate said they would give me partial payment back well my sister talked to them and I did wind up getting my full refund. If you have any issues like I did then I strongly suggest you deal with corporate instead of the store in Syracuse.

David's Bridal made my friends wedding dress and it was absolutely stunning. It was a last minute order as the initial designer disappointed but the outcome was marvellous.
Editing to add that I spoke with my wedding photographer and she let me know it will cost $5-10 per photo to correct the colour difference in photos as they need an expert to do this. Which is unbelievable. The more I sit with this the more upset I am. You are supposed to feel beautiful on your wedding day and I was insecure about my dress. Avoid doing alterations with them!
I purchased a dress from you and had alterations completed at your Scarborough location. I had lace added to the shoulders of the dress and the dress hemmed and taken in. I was told that the lace was the exact same lace that is on the dress already. When I picked up the dress the colours matched in your store lighting. I have now taken the dress out for my outdoor wedding and the lace that you added is a different colour than the dress.
Today is my wedding day and I now have a wedding dress that I am completely unhappy with and will look horrible in photos. The amount of money you charge for alterations, you should ensure you are providing accurate information about your service fabrics.
I have never been more disappointed in alterations from a professional location as I was with DB. I paid almost $200 and the dress was horrible, the coverup in the bust area was sown wrong that I had to use some tape to hold it together and the snaps in the back were so flimsy that I had to use a safety pin to keep it closed because it kept unsnapping... Very poor experience and never will I use David's Bridal again.

Was suppose to get my dress at the beginning of the month and still haven't recieved it. Hasn't even shipped out yet! 3 months is a little ridiculous to ship a dress.
We stopped at the David's Bridal on a lark. I mentioned the place to my fiancee as we drove by in Portage, Michigan. I had been looking on-line at a particular dress but hadn't take the time to visit our local store in Peoria, IL. When I walked in to the store, I had no idea what to expect since my first wedding was in 1982 and this, my final wedding, was not a traditional purchase. Holly J approached me as I walked directly to the rack where the online dress was hanging. We had a brief conversation, she took me to the fitting room and then stepped back to listen. The color of the dress I had admired did NOT look good on me at all. She listened to my comments, made a suggestion, found another dress which was similar in style, a much better fit, and I really liked. Holly J. Gave one more suggestion, again based on my critique and comments as I viewed the two dresses I tried on, and brought me a third dress.
Long story- I loved the second dress and with Holly J's knowledge and comments, I purchased my wedding dress, on a chance walk-in, while on vacation in Michigan. I don't understand why so many people are so negative. Please, look up Holly J. In Portage, Michigan.

Bride is a size 8 and it was suggested to her by the "stylist" for her to be the one to try on the bridesmaid dress for the larger girls! The "stylist" said I'm going to get you the size 12!
